Description

Rolling machine and rolling method for filling rod
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a winding machine and a winding method for a filling rod.
Background
Patent document 1 discloses a cigarette rod rolling machine. The roll-up machine conveys a tobacco material such as cut tobacco along a conveyance path together with roll paper. During this transport, the winder forms the tobacco raw material into a filler and continuously wraps it through the roll paper. The rolling machine is provided with: a dispensing tape (track) that travels along a transport path; a forming table having a forming slot for the dispensing belt to travel.
The roll paper is fed onto the distribution belt and travels in the forming slot together with the distribution belt. The filler made of tobacco raw material is supplied onto the roll paper, and is continuously wrapped by the roll paper by means of a distribution belt running in a forming groove to form a tobacco rod. When the filler travels in the forming groove together with the dispensing belt and the roll paper, the roll paper contacts the dispensing belt by receiving the weight of the filler, and a frictional force acts between the roll paper and the dispensing belt.
By applying a frictional force between the roll paper and the distribution belt, the roll paper can travel in the forming groove integrally with the distribution belt, and the roll paper can continuously wrap the filler.

Disclosure of Invention
Technical problem to be solved by the invention
Tobacco stems filled with tobacco material are broadly defined as filler stems filled with flavor material (there may be cases where tobacco material is not included). In this case, the filling portion obtained by cutting the filling rod constitutes a non-combustion heating type flavor-attracting article. A heater used as a device for attracting an article with a fragrance, for example, heats a filling portion by inserting the filling portion, and generates an aerosol of a fragrance component. In this case, if the filling amount of the flavor material is larger in the filling portion than in the size of the heater, the insertion resistance of the heater into the filling portion becomes large, and it becomes difficult to insert the heater, and the operability at the time of suction is deteriorated. Further, the heater may be damaged due to insertion resistance of the heater.
In addition, if the filling amount of the flavor material is larger than the size of the heater in the filling portion, the flavor material in the filling portion becomes too dense due to the insertion of the heater, and the air permeability in the filling portion is deteriorated, which may deteriorate the taste. In order to eliminate these drawbacks, the amount of the flavor raw material to be filled into the filling rod may be reduced as compared with the conventional one. In addition, considering the cost of the flavor-attracting article, the amount of the flavor raw material to be filled may be reduced.
If the filling amount of the flavor raw material is reduced, the filling density of the filler composed of the flavor raw material is reduced, and thus the hardness of the filler is reduced, that is, the filler is softened. Since the filler is softened, the reaction force of the filler is reduced, in other words, the filler is hard to elastically deform, so that the adhesion between the roll paper and the distribution belt is reduced when the roll paper travels in the forming groove, and the friction between the roll paper and the distribution belt is reduced. As a result, it is difficult for the distribution belt, the roll paper, and the filler to travel integrally in the forming tank, and there is a risk that a desired filler rod cannot be produced due to clogging or the like caused by the remaining of the flavor raw material in the forming tank.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a roll-up machine and a roll-up method for a filling rod, which can produce a desired filling rod even when the filling amount of a flavor raw material is reduced.
Technical scheme for solving technical problems
In one aspect, a roll-up machine for a filling rod, which forms a flavor raw material into a filler and continuously wraps the filler by a roll paper in a process of conveying the flavor raw material along a conveying path together with the roll paper, includes: a dispensing belt that travels along a conveyance path; a forming table having a forming slot for the dispensing belt to travel; the roll paper is fed onto the distribution belt, travels together with the distribution belt in the forming tank, the filler is fed onto the roll paper, and is formed into a filler rod by continuously wrapping the roll paper with the distribution belt traveling in the forming tank, the forming table has a suction chamber that sucks a tank space of the forming tank, the distribution belt is provided with a suction hole, and suction force from the suction chamber is applied to the roll paper via the suction hole.
In one embodiment, a method for rolling up a filling rod, in which a flavor raw material is formed into a filler and continuously wrapped with a roll paper in a process of conveying the flavor raw material along a conveyance path together with the roll paper, the method comprising: a conveying step of feeding the roll paper onto the distribution belt and feeding the filler onto the roll paper by using a distribution belt that travels along a conveying path and a forming table having a forming groove in which the distribution belt travels, and conveying the roll paper, the filler, and the distribution belt together in the forming groove; a packaging step of continuously wrapping the filler with the roll paper by means of a dispensing belt to form a filler rod; in the packaging step, suction is performed to apply suction force to the roll paper through suction holes formed in the dispensing belt by sucking the groove space of the forming groove.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a filling rod manufacturing machine 1. The filling rod maker 1 is provided with a suction belt 2. The suction belt 2 is endless, and a fragrance layer TL is formed by adsorbing fragrance raw materials in layers on the lower surface of the suction belt 2, and the fragrance layer TL is transferred in a transfer direction indicated by an arrow a of the transfer path 4.
The flavor raw material of the filler B constituting the filler rod is, for example, cut tobacco, a product obtained by cutting a tobacco sheet, or a product obtained by folding a tobacco sheet into a pleated shape. The flavor material may be a product obtained by adding a flavor to a sheet made of a slurry containing no tobacco, a product obtained by cutting a sheet made of a non-tobacco plant, or a product obtained by folding these sheets into a pleated shape.
A roll-up machine 6 of the present embodiment is disposed downstream of the suction belt 2 in the conveying direction a of the conveying path 4. The roll-up machine 6 forms the fragrance layer TL into the filler B and continuously wraps the roll paper P to form the filler rod TR while transferring the fragrance layer TL made of the fragrance raw material along the transport path 4 together with the roll paper P made of the paper web.
The roll-up machine 6 includes a dispensing belt 8, a forming table 10, and a drive roller 12. The dispensing belt 8 is endless and is wound around a drive roller 12. Along with the rotation of the driving roller 12, a part of the dispensing belt 8 travels along the conveyance path 4. The forming table 10 has a forming slot 14 for the dispensing belt 8 to travel. The roll paper P is fed onto the distribution belt 8 and travels together with the distribution belt 8 in the forming tank 14.
The filler B is fed onto the roll paper P, continuously wrapped by the roll paper P by the distribution belt 8 traveling in the forming groove 14, and formed into the filler rod TR. In the winding machine 6, a guide plate 16, a clamp 18, a short holder 20, a long holder 22, and a heater 24 are arranged in this order from the upstream side in the conveyance direction a of the conveyance path 4. The guide plate 16 and the clamp 18 cooperate with the forming table 10 to form a compression forming unit 26 for compression forming the fragrance layer TL into the filling B.
The guide plate 16 peels the fragrance layer TL from the suction belt 2 and guides it to the roll paper P. The dispensing belt 8 advances, and the nip 18 cooperates with the forming groove 14 of the forming table 10 to compression-form the fragrance layer TL on the roll paper P into the filler B as the fragrance layer TL supplied onto the roll paper P passes through the nip 18 together with the dispensing belt 8. The filler B passing through the nip 18 passes through the short holder 20, the long holder 22, and the heater 24 together with the dispensing belt 8 and the roll paper P.
At this time, the filler B is continuously wrapped by the roll paper P, and is formed into a filler rod TR. The two side edges of the roll paper P overlap each other via glue, and a seam of the roll paper P is formed at the filling rod TR. The glue of the seam is dried as the filling rod TR passes through the heater 24. The filling rod TR fed out from the winder 6 is cut to a predetermined length by a cutting unit 28. The cut filler rod TR is conveyed to a filter attachment unit, not shown, in a subsequent step, and constitutes a filler part for the non-combustion heating type flavor-attracting article.
Fig. 2 shows a partial cross-sectional view of the reel-up 6 seen from the direction C-C of fig. 1. A suction chamber 32 that sucks the groove space 30 of the forming groove 14 is formed in the forming table 10 of the winding-up machine 6 of the present embodiment. The suction chamber 32 has a plurality of openings in the forming tank 14 along the conveying path 4. As shown in fig. 1, the suction chamber 32 communicates with a plurality of suction ports 34 formed in the forming table 10, and communicates with a suction source through each suction port 34.
A suction opening 36 is provided in the dispensing belt 8. Suction force from the suction chamber 32 is applied to the roll paper P via the suction hole 36 of the dispensing belt 8. A cooling passage 38 is formed in the molding table 10. The cooling passage 38 receives circulation supply of cooling water from the outside and cools the molding table 10, particularly the molding tank 14.
Fig. 3 shows a partial plan view of the distribution strip 8. The suction holes 36 are provided in plurality along the extending direction of the dispensing strip 8. The hole shape of the suction holes 36 may be circular or rectangular, and various patterns can be envisaged for the size and formation range of one suction hole 36. The number of the suction holes 36 may be one or a plurality of as shown in fig. 3.
Fig. 4 shows a flowchart for explaining a method of rolling up the filler rod TR. When the winding up of the filling rod TR is started, in step S1, the roll paper P is supplied onto the dispensing belt 8 and the filler B is supplied onto the roll paper P, and the roll paper P, the filler B, and the dispensing belt 8 are moved together in the forming tank 14 to be conveyed (conveying step). In step S2, the filler B is continuously wrapped with the roll paper P by the dispensing belt 8 as described above, and is formed into the filler rod TR (wrapping step).
In the packaging step, in step P1, suction force from the suction chamber 32 is applied to the roll paper P through the suction hole 36 opened in the dispensing belt 8 by sucking the groove space 30 of the forming groove 14 (suction step). In the suction step, suction force is applied to the roll paper P through the plurality of suction holes 36 provided throughout the extending direction of the dispensing belt 8.
In the packaging step, the forming tank 14 of the forming table is cooled by the cooling water circulating through the cooling passage 38 in step P2 (cooling step). For convenience of explanation, the above-described rolling method is described as being divided into steps S1 and S2 and steps P1 and P2, but steps S1 and S2 and steps P1 and P2 are performed at the same timing from the start to the end of rolling of the filler rod TR.
As described above, in the roll-up machine 6 and the roll-up method of the filling rod TR of the present embodiment, the forming table 10 has the suction chamber 32, and the dispensing belt 8 has the suction hole 36. In the suction step of the packaging step, suction force from the suction chamber 32 is applied to the roll paper P through the suction hole 36.
As described above, when the filling amount of the flavor raw material is lower than the conventional one, the friction force acting between the roll paper P and the dispensing belt 8 is lowered due to the softening of the filler B. More specifically, if the hardness of the filler B is less than 70%, the manufacturing of the filler rod TR becomes difficult, and therefore, it is indicated that the hardness of the filler B needs to be 70% or more, more preferably 75% or more.
The hardness of filler B was measured using a measuring device (model: DD60 Adensitter (manufactured by Heinr. Borgwaldt GmbH)). The measuring device includes a push rod, and applies a load to the filling rod TR by lowering the push rod by a lowering distance d. When the diameter of the filler rod TR before the load is applied is Ds and the diameter of the filler rod TR after the predetermined time of the load application is Dd, the lowering distance d of the putter is calculated by using the expression Ds-Dd, and the hardness of the filler B is calculated by using the expression (Dd/Ds) ×100.
If the hardness of the filler B is less than 70%, the friction between the roll paper P and the dispensing belt 8 is reduced, and the dispensing belt 8, the roll paper P, and the filler B are difficult to travel integrally, and there is a possibility that a desired filler rod TR cannot be manufactured due to clogging or the like caused by the remaining of the flavor raw material in the forming groove 14. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, even if the hardness of the filler B is less than 70%, the amount of decrease in the friction force between the roll paper P and the dispensing belt 8 can be compensated by the suction force from the suction chamber 32.
Accordingly, even when the filling amount of the flavor raw material is lower than the conventional one, the adhesion between the advancing dispensing belt 8 and the roll paper P can be improved, and therefore the dispensing belt 8, the roll paper P, and the filler B can be advanced integrally. Therefore, the filler B can be prevented from remaining in the molding groove 14 and clogging. That is, the desired filling rod TR can be manufactured without being affected by the filling amount and filling density of the fragrance raw material and without being affected by the hardness of the filler B.
The suction holes 36 are provided in plural along the extending direction of the dispensing tape 8. Thereby, the suction force from the suction chamber 32 can be applied to the roll paper P more effectively. This can further effectively compensate for the amount of decrease in the friction force by the suction force from the suction chamber 32.
The suction chamber 32 has a plurality of openings in the forming tank 14 along the conveyance path 4. This makes it possible to more effectively apply the suction force from the suction chamber 32 to the dispensing belt 8 and the roll paper P over the entire area of the forming groove 14 in the conveyance direction a. Therefore, the amount of decrease in the friction force can be more effectively supplemented by the attractive force from the suction chamber 32.
The molding table 10 has a cooling passage 38, and cools the molding groove 14 in the cooling step of the packaging step. In the case where the distribution belt 8 traveling due to the attractive force from the suction chamber 32 excessively contacts the forming groove 14, frictional heat is generated in the distribution belt 8 and the forming groove 14. However, by circulating the cooling water through the cooling passage 38 to cool the molding groove 14, it is possible to prevent the distribution belt 8 and the molding groove 14 from being heated up by frictional heat. Therefore, the quality of the filling rod TR can be ensured by preventing the filling rod TR from being denatured by high temperature.
The above description of the embodiments has been completed, but the above embodiments are not limited thereto, and various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. For example, the molding table 10 is provided with the cooling passage 38 inside thereof, but the cooling passage 38 is not necessarily indispensable in practice. Specifically, if the frictional force of the dispensing belt 8 against the forming groove 14 is reduced by controlling the suction pressure of the suction source, the frictional heat generated in the forming groove 14 can be suppressed, and the dispensing belt can be smoothly moved in the forming groove 14, so that the desired filling rod TR can be manufactured without cooling the forming groove 14.
In the suction step, as long as suction force can be applied to the roll paper P through the suction holes 36 of the dispensing belt 8, a method other than forming the suction chamber 32 in the forming table 10 may be used. In the cooling step, a method other than forming the cooling passage 38 in the molding table 10 may be used as long as the molding groove 14 can be cooled.
The above-described embodiment is not limited to the roll-up machine 6 and the roll-up method of the filling rod TR for the non-combustion type flavor-absorbing article, but can be applied to the roll-up machine 6 and the roll-up method of the filling rod TR for the combustion type flavor-absorbing article.
