Technical Field

Background

The embodiment provides a display module 1, the display module 1 includes a package structure 30, a display panel 10, a supporting portion 20 and a protection support 40, the display panel 10 is located on one side of the package structure 30, the display panel 10 includes a planar portion 11, a binding portion 13 opposite to the planar portion 11, and a bending portion 12 connected between the planar portion 11 and the binding portion 13, the supporting portion 20 is disposed between the planar portion 11 and the binding portion 13, the protection support 40 includes a first support 41 and a second support 42, the first support 41 is located on one side of the binding portion 13 away from the supporting portion 20, the first support 41 is attached to the supporting portion 20, the second support 42 is located on one side of the supporting portion 20, one end of the second support 42 is connected with the first support 41, and the other end of the second support 42 extends towards a direction close to the package structure 30, wherein the first support 41 extends along a preset included angle alpha with the second support 42.
It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the display panel 10 includes, but is not limited to, an organic light emitting diode display panel (Organic Light Emitting Diode, OLED); the molding method of the protective bracket 40 includes, but is not limited to, one of plastic injection molding, stainless steel (Steel Use Stainless, SUS) stamping molding, numerical control molding (Computerized Numerical Control, CNC) molding or casting molding, which is not particularly limited in this embodiment,
preferably, in this embodiment, the preset included angle α is 90 degrees, that is, the first bracket 41 is disposed perpendicular to the second bracket 42, the front projection of the first bracket 41 on the supporting portion 20 and the front projection of the binding portion 13 on the supporting portion 20 at least partially overlap, and the other end of the second bracket 42 abuts against a side of the package structure 30 near the display panel 10.
The display module 1 includes a first adhesive 121, the first adhesive 121 is located between the first support 41 and the binding portion 13, the first adhesive 121 is preferably a double-sided adhesive, and the first support 41 is bonded with the binding portion 13 through the first adhesive 121, so as to improve the stability of the protection support 40 and the display panel 10.
It should be noted that, at present, in order to realize the narrow frame of the display device, the existing display module generally adopts a terminal bending technology (pad bending), and the non-display area of the existing display module bound with the flexible circuit board and/or the chip is bent to the back of the existing display module, but in the transportation process from the bending of the existing display module to the assembly of the whole machine, the bending area of the existing display module and the exposed flexible circuit board and/or the chip are easy to break when being extruded and collided, so that the problem of poor display of the existing display module occurs; in the prior art, a method of adding a protection frame body is generally used for protecting a bending region of the existing display module, and a flexible circuit board and/or a chip exposed outside, and the protection frame body is disassembled before the whole display module is assembled; however, the existing protection frame body is complex in structure, and the disassembly of the protection frame body before the whole machine assembly easily causes large extrusion force on part of the film layers of the existing display module, so that the risk of the film layers forming marks is caused.
It can be appreciated that in this embodiment, the protection bracket 40 includes a first bracket 41 and a second bracket 42, where the first bracket 41 is located on a side of the binding portion 13 away from the supporting portion 20, the first bracket 41 is attached to the supporting portion 20, and the second bracket 42 is located on a side of the bending portion 12 away from the supporting portion 20, and the second bracket 42 can protect the bending portion 12 to avoid the bending portion 12 from being extruded, so as to reduce the risk of line breakage, and further improve the display effect; when the second bracket 42 is pressed, the first bracket 41 and the packaging structure 30 can provide support for the second bracket 42, so as to prevent the protective bracket 40 from shaking up and down, and thus prevent the bending portion 12 from being pressed; meanwhile, the front projection of the first bracket 41 on the supporting portion 20 at least partially overlaps with the front projection of the binding portion 13 on the supporting portion 20, and the first bracket 41 can also provide protection for the display panel 10 when the display module 1 is pressed from the back surface thereof.

Specifically, in the present embodiment, in the direction perpendicular to the package structure 30, the thickness range of the first support 41 is 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less, and the thickness range of the second support 42 is 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less; the thickness of the first support 41 is preferably one of 0.5 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm, and the thickness of the second support 42 is preferably one of 0.5 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm; wherein the depth of the groove 41A is less than or equal to the thickness of the first bracket 41; it should be noted that the thickness of the first support 41, the thickness of the second support 42, and the depth of the groove 41A may be set according to practical situations, which is not particularly limited in this embodiment.
It can be appreciated that in this embodiment, the front projection of the chip 50 on the first support 41 is disposed in the groove 41A, so that when the display module 1 is pressed by the back surface thereof, the first support 41 moves in a direction approaching to the chip 50, and the groove 41A can prevent the first support 41 from contacting with the chip 50, so that the risk of line breakage caused by the chip 50 being pressed is further reduced.
In this embodiment, the display module 1 further includes a functional film layer 60 disposed on the light emitting side of the display panel 10, the functional film layer 60 is located between the package structure 30 and the display panel 10, the functional film layer 60 includes, but is not limited to, a polarizer located on the light emitting side of the display panel 10, and an orthographic projection of the functional film layer 60 in a direction perpendicular to the display panel 10 covers the planar portion 11; the package structure 30 is shaped to match the shape of the functional film 60 and can be attached to a side of the functional film 60 away from the display panel 10 by an adhesive layer, and the package structure 30 includes, but is not limited to, a flexible substrate (not shown) and a flexible Cover plate (not shown) that are sequentially away from the display panel 10, the flexible substrate being located between the functional film 60 and the flexible Cover plate, wherein a material of the flexible substrate includes, but is not limited to, one of Cover Glass (CW) and Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG), and the flexible Cover plate includes, but is not limited to, a Cover material protective film (PW) and a composition of optical cement (Optically Clear Adhesive, OCA); further, the material of the cover material protective film includes, but is not limited to, one of polyethylene terephthalate (polyethylene glycol terephthalate, PET) and transparent polyimide (Colorless Polyimide, CPI).
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the film structure of the functional film 60 and the film structure of the packaging structure 30 are not particularly limited, for example, in an embodiment, the packaging structure 30 further includes a reworkable protective film (Circulating Protective Film, CPF) located on a side of the flexible cover plate away from the flexible substrate, and the reworkable protective film is attached to a side of the flexible cover plate away from the display panel 10, so that when the reworkable protective film is scratched during use, a user can remove a repair point to replace the reworkable protective film, thereby avoiding long-term appearance defects caused by scratches.
In this embodiment, the display module 1 further includes a first back plate 70, a buffer layer (not shown), a heat dissipation layer 80, a second back plate 90, and an adhesive layer 100; the first back plate 70 is located between the planar portion 11 and the supporting portion 20, the buffer layer is located between the first back plate 70 and the supporting portion 20, the heat dissipation layer 80 is located between the supporting portion 20 and the binding portion 13, the second back plate 90 is located between the heat dissipation layer 80 and the binding portion 13, and the adhesive layer 100 is located between the second back plate 90 and the binding portion 13; an orthographic projection of the first back plate 70 in a direction perpendicular to the display panel 10 covers the planar portion 11, an orthographic projection of the support portion 20 in a direction perpendicular to the display panel 10 covers the planar portion 11, and an orthographic projection of the heat dissipation layer 80 in a direction perpendicular to the display panel 10 covers the planar portion 11.
Further, the display module 1 further includes a middle frame 110, where the middle frame 110 includes a bottom frame 111 and a side frame 112 disposed around the bottom frame 111, the bottom frame 111 is disposed on a side of the first bracket 41 away from the display panel 10, the side frame 112 is disposed on a side of the second bracket 42 away from the bending portion 12, and the side frame 112 is overlapped with the packaging structure 30; specifically, the side frame 112 is disposed around the edge of the bottom frame 111, the bottom frame 111 and the side frame 112 form a cavity, and the package structure 30, the functional film 60, the display panel 10, the first back plate 70, the buffer layer, the supporting portion 20, the heat dissipation layer 80, the second back plate 90, and the adhesive layer 100 are disposed in the cavity.
Specifically, the material of the supporting portion 20 includes, but is not limited to, a metal material or a plastic material, and the material of the supporting portion 20 is preferably one of an aluminum alloy, a stainless steel (SUS), an injection-molded copper sheet, a copper pillar, or a thermoplastic polymer structure material (ABS), wherein when the material of the supporting portion 20 is a metal material, the supporting portion has a good heat conducting effect on the basis of having a strong supporting performance, so that heat generated by the display panel 10 is dissipated.
The first back plate 70 may be connected to the planar portion 11 through a pressure sensitive adhesive, so that in the film bending and adhering process, the deformation of the first back plate 70 and the supporting portion 20 due to the film compression of the display panel 10 is reduced, and the imprint of the display panel 10 is reduced.
The shape of the buffer layer is matched with that of the supporting portion 20, the material of the buffer layer can be foam, and the foam can play a role in buffering, has a good heat conduction effect, and ensures the working efficiency of the display panel 10.
The heat dissipation layer 80 is attached to a side of the support portion 20 away from the plane portion 11, the shape of the heat dissipation layer 80 is matched with that of the support portion 20, and the heat dissipation layer 80 includes, but is not limited to, a metal copper layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a white latex layer, a Super Clean Foam (SCF) and a heat dissipation film layer, which are sequentially away from the support portion 20.
In this embodiment, the protection bracket 40 is provided with a plurality of hollow portions (not shown in the drawing), and the hollow portions are disposed corresponding to the binding portion 13 and the bending portion 12; the hollowed-out portion includes, but is not limited to, a via hole, and the via hole is spaced from the groove 41A; it can be appreciated that, in this embodiment, the protection support 40 is provided with a plurality of hollow portions, so as to reduce the weight of the protection support 40, and facilitate the light weight of the display module 1, and the protection support 40 has a simple structure, is easy to process, and further reduces the production cost.
Fig. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a second type of display module according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
In this embodiment, the structure of the display module is similar to/the first structure of the display module provided in the first embodiment, please refer to the description of the display module in the above embodiment, and the difference between the two is that:
in the present embodiment, the second bracket 42 includes a circular arc portion 42A, the circular arc portion 42A protruding in a direction away from the bending portion 12; the side wall of the arc part 42A is attached to at least part of the side wall of the bending part 12; specifically, the display module 1 includes a second adhesive 122, the second adhesive 122 is located between the side wall of the circular arc portion 42A and the side wall of the bending portion 12, the second adhesive 122 is preferably double-sided adhesive, and the circular arc portion 42A is bonded with the bending portion 12 through the second adhesive 122, so as to improve the stability of the protection bracket 40 and the display panel 10.
It may be appreciated that, in this embodiment, the second support 42 includes an arc portion, the arc portion protrudes along a direction away from the bending portion 12, and a side wall of the arc portion is attached to at least a portion of a side wall of the bending portion 12, so that when a display device (such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, etc.) is assembled, an assembly space is left for other functional modules (such as a battery module), and a cruising ability of the display panel 10 is improved.
Fig. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a third embodiment of a display module according to the present disclosure.
In this embodiment, the structure of the display module is similar to/the first structure of the display module provided in the first embodiment, please refer to the description of the display module in the above embodiment, and the difference between the two is that:
in this embodiment, the range of the preset included angle α is greater than 90 degrees and less than 130 degrees, a fixing groove 112A is disposed on one side of the side frame 112 near the second bracket 42, and the other end of the second bracket 42 is disposed in the fixing groove 112A.
Specifically, the range of the included angle between the extending direction of the first bracket 41 and the extending direction of the second bracket 42 is greater than 90 degrees and less than 100 degrees, and the preset included angle α is preferably one of 100 degrees, 115 degrees and 120 degrees; it can be appreciated that, in this embodiment, by setting the side frame 112 to be close to the side of the second support 42, a fixing groove 112A is provided, the other end of the second support 42 is disposed in the fixing groove 112A, and the second support 42 is fixedly connected with the middle frame 110, thereby enhancing the fixing effect of the protection support 40 and further improving the protection capability of the protection support 40.
The embodiment provides a mobile terminal, which comprises a terminal main body and the display module set in any one of the embodiments, wherein the terminal main body and the display module set are combined into a whole.
It will be appreciated that the display module has been described in detail in the above embodiments, and the description thereof will not be repeated here.
When the mobile terminal is specifically applied, the mobile terminal can be a display screen of a smart phone, a tablet personal computer, a notebook computer, a smart bracelet, a smart watch, smart glasses, a smart helmet, a desktop computer, a smart television or a digital camera and the like, and even can be applied to an electronic device with a flexible display screen.
In the foregoing embodiments, the descriptions of the embodiments are emphasized, and for parts of one embodiment that are not described in detail, reference may be made to related descriptions of other embodiments.
The foregoing describes in detail a display module and a mobile terminal provided in the embodiments of the present application, and specific examples are applied to describe the principles and implementations of the present application, where the descriptions of the foregoing embodiments are only used to help understand the method and core ideas of the present application; meanwhile, those skilled in the art will have variations in the specific embodiments and application scope in light of the ideas of the present application, and the present description should not be construed as limiting the present application in view of the above.
Claims (10)
1. A display module, comprising:
a package structure;
the display panel is positioned on one side of the packaging structure and comprises a plane part, a binding part and a bending part, wherein the binding part is arranged opposite to the plane part, and the bending part is connected between the plane part and the binding part;
a support portion disposed between the planar portion and the binding portion;
the protection support comprises a first support and a second support, wherein the first support is located at one side of the binding portion, which is away from the supporting portion, the first support is attached to the supporting portion, the second support is located at one side of the bending portion, which is away from the supporting portion, one end of the second support is connected with the first support, the other end of the second support extends towards the direction, which is close to the packaging structure, of the second support, and the extending direction of the first support and the extending direction of the second support form a preset included angle.
2. The display module assembly of claim 1, wherein the predetermined included angle is a right angle, the orthographic projection of the first bracket on the supporting portion and the orthographic projection of the binding portion on the supporting portion are at least partially overlapped, and the other end of the second bracket is abutted to a side, close to the display panel, of the packaging structure.
3. The display module of claim 2, wherein the second bracket has a height in a direction perpendicular to the package structure that is greater than a distance between a side of the binding portion away from the package structure and the package structure.
4. The display module of claim 2, further comprising a chip, the chip being connected to the binding portion;
the front projection of the first bracket on the display panel covers the front projection of the chip on the display panel.
5. The display module assembly of claim 4, wherein the first bracket includes a recess, the recess being located on a side of the first bracket adjacent to the chip;
the orthographic projection of the chip on the first bracket is positioned in the groove.
6. The display module assembly of claim 2, wherein the second bracket includes an arc portion protruding in a direction away from the bent portion; the side wall of the arc part is attached to at least part of the side wall of the bending part.
7. The display module of claim 1, wherein the display module further comprises:
a first back plate located between the support portion and the planar portion;
the heat dissipation layer is positioned between the first backboard and the supporting part;
the second backboard is positioned between the supporting part and the binding part;
the middle frame comprises a bottom frame and side frames surrounding the bottom frame, the bottom frame is arranged on one side, far away from the display panel, of the first bracket, the side frames are positioned on one side, far away from the bending part, of the second bracket, and the side frames are arranged in lap joint with the packaging structure;
the range of the preset included angle is larger than 90 degrees and smaller than 130 degrees, a fixing groove is formed in one side, close to the second support, of the side frame, and the other end of the second support is arranged in the fixing groove.
8. The display module assembly of claim 1, wherein the protective bracket is provided with a plurality of hollowed-out portions, and the hollowed-out portions are arranged corresponding to the binding portions and the bending portions.
9. The display module of claim 1, wherein the first support has a thickness in a range of 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less and the second support has a thickness in a range of 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less in a direction perpendicular to the package structure.
10. A mobile terminal comprising a terminal body and a display module according to any one of claims 1 to 9, the terminal body being integral with the display module.
