The cover plate 110 is mounted on the display structure 120 to cover the display structure 120, and may form the same display area and non-display area as the display structure 120 or different display areas and non-display areas.
In some embodiments, the Display structure 120 may be a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) type Display structure.
In some embodiments, when the display structure 120 is a liquid crystal display, the electronic device 100 may further include a backlight module, which is not shown in the drawings.
In some embodiments, the Display structure 120 may be a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) type Display structure.

In some embodiments, the cover plate 110, the display structure 120 and the backlight module in the electronic device 100 may form a display screen assembly. Alternatively, the electronic device 100 includes a display panel assembly, which may include a cover plate 110, a display structure 120, and a backlight module. The following description will be made in detail by taking a display screen assembly as an example.
Referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3, fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a display screen assembly according to an embodiment of the present application, and fig. 3 is a schematic partial-split structural diagram of the display screen assembly according to the embodiment of the present application. The display screen assembly 1 may include a cover plate 110, a display structure 120, a backlight module 12, a light shielding adhesive 14, a plastic frame 13, and a frame 11. The cover plate 110, the display structure 120, the backlight module 12 and the frame 11 are sequentially arranged.
In some embodiments, the area of the side of the cover plate 110 that can be fixedly connected to the display structure 120 may be larger than the area of the display structure 120, so as to form a display region and a non-display region on the cover plate 110. The non-display area is located at a peripheral position of the cover plate 110, and is formed outward from a peripheral edge of the display structure 120 and protrudes from the peripheral edge of the display structure 120. The size of the area of the non-display region 112 may be set according to actual needs. Such as: the non-display area needs to be reserved on the top or bottom of the electronic device 100, and the area of the non-display area 112 of the cover plate 110 can be set to be larger. For another example: if the non-display area does not need to be reserved at the top or the bottom of the electronic device 100, the non-display area may not be provided, or the area of the non-display area is set to be smaller, and the area of the whole cover plate 110 may be slightly larger than the area of the display structure 120.
The display structure 120 can refer to the above contents, and is not described herein again. The display structure 120 and the cover plate 110 may be fixedly connected by using optical cement, such as OCA optical cement.
The backlight module 12 is fixedly connected to the display structure 120, and is used for providing a light source for the display structure 120.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a frame according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The frame 11 may be made of a metal material, such as a stainless steel material. In some embodiments, the frame 11 has a sidewall 111 and a bottom wall 112, the sidewall 111 is disposed around the bottom wall 112 to form a receiving space 113, and the receiving space 113 can receive the backlight module 12. The side wall 111 may be disposed at one, two or more peripheral locations of the bottom wall 112. Wherein the sidewall 111 has an inner surface, which is a surface located inside the receiving space 113, and an outer surface, which is a peripheral outer surface located at the periphery of the frame 11. Wherein the bottom wall has an inner surface, which is a surface located inside the receiving space 113, and an outer surface, which is located at the bottom of the frame 11.
In some embodiments, the backlight module 12 may or may not be flush with the periphery of the sidewall 111. The display structure 120 is stacked on the upper portion of the backlight module 12, and the display structure 120 may also be stacked on the upper portion of the sidewall 111.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a light shielding adhesive according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The light shielding glue 14 is disposed between the backlight module 12 and the display structure 120. The light shielding adhesive 12 can be formed by black glue or black double-sided adhesive, and has a light shielding effect, so that the light shielding effect on the display structure 120 can be improved, and the light leakage prevention effect of the display structure 120 is better.
In some embodiments, the light shielding glue 14 has a first portion 141 and a second portion 142, the first portion 141 is disposed at the free end of the sidewall and the edge of the backlight module; the second portion 142 is disposed on the outer surface of the peripheral edge of the sidewall 111, and the light shielding glue 14 covers the connecting position of the backlight module 12 and the sidewall 111. In some embodiments, the first portion 141 and the second portion 142 may be perpendicular to each other to form an L-shaped structure, or may not be perpendicular.
It should be noted that, in the actual production process, since the side wall 111 of the frame 11 is relatively thin, the light shielding glue 14 is not easily molded in the process of disposing the light shielding glue 14. The inventor of this application in the actual production process, an installation plastic frame in accommodating space 113 of frame 11, the plastic frame is close to lateral wall 111 internal surface setting, can place back module 12 on the plastic frame, also can not place on the plastic frame, and plastic frame and lateral wall are adjacent, mutually support, can increase the width of lateral wall 111 position, can supply black glue to form at the free end shaping of lateral wall 111 to form shading glue 14. However, the plastic frame disposed inside the frame 11 occupies the inner space of the frame 11, and the size of the backlight module 12 is reduced.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the present application, the plastic frame inside the frame 11 is removed, the internal space of the frame 11 can be increased, and the light shielding glue 14 can be disposed at the free end of the sidewall 111, specifically as follows:
referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic structural view of a plastic frame according to an embodiment of the present application. The plastic frame 13 has a first wall 131 and a second wall 132, wherein the first wall 131 is fixedly connected with the first portion 141 of the light shielding glue 14; wherein the second wall 132 is disposed on the outer surface of the bottom wall 112 of the frame 11.
In some embodiments, the plastic frame 13 is provided with a notch 134, the notch 134 being formed from the free end of the first wall 131 towards the second wall 132. The frame 11 at the location of the gap 132 may be grasped by a mechanical device during assembly of the display screen assembly 1. It should be noted that the light shielding glue 14 is also formed with a notch 144 at the position of the notch 132 at the position of the plastic frame 13, so as to expose the frame 11 for being grasped by the mechanical equipment.
Specifically, referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a partial sectional view of the display panel assembly shown in fig. 2 in a direction a-a. The first portion 141 of the light shielding glue 14 is fixedly connected between the display screen 120 and the backlight module 12, and the second portion 142 of the light shielding glue 14 is fixedly connected between the first wall 131 of the plastic frame 131 and the side wall 111 of the frame 11. The second portion 142 may be connected to the bottom wall 112, or may be connected to only a portion of the outer surface of the sidewall 111.
In some embodiments, the second wall 132 and the bottom wall 112 are fixedly connected to each other by glue or double-sided glue. It should be noted that, the plastic frame 13 may also be directly formed with a glue on one side, which directly fixes and connects the second wall 132 and the bottom wall 112.
As can be seen from the above, the plastic frame 13 of the embodiment of the present application is installed at the positions of the side wall 111 and the bottom wall 112 of the frame 11, and the width of the position of the side wall 111 can be increased, or a receiving groove can be formed at the position of the side wall 111, so that the black glue is molded to form the light shielding glue 13. Thereby setting up shading and gluing 13 in-process, shading is glued 13 and not only can be with lateral wall 111 bonding, but also can bond with plastics frame 13, promotes shading and glues 13 and lateral wall 111's adhesive property and area, promotes the waterproof performance and the shading performance of display screen subassembly 1, and then promotes electronic equipment 100's whole waterproof performance. The plastic frame 13 is arranged outside the frame 11, so that the internal space of the frame 11 is not occupied.
It should be noted that the matching relationship between the light-shielding glue 14, the plastic frame 13 and the frame 11 is not shown, and specifically, please refer to fig. 8, in which fig. 8 is another partial sectional view of the display panel assembly shown in fig. 2 in the direction a-a. Fig. 8 differs from fig. 7 in that: the light blocking paste 14 may further include a third portion 143, and the third portion 143 is disposed at a free end of the first wall 131. The fixed connection area and the fixed connection performance of the light shielding glue 14 and the plastic frame 13 can be further improved through the third portion 143, so that the production process is easier, and the waterproof and light shielding effects of the display screen assembly 1 are better.
In some embodiments, the third portion 143 extends outwardly along one end of the first portion 141, the third portion 143 and the first portion 141 are located at the same end of the second portion 142, and the third portion 143 and the first portion 141 are located at both sides of the second portion 142. The second portion 142 may be disposed perpendicular to the first portion 141, or may be disposed perpendicular to the third portion 143, and the light shielding glue 14 may have a T-shaped structure.
In the above embodiment, the free end of the first wall 131 may be flush with the free end of the sidewall 111. The free end of the first wall 131 may be lower than the free end of the side wall 111, or the height of the first wall 131 is smaller than the sum of the thicknesses of the side wall 111 and the bottom wall 112.
Referring to fig. 9, fig. 9 is another partial sectional view of the display panel assembly of fig. 2 in the direction a-a. Fig. 9 differs from fig. 7 in that: the second portion 142 is disposed directly at the free end of the first wall 131, and the second portion 142 is fixedly connected directly to the peripheral outer surface of the sidewall 111. And the first wall 131 is fixedly connected directly to the peripheral outer surface of the side wall 111. The first wall 131 and the second portion 142 cover the outer surface of the side wall 111. Wherein the height of the first wall 131 is smaller than the sum of the thicknesses of the side wall 111 and the bottom wall 112.
Referring to fig. 10, fig. 10 is another partial sectional view of the display panel assembly shown in fig. 2 in the direction a-a. Fig. 10 differs from fig. 7 in that: the light-shielding adhesive 14 is a strip structure, and the light-shielding adhesive 14 is directly disposed on the first wall 131, the sidewall 111 and the backlight module 12. And the first wall 131 is directly fixedly connected with the peripheral outer surface of the side wall 111, the free end of the first wall 131 is flush with the free end of the side wall 111, and the first wall 131 covers the peripheral outer surface of the side wall 111.
Referring to fig. 11, fig. 11 is another partial sectional view of the display panel assembly of fig. 2 in the direction a-a. Fig. 11 differs from fig. 10 in that: the plastic frame 131 further includes a third wall 133, the second wall 132 and the third wall 133 are disposed at both ends of the first wall 131, and the third wall 133 is disposed at the free end of the sidewall 111 and the periphery of the backlight module 12. Wherein the light blocking paste 14 is directly disposed on the third wall 133. The light shielding glue 14 can also be disposed on the third wall 133 and the backlight module 12.
In some embodiments, the display panel assembly 1 may further include a first polarizer and a second polarizer. Wherein the first polarizer is disposed between the OCA optical adhesive and the display structure 120. Wherein the second polarizer is disposed between the backlight module 12 and the display structure 120.
It should be noted that the structure of the display structure 120 is not limited thereto. For example, the display structure 120 may be a special-shaped screen, specifically, please refer to fig. 12, and fig. 12 is another schematic structural diagram of the electronic device according to the embodiment of the present application. The electronic device in fig. 12 differs from the electronic device in fig. 1 in that: the electronic device 200 includes a display structure 220, a cover plate 210, a printed circuit board 230, a battery 240, and a housing 250. Wherein the display structure 220 has a light permeable region 280 formed directly thereon. Specifically, for example: the display structure 220 is provided with a through hole penetrating the display structure 220 in the thickness direction, the light permeable region 280 may include the through hole, and the through hole may be provided with a front camera, an earpiece, a sensor assembly, and the like. For another example: the display structure 220 is provided with a non-display area, and the light transmittable area 280 may include the non-display area. Wherein the cover plate 210 is adapted to the structural arrangement of the display structure 220. It should be noted that the housing 250 may refer to the housing 150, the printed circuit board 230 may refer to the printed circuit board 130, and the battery 240 may refer to the battery 140, which are not described herein again.
It should be further noted that, in some embodiments, the display structure 120 may not include the non-display area, but may be configured as a full-screen structure, and a distance sensor, an ambient light sensor, and the like may be disposed below the display structure or at other positions. Specifically, please refer to fig. 13, and fig. 13 is another schematic structural diagram of the electronic device according to the embodiment of the present application. The electronic device 300 includes a display structure 320, a cover 310, a printed circuit board 330, a battery 340, and a housing 350. The display structure 320 covers the housing 350, and has no non-display area. Wherein the cover plate 310 is adapted to the size of the display structure 320. It should be noted that, the housing 350 may refer to the housing 150, the printed circuit board 330 may refer to the printed circuit board 130, and the battery 340 may refer to the battery 140, which are not described herein again.
Referring to fig. 14, fig. 14 is a schematic structural diagram of another electronic device according to an embodiment of the present application, and the electronic device in fig. 14 is different from the electronic device in fig. 1 in that: the electronic device 400 in fig. 14 includes a display structure 420, a cover plate 410, a printed circuit board 430, a battery 440, and a housing 450. The display structure 420 is provided with a first opening 421 at its periphery, and the first opening 421 can be used for placing a front camera, an earphone, a sensor assembly, and other devices. Wherein the cover plate 410 is adapted to the structural arrangement of the display structure 490. It should be noted that the housing 450 may refer to the housing 150, the printed circuit board 430 may refer to the printed circuit board 130, and the battery 440 may refer to the battery 140, which are not described herein again.
Referring to fig. 15 and fig. 16, fig. 15 is a schematic diagram illustrating another portion of a display panel assembly according to an embodiment of the present disclosure in a disassembled state, and fig. 16 is a schematic diagram illustrating another structure of the display panel assembly according to the embodiment of the present disclosure. The display screen assembly 4 may further include a frame 460, a backlight module 470, a light-shielding glue 480, and a plastic frame 490. Wherein, frame 460, backlight unit 470, shading glue 480 and plastic frame 490 lie in with above difference respectively: the plastic frame 490 is plural, the frame 460 has a second opening 461, the backlight module 470 has a third opening 471, and the light shielding glue 480 has a fourth opening 481.
Referring to fig. 17, fig. 17 is another schematic structural diagram of a plastic frame according to an embodiment of the present application. The plastic frame 490 may be a plurality, such as three, one of which is installed at each opening position, and two of which are installed at the protruding positions formed at both sides of the opening. Two of the plastic frames 490 have notches 494, which notches 494 can be referred to above as notches 134 and will not be described in detail herein.
The display screen assembly and the electronic device provided by the embodiments of the present application are described in detail above, and the principles and embodiments of the present application are explained herein by applying specific examples, and the descriptions of the above embodiments are only used to help understanding the present application. Meanwhile, for those skilled in the art, according to the idea of the present application, there may be variations in the specific embodiments and the application scope, and in summary, the content of the present specification should not be construed as a limitation to the present application.

Claims (12)

1. A display screen assembly, comprising:
the metal frame is provided with a bottom wall and side walls, and the side walls form a containing space around the bottom wall;
the backlight module is arranged in the accommodating space;
the shading glue is provided with a first part and a second part, the first part is arranged at the free tail end of the side wall and the edge of the backlight module, the second part is arranged on the outer surface of the periphery of the side wall, and the shading glue covers the connecting position of the backlight module and the side wall;
the display structure is arranged on the first part and the backlight module;
and the plastic frame is provided with a first wall and a second wall, the first wall is fixedly connected with the second part, and the second wall is arranged on the outer surface of the bottom wall.
2. The display screen assembly of claim 1, wherein the light blocking glue further comprises a third portion disposed at a free end of the first wall.
3. A display screen assembly according to claim 2, wherein the third portion extends outwardly along one end of the first portion, the third portion and first portion being located at the same end of the second portion, the third portion and first portion being located on opposite sides of the second portion.
4. The display screen assembly of claim 3, wherein the second portion is disposed perpendicular to the first portion and the third portion, respectively.
5. A display screen assembly according to claim 1, wherein the second wall is fixedly connected to the bottom wall by glue.
6. A display screen assembly according to claim 1, wherein the plastic frame is provided with a notch formed from a free end of the first wall in a direction towards the second wall.
7. A display screen assembly, comprising:
the metal frame is provided with a bottom wall and side walls, and the side walls form a containing space around the bottom wall;
the backlight module is arranged in the accommodating space;
a plastic frame having a first wall disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the side wall and having a height less than the sum of the height of the side wall and the thickness of the bottom wall, and a second wall disposed on the outer surface of the bottom wall;
the light shading glue is provided with a first part and a second part, the first part is arranged at the free tail end of the side wall and the edge of the backlight module, the second part is arranged on the outer surface of the periphery of the side wall, the second part is arranged at the free tail end of the first wall, and the second part and the first wall jointly cover the outer surface of the periphery of the side wall;
and the display structure is arranged on the first part and the backlight module.
8. The display screen assembly of claim 7, wherein the first and second portions are disposed perpendicular to each other.
9. The display screen assembly of claim 7, wherein the first wall is fixedly attached to the side wall by glue.
10. A display screen assembly according to claim 7 or 9, wherein the second wall is fixedly connected to the bottom wall by glue.
11. A display screen assembly according to claim 7, wherein the plastic frame is provided with a notch formed from a free end of the first wall towards the second wall.
12. An electronic device comprising a housing and a display screen assembly mounted on the housing, the display screen assembly being as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 11.
