Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more clear, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present application.
Gallery mode is one way to display a User Interface (UI) layout commonly used in video conferencing. In gallery mode, participants of a meeting are arranged on the screen in equally sized squares, which are typically divided into four, six or nine equally sized layouts, depending on the setting of the meeting platform and the number of participants. The video of one participant is displayed in each square, and the layout ensures that the participants can more easily see the expression and the action of all other people, thereby promoting more natural and intimate communication.
However, in practical meeting product applications, there are tens of people, hundreds of people, and up to thousands of people meeting in one meeting. In the conference process, if a user (for example, a conference host) wants to check the conference entering states (videos) of other conference members, the user needs to constantly manually turn pages, so that the operation amount of the host is greatly increased, and the conference effect is influenced. As shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 illustrates a conference display page, where the conference page shown in fig. 1 is a case of displaying 4 pictures on each page under the gallery model, when the number of people participating in the conference is more than 4, for example, if N participants join in a conference of AA (N is a positive integer greater than 4), the conference display page shown in fig. 1 can only display 4 pictures, namely, participant 1, participant 2, participant 3 and participant 4, and if the user wants to view the pictures of other participants, the user needs to manually perform a page turning process, which increases the operation amount of the user and affects the conference effect of the user. It should be understood that fig. 1 is only illustrative, and that other necessary information, such as a page turning function button, an audio button, a video button, a page layout adjustment button, etc., may be displayed in an actual conference screen.
In view of the above problems, the application provides a method for displaying a participant in a conference, which realizes a display scheme with simple operation by automatically switching display pages, can reduce manual operation of a user as much as possible, liberates hands of the user as much as possible, and improves user experience.
In the following, for ease of understanding and explanation, by way of example and not limitation, the method of displaying a participant member of the present application will be described as executing and acting in a conference system.
A schematic diagram of a conference system provided by an embodiment of the present application is exemplarily described below with reference to fig. 2.
The conference system as shown in fig. 2 includes: a plurality of conference terminals and a media server.
In the embodiment of the application, the media server can be used for forwarding the data stream of the conference terminal, so that the real-time online video conference of a plurality of conference terminals is realized.
In the embodiment of the present application, it should be understood that the conference terminal in the embodiment of the present application may also be referred to as a client, a user side, a user device, or a terminal device. The conference terminal in the present application may include a smart phone, a tablet pc, (personal digital assistant, PDA personal digital assistant), a computer, a game console, a wearable device, a tablet pc (portable android device, PAD), etc., which is not limited thereto.
It should be understood that the operating system running on the conference terminal may be a Linux kernel-based operating system such as a mobile Android (Android), a mobile Ubuntu (Ubuntu), a taziram (Tizen), or a desktop operating system such as Windows, mac OS, linux, but the present application is not limited thereto.
It should be understood that in the conference system scenario shown in fig. 2, the number of conference terminals may include any number, according to the actual situation, for example, 10, 50, 500, 5000, etc., and specifically, according to the actual number of participants.
It should also be understood that the conference system in the embodiment of the present application only illustrates the case of including the conference terminal and the media server, but the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto, and the conference system may also include a signaling server and other devices. In the embodiment of the application, the signaling server, which may also be called a control end or a management end, may be used for performing signaling interaction with the conference terminals to transfer necessary information required for establishing the connection between the conference terminals.
A method of displaying a participant member according to one embodiment of the application is illustrated in the following by way of example in connection with fig. 3.
The method shown in fig. 3 is applied to the conference system shown in fig. 3, and the method shown in fig. 3 includes:
310, the conference terminal determines the member information to be displayed on the next page according to the serial number of the current page and the number of members displayed on each page.
The member information to be displayed comprises identification of each member to be displayed in the next page.
Specifically, the conference terminal determines the serial number of the next page and the members in the next page according to the current page and the number of the members displayed on each page. For example, it may be determined which members need to be displayed in a particular next page based on where the members in the next page are located in the entire member list (memList).
Optionally, in another embodiment, in 310, when the sequence number of the current page is the first page or the intermediate sequence number, the conference terminal determines, according to the sequence number of the current page and the number of members displayed on each page, the information of the members in all conference member lists corresponding to the determined index position as the member information of the next page.
For example, 18 persons are included in the member list participating in the conference, the whole member list is ordered from the 0 th to the 17 th members, and 4 persons are displayed on each page. If the current page is page 2, then the next page is page 3 (i.e., page 2+1), and the members of the next page display are in the entire list with a starting index of: the number of members displayed per page (currentPage number), i.e., 2×4=8; the index ends as: the number of members displayed per page is reduced by 1 ((currentPage+1) ×shownumber-1), i.e. 3×4-1=11, i.e. the members displayed per page are the 8 th to 11 th members in the whole member list.
Alternatively, as another embodiment, in 310, when it is determined that the number of the current page is the last page according to the number of the current page and the number of members displayed on each page, the conference terminal determines the member information of the first page in the conference as the member information to be displayed on the next page.
Specifically, the conference terminal may determine whether the current page is the last page according to the number of members displayed in each page and the number of total members in the member list. For example, when the number of members displayed per page is greater than or equal to the number of members of the group members in the member list (currentPage > = memList. Length), it may be determined that the current page is the last page, and the conference terminal determines the first page as the next page, or the number of pages in front of the conference terminal is set to 0, and the current page plus 1 is determined as the page number of the next page. I.e. the next page number is 0+1, i.e. the next page is page 1. When the number of members displayed per page is smaller than the number of members in the member list (currentPage number < memList. Length), the current page may be determined to be the first page or the middle page, and the current page number may be directly added by 1 to be the page number of the next page.
It should be appreciated that in embodiments of the present application, the ordering of the members in the member list may be in various ways, for example, may be random ordering, or may be flexibly adjusted based on the chronological order and identity of the members involved (e.g., the speaker, the host, or the participant themselves). For example, the order of the members may be dynamically adjusted based on time ordering, or based on the speaker, the speaker may be placed at the first position of the ordering, or the terminal of the participant member may place the position of the participant member at the forefront, or the ordering of the members may be dynamically adjusted based on different priorities based on the above factors, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto.
Optionally, as another embodiment, before step 310, the method shown in fig. 3 may further include the conference terminal determining that the current display mode is the gallery mode.
It should be appreciated that in the embodiment of the present application, the conference terminal has a plurality of display modes, including, for example, a gallery mode, a speaker mode, or a presenter mode. The gallery mode may also be referred to as a grid display mode or an expanded display mode, and the definition of the gallery mode may be referred to in the above description, which is not repeated herein. The speaker mode may be a case where only the inventor is displayed on the display screen. The moderator mode may be where the display page only displays the pages of the moderator. The conference terminal may also have other display modes, for example, a custom mode: only a screen of a person designated by a user is displayed, etc., and the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto. The embodiment of the application is mainly applied to realizing automatic page switching in the gallery mode.
Optionally, as another embodiment, before the conference terminal determines that the current display mode is the gallery mode, the method further includes: the conference terminal determines that the triggering condition of the timer is satisfied.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the application, a function switch button (also referred to as a conference inspection switch button or a picture round inspection display start button) may be provided, a user may click to open or close the function button, and meanwhile, a time interval of a timer may also be set, where the time interval of the fixed time may be set by a user in a user-defined manner, for example, the time interval is set to be any value in 3-60 s; or the time interval has several options for the user to select, for example, the time interval may be a specific time, for example, 5s, 10s or 15s for the user to select; or the time interval may be a gear of a patrol (may also be referred to as a screen switch), for example, a low-speed patrol, a medium-speed patrol, and a high-speed patrol, and the conference terminal may determine the time interval of the fixed time according to the selection of the user. Specifically, after the user finishes setting, for example, after the user clicks the determining button, the conference terminal starts the timer after acquiring the determining instruction, and starts to execute the method according to the embodiment of the present application when the time interval of the timer is reached, for example, when the time interval of the timer reaches 10s, that is, when the time interval of the timer reaches, the automatic page is switched in the gallery mode.
Alternatively, the time interval of the timer may be a default time interval, for example, the time interval of the timer may be a time interval set by the user at the time of the last meeting, or may be a default time interval, for example, the default time interval is 10s, that is, in this case, no user selection or input of the time interval is required. Alternatively, in this case, the user may also make adjustments to the default time interval.
It should be understood that, in the embodiments of the present application, the round setting may be set by a function button, for example, the user may set by touching, sliding a screen or clicking a mouse, etc. an external device; may also be provided by voice or gestures, and embodiments of the application are not limited thereto. In addition, the buttons for the conference tour inspection in the embodiment of the application can be arranged in the conference display front page, and can also be arranged in a drop-down menu or a submenu page of page layout, and the embodiment of the application is not limited to the above. Meanwhile, the manner of starting the timer in the embodiment of the present application may be various, for example, the embodiment of the present application may be a determination button or a voice command clicked by a user, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited to the above-described manner.
And 320, the conference terminal sends a subscription message to the media server, wherein the subscription message comprises the member information to be displayed.
Optionally, the conference terminal sends the subscription message, which may be directly sent to the media server or indirectly sent to the media server, for example, forwarded to the media server through the signaling server, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present application.
In embodiments of the present application, the media server may determine which data streams to send to the conference terminal based on the subscription relationship. The media server may send only the data stream of the user to which the conference terminal subscribes. The unsubscribed data streaming server may not be issued to the conference terminal. The embodiment of the application can tell the media server that the conference terminal subscribes the data streams of the participants through the subscription message, and the media server can forward the data streams of the corresponding members to the conference terminal based on the member information in the subscription message. Through subscription, the embodiment of the application can reduce the data volume of the data stream forwarded by the media server, only the data stream in the page displayed by the user (namely the data stream subscribed by the user) is sent to the conference terminal, and the problem of resource waste caused by sending the non-displayed user data stream to the conference terminal is avoided.
Optionally, as another embodiment, the method shown in fig. 3 may further include sending, by the conference terminal, an unsubscribe message to the media server, where the unsubscribe message includes identities of respective members corresponding to the current page that are stored in advance, and the unsubscribe message is used to instruct the media server to cancel sending a data stream corresponding to the identities of respective members corresponding to the current page.
Specifically, the conference terminal only needs to display the user's picture in the display page, so in the embodiment of the application, after switching to the next page, the conference terminal can not accept the data stream of the user of the previous page any more, and therefore, the conference terminal in the embodiment of the application can send the unsubscribe message to the media server to cancel the data stream of each member in the current page.
Optionally, as another embodiment, the method shown in fig. 3 may further include the conference terminal saving the member information to be displayed.
Specifically, when the page is switched, the terminal needs to do two actions, one is to send a subscription message to tell the media server which data streams need to be forwarded, and the other is to send an unsubscribe message to tell the media server which data streams need to be cancelled. In the embodiment of the application, the member information to be displayed is stored after the page is switched, so that the stored member information can be directly read when the page is switched next time, and the unsubscribe message is sent to the media server without calculation again, thereby improving the communication efficiency.
And 330, the conference terminal receives the data stream corresponding to the member information to be displayed, which is sent by the media server.
Specifically, after the media server acquires the subscription message, the data stream of the subscribed user (i.e., the data stream of the user to be displayed) may be sent to the conference terminal, so that the conference terminal may display the data stream.
340, the conference terminal switches the display page from the current page to the next page, wherein the content displayed by the display page after switching comprises the picture corresponding to the data stream.
Specifically, after the conference terminal acquires the data stream, the page turning operation is automatically realized, namely, the switching of the picture is automatically realized, the picture is switched to the next page, and after the page is switched, the next page before the switching is changed into the page currently displayed after the switching.
Optionally, as another embodiment, after switching the display page from the current page to the next page, the method further includes: and when the trigger condition of the timer is determined to be met again, executing the action of page switching again.
Specifically, after the page is switched, the last round of polling operation is completed, and after the meeting terminal determines that the triggering condition of the timer is met again, for example, after 10 seconds again, the above process is repeated, and the page is switched again.
According to the embodiment of the application, the polling function is realized through the timer, and the user (such as a conference host or a participant) can browse and switch pictures of different participants without completing manual page turning operation in the multiparty video conference, so that the hands of the user can be released as much as possible, the operation of the user is reduced, and the user experience is improved.
The method of displaying a participant in accordance with an embodiment of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the detailed example of fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a flowchart of a method for displaying a participant in a conference according to an embodiment of the application. The method as described in fig. 4 may be performed by a conference terminal, as shown in fig. 4, including:
401, start a round.
For example, after the user clicks on a meeting inspection determination button or other input-type input (e.g., voice input or gesture input) start instruction, the meeting terminal starts a round of inspection.
402, a timer is started and a timer interval is acquired.
For example, the timer starts counting at a time interval of 10s.
403, inter-arrival time.
For example, when 10s is reached, a subsequent step 404 is performed.
404, it is determined whether the current display mode is gallery mode.
In 404, if the display mode is gallery mode, step 405 is performed, and if not, the round is ended.
405, it is determined whether the current page is the last page.
In 405, if the current page is the last page, step 406 is performed, and if the current page is not the last page, i.e., the top page or the middle page, step 407 is performed.
The method of determination may refer to the description of fig. 3 above, and will not be repeated here.
406, jump to the first page.
That is, when it is determined that the current page is the last page, the process jumps to the first page, the first page is determined as the current page, and then step 407 is performed.
407, the next page number is calculated.
The calculation of the page number of the next page, i.e. the next page, can be seen from the above description of 310, and will not be repeated here.
At 408, member information to be displayed is calculated.
Descriptions of specific member information to be displayed may be referred to above and may be referred to the related description in the above 310, and will not be described herein.
409 sending a subscription message to the media server.
The conference terminal informs the media server of the data stream of the user of the picture needing to be switched by sending the subscription message to the media server, so that the media server sends the corresponding data stream to the conference terminal after receiving the subscription message.
And 410, sending an unsubscribe message to the media server.
That is, the conference terminal informs the media server of the data stream of the user that needs to be canceled (i.e., the data stream of the user of the last page after switching) by sending the unsubscribe message to the media server, so that the media server does not send the corresponding data stream to the conference terminal after receiving the unsubscribe message.
411, performing a page turning action.
It should be understood that the page turning action in the embodiment of the present application may also be referred to as a screen switching action, a page cutting action, a page refreshing action, or the like. Specifically, after the data stream of the next page sent by the media server is acquired, the conference terminal automatically executes the page turning action. It should be understood that the page turning action herein may include turning a page (or refreshing a page), and may also include caching member information of the current page after the page is turned.
It should be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, the subscription message and the unsubscribe message sent by the conference terminal may be sent simultaneously or may be sent separately. The member information of the page displayed by caching may be executed after the page is refreshed, may be executed before the page is refreshed, or may be executed simultaneously with the page is refreshed, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present application.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a block diagram illustrating an apparatus for displaying a participant in a conference according to an embodiment of the present application.
