Description

Drainage device for basin
Technical Field
The invention relates to a drain for a basin, in particular for a sanitary basin, such as a washing basin, comprising a drain having an inlet connectable to a drain opening of the basin, and comprising a valve operating device for a valve and a remote control device connectable with the valve operating device by means of a remote control element for operating the valve operating device.
The invention also relates to a drain assembly for a basin, in particular a sanitary basin, comprising a drain and a valve for closing an inlet of the drain, wherein the valve is operable by means of a remote control unit.
Background
Although applicable to any basin, the invention will be described in connection with a sanitary basin in the form of a wash basin.
The known washing appliance has a washing tub whose drain opening is provided with, for example, a mechanical operating device for moving a closing element to close and open the drain opening of the washing appliance. For this purpose, it is known to arrange a rotary operating button, a push or pull button on the upper side of the washing appliance, by means of which a vertical movement of the closure element from the open position to the closed position, or vice versa, can be achieved when the user of the washing tub correspondingly activates the button. In the case of a rotary operating button, the rotary movement is converted into a linear movement of the closure element, for example by means of a bowden cable (bowden zug) and an eccentric. For this purpose, the bowden cable is arranged below the basin on a drain element which is arranged below and connected to the drain opening of the basin. A rotatably arranged actuating element for opening and closing the closing element of the drain opening of the basin is arranged in the drain element, which actuating element can be actuated by means of a bowden cable. For this purpose, the bowden cable or its mechanical guide is screwed with the drainage element or guided through a plurality of openings arranged one behind the other, for example, which must first be heated. After cooling, the mechanical guide of the bowden cable is fixed to the drainage element.
In addition, it is known from EP1388618A1 to arrange a fastening element for fastening a fixing of a bowden cable. Furthermore, it is known to arrange the fastening of the bowden cable in the housing and to use, for example, a housing cover of the housing as an additional fastening element, wherein the housing cover not only encloses the fastening region but also prevents the connection from loosening.
The disadvantage here is that the fixing of the bowden cable is both time-consuming and expensive, since a plurality of different components, such as screws or the like, have to be used. If the fixing is based on temporary heating of the material, the corresponding material is subjected to a great load. Furthermore, such a connection cannot be removed without damage after maintenance, for example.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a drainage appliance and a drainage assembly which can be produced simply, quickly and reliably and which can be easily manipulated by a user by means of a remote control and which is easy to maintain.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an alternative drainage fixture and an alternative drainage assembly.
In one embodiment, the invention achieves the above object in a drainage appliance for a basin, in particular for a sanitary basin such as a rinsing basin, comprising a drainage device having an inlet which can be connected to a drain of the rinsing basin and comprising a valve operating device for a valve, and comprising a remote control device which can be connected to the valve operating device by means of a remote control element for actuating the valve operating device such that: the remote control device can be connected to the drainage device by means of a form-locking connection in a detachable manner and without fastening elements.
In one embodiment, the present invention achieves the above object by means of a drainage assembly for a basin, in particular a sanitary basin, comprising a drainage appliance according to any one of claims 1 to 14, and a valve for closing the inlet of the drainage appliance, wherein the valve is operable by means of a remote control.
One of the advantages achieved in this way is that a simple, fast and reliable manufacture and assembly is achieved. Another advantage is particularly easy disassembly and reassembly for maintenance. Furthermore, the production costs are low, since separate fastening elements, such as fastening clips or housing components, can be dispensed with.
The term "sanitary" is to be understood in the broadest sense, in particular in the claims, preferably in the description, generally referring to kitchen areas, bathroom or laundry areas and heating areas.
The term "valve" is to be understood here in the broadest sense and in particular in the claims, preferably in the description, generally means a closure element, in other words a structural element by means of which an opening, in particular a drain opening of a basin, can be opened and/or closed.
Additional features, advantages, and other embodiments of the invention are described below or are set forth in the description which follows.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the form-locking connection is designed as at least one clamping connection. In this way, on the one hand, a reliable assembly of the remote control device on the drainage element is achieved, and on the other hand, a particularly simple and rapid assembly and, if appropriate, disassembly is achieved.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the remote control device can be arranged outside the drainage device in a plane perpendicular to the drainage direction. The benefit of this is that it is easier to achieve.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the remote control device has a guide for the remote control element, wherein the guide can be fastened to the drainage device by means of a positive connection and the remote control element can be connected to the valve actuating device by means of a positive connection. One of the advantages that is possible in this way is a reliable and individual fixing of the remote control element and its guidance.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, one or more connecting elements for providing a positive connection are arranged, in particular formed, on the drainage device. This has the advantage that the number of components required can be reduced. At the same time, a particularly reliable fastening can be achieved by means of a plurality of connecting elements.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the connecting elements each have an opening, in particular substantially circular, oval and/or polygonal, for receiving the remote control device in a form-fitting manner, wherein the respective opening has a lateral recess for inserting the remote control device. The openings in the connecting elements can in particular each have the same shape or can also be designed partially differently. The opening may be designed to be partially circular, partially elliptical, partially polygonal, partially circular, or the like. In summary, the remote control device can be assembled particularly quickly.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, at least one of the connecting elements has at least one fastening projection. Thereby, the reliability of the detachable form-locking connection is further improved.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the lateral recess has a dimension of between 1/8 and 1/2 of the opening circumference, in particular between 1/6 and 1/3 of the opening circumference. The advantage of doing so is that the assembly is simple, need not to increase work load, realizes reliable fixed simultaneously.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the connecting element on the drainage device is made of a ductile material, in particular a synthetic material, in order to provide a positive connection. In this way, the remote control device can be inserted into the connecting element without any effort.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the connecting element is arranged on the side between the inlet of the drainage element and the receptacle for the valve actuating device on the drainage element. This has the advantage of a compact arrangement at the same time, which facilitates access to the fixed area of the remote control device.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the remote control device has a bowden cable for operating the valve operating device. In this way, the valve operating device can be operated in a cost-effective and particularly reliable manner.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the drainage device is designed such that the assembly direction for arranging the remote control unit is oriented parallel to the axis of rotation of the valve operator. This allows for easy assembly or disassembly even under narrow conditions under the tub.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the guide is designed in the form of a sleeve having at least two radial, in particular circumferential, projections. The guide thus provides an element for preventing axial movement in a particularly simple manner.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, at least two of the plurality of connecting elements have different distances from one another. This has the advantage that the flexibility in fixing the remote control is increased.
Other important features and advantages of the present invention are derived from the dependent claims, the drawings and the related description based on the drawings.
It goes without saying that those features mentioned above and yet to be elucidated below can be used not only in the respectively given combination but also in other combinations or alone without departing from the scope of the invention.
Drawings
Preferred designs and embodiments of the present invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and described in more detail in the following description, wherein like reference numerals refer to identical or similar or functionally identical components or elements. Wherein:
fig. 1 shows in schematic form a drainage appliance according to an embodiment of the invention.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows in schematic form a drainage device according to an embodiment of the invention.
In fig. 1, a drainage device 1 is shown. The drainage device 1 has a substantially L-shaped drainage element 10, which drainage element 10 has a short, vertically oriented tube portion 10b and a longer, horizontally oriented tube portion 10c. An inlet 10a for connection to a basin output of a sanitary basin (not shown) is constructed on the shorter pipe section 10 b. The drainage tube 3 is connected to a longer tube portion 10c of the drainage element 10. In the transition region between the two tube sections 10b, 10c, a housing is formed on the short tube section 10b perpendicularly to the orientation of the long tube section 10c and perpendicularly to the orientation of the short tube section 10b, or a holder 4b for receiving a rotatably mounted tappet shaft 4 with a lifting element (not shown), for example in the form of an elongated radial projection, is arranged for opening and closing a valve (not shown) of the outflow opening of the sanitary basin. The tappet shaft 4 comprises a tube portion 4d arranged perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the tappet shaft 4 and projecting parallel to the orientation of the shorter tube portion 10b, which tube portion has a laterally open, essentially circular opening 4a for fastening the bowden cable 2. In this case, it is also conceivable to provide oval, star-shaped and/or polygonal openings. For the axial fixation in the lateral opening 4a, the bowden cable 2 has two radially encircling projections 2a, the distance of which from each other along the bowden cable 2 corresponds to the respective length of the lateral opening 4 a.
In the extension of the axis of the lateral opening 4a, below the inlet 10a, three lateral projections 3a are arranged parallel to each other on the drainage element 10, said lateral projections each having a laterally open and substantially circular opening 3b. The axis of the opening 3b is in extension of the axis of the lateral opening 4 a. In the lateral opening 3b, a sleeve 2c for mechanically guiding the bowden cable 2 is clamped in a clamping direction 6 by means of the detent connection 5. In order to fix the sleeve 2c of the bowden cable 2 in the axial direction, the sleeve has a corresponding circumferential radial projection 2b, which prevents an axial displacement of the sleeve 2c in the lateral opening 3b in the fixed state. In order to increase the reliability of the detent connection 5, the lateral openings 3b each have two radially inwardly projecting projections 3c which serve as retaining elements. The corresponding projection 4c is also arranged on the laterally open opening 4a of the tappet shaft 4.
The protrusions 2a, 2b generally adapt to the shape of the respective openings 4a, 3b. In other words, for example, in the case of a polygonal opening, the projection may also be designed as a polygon or the like.
If the bowden cable 2 is pulled in a state fixed to the drainage element 10, i.e. the projection 2a moves towards the lateral opening 3b of the projection 3a, the tappet faces counterclockwise and the lifting element (not shown) is thereby lowered; the valve is closed. If in turn the bowden wire 2 is now pulled out, i.e. the protrusion 2a is away from the protrusion 3a, the tappet-shaft 4 rotates clockwise, whereby the lifting element (not shown) moves upwards, the valve is pushed upwards and the basin drain is opened.
In summary, at least one embodiment of the present invention has at least one of the following features and/or provides at least one of the following advantages:
the fixing is fast and the cost is low,
the manufacturing is simple and the cost is low,
the remote control device is simply and quickly assembled and disassembled,
the tool-less attachment of the remote control element.
While the invention has been described based on preferred embodiments, the invention is not limited to these embodiments, but can be modified in many different ways.
