本公开涉及与电动车辆和混合动力电动车辆一起使用的电机,并且更具体地涉及电机的热管理。
背景技术
车辆(诸如电池电动车辆和混合动力电动车辆)包含用作能量源的牵引电池组件。例如,牵引电池组件电连接到向驱动轮提供扭矩的电机。牵引电池组件可包括有助于管理车辆性能和操作的部件和系统。它还可包括高电压部件以及用于控制温度的空气或液体热管理系统。
电机通常包括定子和转子,所述定子和转子协作以将电能转换成机械运动,反之亦然。电机可包括用于冷却定子、转子或其两者的热管理系统。
发明内容
根据一个实施例,一种电机包括定子芯,所述定子芯具有外周向表面和从所述外表面径向向外延伸的轴向行的凸起的突出部。所述凸起的突出部彼此轴向间隔开以在其间限定周向通道。壳体限定接收所述定子芯的空腔。所述壳体具有与所述凸起的突出部接触并与所述芯的所述外表面径向间隔开的内周向表面,以限定与所述通道流体连通的空隙空间。所述空隙空间和所述通道配合以形成覆盖所述外周向表面的流体回路,使得所述流体与所述定子芯直接接触。

图1中描绘了示例插电式混合动力电动车辆(PHEV),并且其通常被称为车辆16。车辆16包括变速器12,并且由至少一个电机18在内燃发动机20的选择性辅助下推进。电机18可以是在图1中被描绘为“马达”18的交流(AC)电动马达。电机18接收电力并且为车辆推进提供扭矩。电机18还可以用作发电机,以用于通过再生制动将机械动力转换成电力。
变速器12可以是功率分流式配置。变速器12可以包括第一电机18和第二电机24。第二电机24可以是在图1中描绘为“发电机”24的AC电动马达。像第一电机18一样,第二电机24接收电力并且提供输出扭矩。第二电机24也用作发电机,以用于将机械动力转换成电力并优化通过变速器12的动力流。在其他实施例中,变速器不具有功率分流式配置。
变速器12可包括行星齿轮单元26,其包括中心齿轮28、行星齿轮架30和环形齿轮32。中心齿轮28连接到第二电机24的输出轴以用于接收发电机扭矩。行星齿轮架30连接到发动机20的输出轴以用于接收发动机扭矩。行星齿轮单元26组合发电机扭矩和发动机扭矩,并提供了围绕环形齿轮32的组合输出扭矩。行星齿轮单元26用作无级变速器,其没有任何固定比或“级”比。
变速器12还可包括单向离合器(O.W.C.)和发电机制动器33。O.W.C.联接到发动机20的输出轴,以仅允许输出轴在一个方向上旋转。O.W.C.防止变速器12反向驱动发动机20。发电机制动器33联接到第二电机24的输出轴。可以激活发电机制动器33,以对第二电机24的输出轴和中心齿轮28进行“制动”或防止其旋转。替代地,O.W.C.和发电机制动器33可被取消,并由用于发动机20和第二电机24的控制策略替代。

车辆16包括能量存储装置,诸如用于存储电能的牵引电池52。电池52是能够输出电力以操作第一电机18和第二电机24的高压电池。当第一电机18和第二电机24作为发电机操作时,电池52也从它们那里接收电力。电池52是由若干电池模块(未示出)组成的电池包,其中每个电池模块包含多个电芯(未示出)。车辆16的其他实施例设想了不同类型的能量存储装置,诸如补充或替代电池52的电容器和燃料电池(未示出)。高压总线将电池52电连接到第一电机18和第二电机24。
车辆包括用于控制电池52的电池能量控制模块(BECM)54。BECM 54接收指示车辆状况和电池状况(诸如电池温度、电压和电流)的输入。BECM 54计算并估计电池参数,诸如电池荷电状态和电池电力容量。BECM 54将指示电池荷电状态(BSOC)和电池电力容量(Pcap)的输出(BSOC,Pcap)提供给其他车辆系统和控制器。
车辆16包括DC-DC转换器或可变电压转换器(VVC)10和逆变器56。VVC 10和逆变器56电连接在牵引电池52与第一电机18之间以及电池52与第二电机24之间。VVC 10“升高”或增大由电池52提供的电力的电压电位。根据一个或多个实施例,VVC 10还“降低”或减小提供给电池52的电力的电压电位。逆变器56将由主电池52(通过VVC 10)供应的DC电力转化为AC电力以用于操作电机18、24。逆变器56还将由电机18、24提供的AC电力整流为DC以用于给牵引电池52充电。变速器12的其他实施例包括多个逆变器(未示出),诸如与每个电机18、24相关联的一个逆变器。VVC 10包括电感器组件14。
变速器12包括用于控制电机18、24、VVC 10和逆变器56的变速器控制模块(TCM)58。TCM 58被配置为对电机18、24的位置、转速和功率消耗等进行监测等。TCM 58还监测VVC10和逆变器56内的各个位置处的电参数(例如电压和电流)。TCM 58将对应于此信息的输出信号提供给其他车辆系统。
车辆16包括车辆系统控制器(VSC)60,所述车辆系统控制器与其他车辆系统和控制器通信以用于协调其功能。尽管被示出为单个控制器,VSC 60还可包括可用于根据整体车辆控制逻辑或软件来控制多个车辆系统的多个控制器。
包括VSC 60和TCM 58的车辆控制器通常包括任何数量的微处理器、ASIC、IC、存储器(例如,快闪、ROM、RAM、EPROM和/或EEPROM)和软件代码以彼此共同作用来执行一系列操作。控制器还包括预先确定的数据,或者基于计算和测试数据并存储在存储器内的“查找表”。VSC 60使用公共总线协议(例如,CAN和LIN)通过一个或多个有线或无线车辆连接与其他车辆系统和控制器(例如,BECM 54和TCM 58)通信。VSC 60接收表示变速器12的当前位置的输入(PRND)(例如,驻车、倒车、空挡或行驶)。VSC 60还接收表示加速踏板位置的输入(APP)。VSC 60将表示期望的车轮扭矩、期望的发动机转速以及发电机制动器命令的输出提供给TCM 58;并且将表示接触器控制的输出提供给BECM 54。
车辆16包括用于控制发动机20的发动机控制模块(ECM)64。VSC 60将输出(期望的发动机扭矩)提供给ECM 64,所述输出基于包括APP的多个输入信号,并且对应于驾驶员对车辆推进的请求。
如果车辆16是PHEV,则电池52可经由充电端口66周期性地从外部电源或电网接收AC能量。车辆16还包括车载充电器68,所述车载充电器从充电端口66接收AC能量。充电器68是AC/DC转换器,所述AC/DC转换器将所接收的AC能量转换成适于给电池52充电的DC能量。进而,充电器68在再充电期间向电池52供应DC能量。尽管在PHEV 16的背景下示出并描述,但是应当理解,电机18、24可在其他类型的电动车辆(诸如不包括发动机的混合动力电动车辆或纯电动车辆)上实施。
参考图2和图3,示例性电机70包括具有多个叠片78的定子74。电机70具有中心轴线75。叠片78中的每一个包括正面和背面。当被堆叠时,正面和背面抵靠相邻的正面和背面设置,以形成定子芯80。叠片78中的每一个可限定中空中心。
每个叠片78包括内径84,所述内径限定朝向内径84径向向内延伸的多个齿90。相邻的齿90协作以限定槽92。每个叠片78的齿90和槽92与相邻的叠片对准,以限定在相反的端面111之间轴向延伸穿过定子芯80的定子槽94。端面111限定芯80的相对端,并且由定子芯80的第一叠片和最后叠片形成。多个绕组(也称为线圈、导线或导体)96围绕定子芯80缠绕,并且设置在定子槽94内。绕组96可以设置在绝缘材料(未示出)中。绕组96的部分通常沿着定子槽94在轴向方向上延伸。在定子芯80的端面111处,绕组弯曲成围绕定子芯80的端面111周向延伸,从而形成端部绕组98。虽然被示出为具有分布式绕组,但绕组也可为集中式或发夹型的。
转子72设置在定子74的空腔88内。转子72固定到轴76,所述轴可操作地连接到齿轮箱。当电流被供应到定子74时,形成磁场,从而致使转子72在定子74内旋转,从而产生经由一个或多个轴或齿轮等供应到齿轮箱的扭矩。
芯80包括各自与芯80的中心同心的内径104和外径106。安装耳部108设置在外径106的径向外侧。在所示实施例中,定子芯80包括四个安装耳部108。安装耳部108中的每一个可包括弧形外表面110。定子芯80限定轴向行112的凸起的突出部114,其从外表面106径向向外延伸。在每一行中,所述凸起的突出部114彼此轴向间隔开以在其间限定周向通道116。如在下面更详细地描述的,在冷却回路中使用轴向行的凸起的突出部。在所示实施例中,定子芯80具有八个轴向行112,其中行112与安装耳部108相邻放置。也就是说,与每个耳部108相关联的行112设置在耳部的相对侧上。
凸起的突出部114可以是叠片的一体形成的部分。例如,定子由多个堆叠的叠片形成,所述多个堆叠的叠片包括第一组118和第二组122,所述第一组具有形成突出部114的突出突片120,第二组不包括用于形成通道116的突出突片。所述组中的每一个包括多个叠片。组118和122以多个叠片的群组布置,以形成突出部114和通道116。如图所示,所述群组在定子芯80的纵向方向上交替。第一组118和第二组120两者的叠片包括安装突片121,所述安装突片配合以限定与壳体连接的安装耳部108。如图所示,每个群组中的叠片的数量可以相等,或者替代地可以包括不同数量的叠片,以相对于突出部114的轴向距离增加或减小通道116的轴向距离。在所示实施例中,行112的凸起的突出部114彼此对准,即,位于相同的轴向位置处。
参考图4和图5,定子被接收在壳体130内。在混合动力的情况下,壳体130可以是变速器壳体。替代地,壳体可以是马达壳体,所述马达壳体可以包括或可以不包括附加的动力传动系统部件,诸如齿轮箱、差速器等。壳体130限定空腔132,所述空腔的尺寸被设计成在其中接收定子74。在所示实施例中,空腔132是圆柱形的。
壳体130包括内周向表面134,其具有比芯80的外径(OD)106(不包括突出部114)大的直径(ID)。内表面134与所述凸起的突出部114的顶部128接触并与所述芯80的所述外表面106径向间隔开,以限定与所述通道116流体连通的空隙空间138。所述空隙空间138和所述通道116配合以形成覆盖所述外周向表面106的流体回路140,使得所述流体与所述定子芯80直接接触。冷却流体可以是油诸如变速器流体,或任何其他介电流体。冷却流体与定子芯之间的直接接触可以提高热管理系统的热效率。
壳体130限定至少一个入口端口144,所述入口端口被配置为接收冷却流体。入口端口144可以是穿过壳体被限定并通向流体回路140的孔口。例如,孔口可以从壳体130的外表面延伸到内周向表面134。入口端口144可以设置在壳体130的顶部上,使得在操作期间流体将围绕定子芯80以重力排出。壳体130可以限定位于壳体底部的排放凹槽146。例如,排放凹槽146收集围绕定子芯级联的流体,并且可连接到出口导管等以将流体带回壳体的油底壳以进行再循环。
参考图6和图7,在操作期间,流体150经由入口端口144进入流体回路的顶部。从那里,流体在空隙空间中重新分配并收集在入口凹槽148中。流体从入口凹槽148周向地向左和向右流动以将定子芯80的外径包裹在流体中。然后,流体150遇到第一行112突出部,这迫使流体进入通道116。壳体130限定切口152,所述切口与耳部108配合以在耳部108上方和周围限定流体通道153。然后,流体越过耳部108的另一侧流动并进入下一行112突出部和通道中。
为了防止由于突出部114而引起的流体的条纹流动(参见图7),在壳体130中在选定行的突出部的下游限定重新分配凹槽154。重新分配凹槽154凹入壳体130的内表面中,并且在定子芯80的轴向方向上延伸。重新分配凹槽与空隙空间和通道116流体连通以形成流体回路的一部分。轴向行的凸起的突出部具有上游侧和下游侧,并且其中重新分配凹槽154位于下游侧附近,使得离开通道116的流体流入重新分配凹槽154中。重新分配凹槽从通道116收集流体,将流体存储在其中,然后以均匀的方式将流体释放回空隙空间以减轻上述条纹流动。由凹槽154提供的均匀流动比条纹流动更均匀地覆盖定子芯的外表面,即,更大的表面积,并且因此提供更均匀的冷却。
重新分配凹槽154的径向深度大于壳体130的内表面与芯80的外表面之间的径向距离。重新分配凹槽154可以跨定子芯80的轴向长度的至少90%延伸。在一个或多个实施例中,重新分配凹槽154的轴向长度基本上等于轴向行112的凸起的突出部的轴向长度。在所示实施例中,壳体130限定三个重新分配凹槽,然而,这仅是示例。
上述电机热管理系统使流体直接接触定子芯以增加冷却。定子芯包括安装耳部108和突出部114,以将定子固定在壳体130内。突出部的顶部与壳体130的内表面接合以提供附加的保持以补充安装耳部连接。与限定在突出部之间的通道116配合的重新分配凹槽允许围绕定子芯的外表面的均匀流动,即使定子芯经由突出部直接接触壳体也是如此。

Claims (15)

1.一种电机,其包括:

10.如权利要求9所述的电机,其中所述壳体限定接收所述安装耳部的切口,其中所述切口与所述安装耳部配合以限定与所述空隙空间和通道流体连通的流道以形成所述流体回路的一部分。
11.如权利要求8所述的电机,其中所述第一组和所述第二组包括相同数量的叠片。
12.如权利要求1所述的电机,其中所述壳体限定与所述空隙空间流体连通的一个或多个流体供应孔口。
13.如权利要求1所述的电机,其中所述壳体限定凹入所述壳体的所述内周向表面中并且在所述定子芯的轴向方向上延伸的排放凹槽。
14.如权利要求1所述的电机,其还包括:
绕组,所述绕组支撑在所述定子芯上;和
转子,所述转子被支撑以在所述定子芯内旋转。
15.一种电机,其包括:
定子,所述定子具有芯和支撑在所述芯上的绕组,所述芯包括一行凸起的突出部,所述一行凸起的突出部在所述芯的轴向方向上交替以在其间限定周向通道;和
壳体,所述壳体限定空腔,所述空腔接收所述定子芯,其中所述突出部与所述空腔的壁接合,其中所述空腔和所述芯配合以限定与所述通道流体连通的空隙空间,以形成与所述定子芯直接接触的流体回路。
