Background
The heating cigarette is a novel tobacco product designed in a heating and non-burning mode, and the tobacco containing feed liquid is heated to a certain temperature by utilizing a heating appliance, so that consumers can enjoy pleasure and satisfaction brought by key components such as tobacco aroma and nicotine, tar and harmful compounds generated by high-temperature combustion are avoided, and side-stream smoke is basically avoided, and the public environment is not influenced (generally lower than 350 ℃). In recent years, many tobacco manufacturing enterprises and research institutions have focused their attention on the field of heating cigarettes with good results.
With the rapid development of new tobacco, heating cigarette products are increasingly paid attention to the tobacco industry, and research and development of hybrid heating cigarettes is one of important subjects for developing international markets. Burley tobacco is an important raw material for mixed cigarettes and cigars, and the strong aroma of burley tobacco has a great influence on the quality of products. Compared with the traditional cigarette combustion state, the heating temperature of the heated cigarette is lower, the released aroma quantity is obviously reduced, and the mixed aroma characteristic is difficult to be highlighted. Therefore, the quality of the burley tobacco aroma is further improved, and the burley tobacco aroma has important significance for developing mixed heating cigarette products.
Tobacco flavour substances play an important role in the quality of tobacco leaves and cigarettes, where maillard reaction products are critical for the production of unique aromas of burley tobacco. The fermentation technology can effectively promote the reaction and degradation of the fragrance precursor substances in the burley tobacco, improve the fragrance quality in the cigarette smoke and enhance the characteristics of tobacco leaves. However, the current tobacco leaf fermentation technology generally needs more than 10 days, which restricts the application of the fermentation technology in industrial production.
