Optionally, the preset period of time is a period of time from start to end of a service request flow predicted by the access network device.
It should be noted that the service request response is a step in the service request flow (service request procedure), and the service request response is sent to the terminal to inform that the service request is successful or failed.

Suspending the first paging procedure may alternatively be referred to as deferring the first paging procedure.
In the embodiment of the application, under the condition that the target geographic area corresponding to the first paging procedure does not meet the network coverage condition, the access network equipment considers that the first paging procedure is a paging procedure with high probability of failure or certain failure, and the access network equipment suspends or stops the first paging procedure, thereby reducing the waste of resources caused by the paging procedure.
Alternatively, the access network device may buffer downlink signaling or downlink data during suspension of the first paging procedure.

the target geographic area currently has satellite coverage but satellite coverage of the target geographic area is about to be lost; wherein the impending loss of satellite coverage of the target geographic area can be understood as: satellite coverage for the target geographic area will be predictably lost or, alternatively, satellite coverage for the target geographic area will be lost as planned.
The "satellite network" is a network to which a terminal accesses through a satellite or a network relayed through a satellite. The "network coverage" mentioned in the embodiments of the present application may be referred to as "cell coverage" or "satellite cell coverage", which is not specifically limited herein. The satellite cell is a cell of a terminal accessing a network through a satellite, or a target cell, or a target registration area, or a target service area.
In at least one embodiment of the present application, the first paging procedure is used for paging the target terminal.

In summary, in the embodiment of the present application, when the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition, the paging procedure of the target geographic area is considered to be a paging procedure that is successful with a high probability or a certain success, and in this case, the access network device sends the paging message; and under the condition that the target geographic area does not meet the network coverage condition, the access network equipment considers the paging process to be a paging process with high probability of failure or certain failure, and the access network equipment suspends or stops the paging process, so that the waste of resources caused by the paging process is reduced.
The execution body of the paging message sending method provided by the embodiment of the application can be the paging message sending device. In the embodiment of the present application, a method for sending paging messages by using a paging message sending device is taken as an example, and the paging message sending device provided in the embodiment of the present application is described.
As shown in fig. 7, an embodiment of the present application further provides a sending device 700 of a paging message, including:

It should be noted that, the paging message sending device provided in the embodiment of the present application is a device capable of executing the foregoing paging message sending method, and all embodiments of the foregoing paging message sending method are applicable to the device, and the same or similar beneficial effects can be achieved.

The sending device of the paging message in the embodiment of the application can be an electronic device, for example, an electronic device with an operating system, or can be a component in the electronic device, for example, an integrated circuit or a chip. The electronic device may be a terminal, or may be other devices than a terminal. By way of example, terminals may include, but are not limited to, the types of terminals 11 listed above, other devices may be servers, network attached storage (Network Attached Storage, NAS), etc., and embodiments of the application are not specifically limited.
The paging message sending device provided by the embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented by the method embodiments of fig. 1 to fig. 6, and achieve the same technical effects, and in order to avoid repetition, a detailed description is omitted here.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 9, the embodiment of the present application further provides a communication device 900, including a processor 901 and a memory 902, where the memory 902 stores a program or an instruction that can be executed on the processor 901, for example, when the communication device 900 is a core network device, the program or the instruction is executed by the processor 901 to implement each step of the foregoing embodiment of the method for sending a paging message, and the same technical effects can be achieved. When the communication device 900 is an access network device, the program or the instruction, when executed by the processor 901, implements the steps of the foregoing embodiments of the sending method of the paging message, and can achieve the same technical effects, so that repetition is avoided, and no further description is given here.
The embodiment of the application also provides network side equipment, which comprises a processor and a communication interface, wherein the processor is used for sending a paging message to the access network equipment corresponding to the target terminal by the core network equipment under the condition that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition; the target geographic area is an area where a target terminal is actually located or an area where the core network equipment presumes that the target terminal is located. The network side device embodiment corresponds to the network side device method embodiment, and each implementation process and implementation manner of the method embodiment can be applied to the network side device embodiment, and the same technical effects can be achieved.
Specifically, the embodiment of the application also provides network side equipment. As shown in fig. 10, the network side device 1000 includes: a processor 1001, a network interface 1002, and a memory 1003. The network interface 1002 is, for example, a common public radio interface (common public radio interface, CPRI).
Specifically, the network side device 1000 of the embodiment of the present application further includes: instructions or programs stored in the memory 1003 and executable on the processor 1001, the processor 1001 calls the instructions or programs in the memory 1003 to execute the method executed by each module shown in fig. 7, and achieve the same technical effect, so that repetition is avoided, and therefore, the description is omitted here.
The embodiment of the application also provides network side equipment, which comprises a processor and a communication interface, wherein the communication interface is used for receiving paging messages sent by core network equipment; the processor is used for sending the paging message to the target terminal under the condition that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition; and the target geographic area is the area where the target terminal is actually located or the access network equipment presumes the area where the target terminal is located. The network side device embodiment corresponds to the network side device method embodiment, and each implementation process and implementation manner of the method embodiment can be applied to the network side device embodiment, and the same technical effects can be achieved.
Specifically, the embodiment of the application also provides network side equipment. As shown in fig. 11, the network side device 1100 includes: an antenna 111, a radio frequency device 112, a baseband device 113, a processor 114 and a memory 115. The antenna 111 is connected to a radio frequency device 112. In the uplink direction, the radio frequency device 112 receives information via the antenna 111, and transmits the received information to the baseband device 113 for processing. In the downlink direction, the baseband device 113 processes information to be transmitted, and transmits the processed information to the radio frequency device 112, and the radio frequency device 112 processes the received information and transmits the processed information through the antenna 111.
The method performed by the network side device in the above embodiment may be implemented in the baseband apparatus 113, where the baseband apparatus 113 includes a baseband processor.
The baseband apparatus 113 may, for example, include at least one baseband board, where a plurality of chips are disposed, as shown in fig. 11, where one chip, for example, a baseband processor, is connected to the memory 115 through a bus interface, so as to call a program in the memory 115 to perform the network device operation shown in the above method embodiment.
The network-side device may also include a network interface 116, such as a common public radio interface (common public radio interface, CPRI).
Specifically, the network side device 1100 of the embodiment of the present application further includes: instructions or programs stored in the memory 115 and capable of running on the processor 114, the processor 114 invokes the instructions or programs in the memory 115 to perform the method performed by the modules shown in fig. 8, and achieve the same technical effects, and are not repeated here.
The embodiment of the application also provides a readable storage medium, on which a program or an instruction is stored, which when executed by a processor, implements each process of the foregoing paging message sending method embodiment, and can achieve the same technical effect, so that repetition is avoided, and no further description is provided herein.
Wherein the processor is a processor in the terminal described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes computer readable storage medium such as computer readable memory ROM, random access memory RAM, magnetic or optical disk, etc.
The embodiment of the application further provides a chip, the chip comprises a processor and a communication interface, the communication interface is coupled with the processor, the processor is used for running a program or instructions, the processes of the above-mentioned paging message sending method embodiment are realized, the same technical effects can be achieved, and in order to avoid repetition, the description is omitted here.

The embodiments of the present application further provide a computer program/program product, where the computer program/program product is stored in a storage medium, and the computer program/program product is executed by at least one processor to implement each process of the foregoing embodiments of the method for sending paging messages, and the same technical effects are achieved, so that repetition is avoided and details are not repeated herein.

Claims (49)

1. A method for sending a paging message, comprising:
under the condition that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition, the core network equipment sends a paging message to the access network equipment corresponding to the target terminal;
the target geographic area is an area where the target terminal is actually located or an area where the core network equipment presumes that the target terminal is located.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the target geographic area meeting network coverage conditions comprises:
the target geographic area is covered by a satellite network;
or,
the target geographic area is covered by a satellite network until the core network equipment sends a service request response;
or,
the target geographic area is covered by a satellite network for a preset period of time.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:
and under the condition that the target geographic area does not meet the network coverage condition, the core network equipment does not send the paging message to the access network equipment.
4. A method according to claim 3, characterized in that the method further comprises:
the core network device performs a first operation comprising at least one of:
suspending a paging timer corresponding to the paging message;
determining a first duration of not sending the paging message;
transmitting the paging message to the access network device after the first duration expires;
and sending a paging failure indication.
5. A method according to claim 1 or 3, characterized in that the method further comprises:
the core network device determines whether the target geographic area satisfies the network coverage condition.
6. A method according to claim 3, characterized in that the method further comprises:
and the core network equipment sends a paging message to the access network equipment under the condition that the core network equipment determines that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition.
7. A method according to claim 3, characterized in that the method further comprises:
the core network equipment receives second information, wherein the second information indicates that the target geographic area does not meet the network coverage condition;
and the core network equipment determines that the target geographic area does not meet the network coverage condition according to the second information.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein the second information comprises at least one of:
notifying first notification information that the target geographical area does not satisfy the network coverage condition;
notifying the core network device of second notification information that does not send the paging message;
notifying the core network equipment of third notification information of a paging timer corresponding to the suspension paging message;
fourth notification information notifying the core network device not to transmit the second duration of the paging message;
and the core network equipment is notified of fifth notification information of the paging message after the second duration is over.
9. A method according to claim 3, characterized in that the method further comprises:
the core network equipment receives third information sent by the access network equipment; the third information includes at least one of:
Notifying a sixth notification information that the target geographical area satisfies the network coverage condition;
notifying the core network device to send seventh notification information of the paging message;
and notifying the core network equipment to recover or start the eighth notification information of the paging timer corresponding to the paging message.
10. The method of claim 5, wherein the core network device determining whether the target geographic area satisfies the network coverage condition comprises:
the core network equipment receives ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information sent by the access network equipment; the real-time satellite network effective information comprises: indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers a target geographical area and/or time indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers the target geographical area; the ephemeris information includes: at least one of satellite orbit information, satellite position information, and satellite velocity information;
and the core network equipment determines whether the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition according to the ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein before the core network device receives ephemeris information or real-time satellite network availability information sent by the access network device, the method further comprises:
The core network device sends query information to the access network device, wherein the query information is used for querying whether a target geographic area meets the network coverage condition;
the core network device receives ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information sent by the access network device, and the method comprises the following steps:
and the core network equipment receives ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information sent by the access network equipment based on the query information.

Analysis information of association relation between a cell and a target geographic area;
analysis information of association relation between the terminal and the target geographic area;
and analyzing information of the association relation between the satellite and the target geographic area.
15. Method according to claim 13 or 14, wherein the core network device obtains analysis information related to the target geographical area from a network data analysis function NWDAF network element, comprising:
the core network device subscribes to events related to a target geographic area from an NWDAF network element;
and the core network equipment receives analysis information related to a target geographic area, which is reported to the core network equipment by the NWDAF network element according to the subscription information of the core network equipment.
16. Method according to claim 13 or 14, wherein the core network device obtains analysis information related to the target geographical area from a network data analysis function NWDAF network element, comprising:
the core network device sends a request message to the NWDAF network element, wherein the request message is used for requesting analysis information related to a target geographic area;
and the core network equipment receives a request response message sent by the NWDAF network element, wherein the request response message carries analysis information related to a target geographic area.
17. A method for sending a paging message, comprising:
the access network equipment receives paging information sent by the core network equipment;
the access network equipment sends the paging message to a target terminal under the condition that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition; and the target geographic area is the area where the target terminal is actually located or the access network equipment presumes the area where the target terminal is located.
18. The method of claim 17, wherein the target geographic area meeting network coverage conditions comprises:
the target geographic area is covered by a satellite network;
or,
the target geographic area is covered by a satellite network until the access network equipment sends a service request response;
or,
the target geographic area is covered by a satellite network for a preset period of time.
19. The method of claim 17, wherein the method further comprises:
and under the condition that the target geographic area does not meet the network coverage condition, the access network equipment does not send the paging message to the target terminal.
20. The method of claim 19, wherein the method further comprises:
The access network device performs a second operation, the second operation comprising at least one of:
determining a second duration of not sending the paging message;
after the second duration is determined to be over, sending the paging message to the target terminal;
sending first notification information for notifying that a target geographic area does not meet the network coverage condition to core network equipment;
transmitting second notification information for notifying the core network device that the paging message is not transmitted to the core network device;
transmitting third notification information for notifying the core network device to pause the paging timer corresponding to the paging message to the core network device;
transmitting fourth notification information for notifying the core network device of a second duration for which the paging message is not transmitted to the core network device;
transmitting fifth notification information for notifying the core network device that the paging message is transmitted after the second duration is over to the core network device;
transmitting ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information to core network equipment; the real-time satellite network effective information comprises: indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers a target geographical area and/or time indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers the target geographical area; the ephemeris information includes: at least one of satellite orbit information, satellite position information, and satellite velocity information.
21. The method according to claim 19 or 20, characterized in that the method further comprises:
in the case that the access network device determines that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition, the access network device executes a third operation; the third operation includes at least one of:
sending the paging message to a target terminal;
transmitting third information to the core network equipment; the third information includes at least one of:
notifying the core network device to send seventh notification information of the paging message;
and notifying the core network equipment to recover or start the eighth notification information of the paging timer corresponding to the paging message.
22. The method of claim 17, wherein the method further comprises:
the access network equipment sends ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information to the core network equipment; the real-time satellite network effective information comprises: indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers a target geographical area and/or time indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers the target geographical area; the ephemeris information includes: at least one of satellite orbit information, satellite position information, and satellite velocity information.
23. The method of claim 22, wherein before the access network device sends ephemeris information or real-time satellite network availability information to the core network device, the method further comprises:
the access network equipment receives query information sent by the core network equipment, wherein the query information is used for querying whether a target geographic area meets the network coverage condition;
the access network device sending ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information to the core network device, comprising:

determining a first duration of not sending the paging message;
transmitting the paging message to the access network device after the first duration expires;
and sending a paging failure indication.

a first determining module configured to determine whether the target geographic area satisfies the network coverage condition.
29. The apparatus of claim 26, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

and the core network equipment is notified of fifth notification information of the paging message after the second duration is over.

the first receiving sub-module is used for receiving ephemeris information or real-time satellite network effective information sent by the access network equipment; the real-time satellite network effective information comprises: indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers a target geographical area and/or time indication information indicating whether the satellite network covers the target geographical area; the ephemeris information includes: at least one of satellite orbit information, satellite position information, and satellite velocity information;

a sixth processing module, configured to execute a third operation when the access network device determines that the target geographic area meets the network coverage condition; the third operation includes at least one of:
sending the paging message to a target terminal;
transmitting third information to the core network equipment; the third information includes at least one of:
notifying a sixth notification information that the target geographical area satisfies the network coverage condition;
notifying the core network device to send seventh notification information of the paging message;
and notifying the core network equipment to recover or start the eighth notification information of the paging timer corresponding to the paging message.
46. The apparatus of claim 41, further comprising:
