Background
At present, the termites are large-pollution animals for human beings, which not only destroy forestry, agriculture and animal husbandry, spoil grains and damage dykes and dams, cause serious economic loss, but also can spread various diseases and harm the health of people, and cause serious threat to people; the termites mainly eat crops and trees in farmlands, plastic, rubber products and the like are damaged objects, cable jackets for protecting power transmission and the like often damage the termites by biting, so that large-area power failure of cities is caused, and the termites sometimes happen. The phenomenon that the cable is damaged by rats and ants is quite common, and huge economic loss is brought to national economy construction.
In the existing research of optical cable rat-proof and insect-repellent, there are repellent methods such as adding chemical components into the sheath, and the common methods include peppery taste element, terpenoid compound, pyrethroid compound, etc. However, most of the active ingredients of the repellent have strong irritation and environmental toxicity to human bodies, and are not suitable for being used in the living areas of human beings; the maintenance of later-stage staff is not facilitated; and the medicament has strong volatility and long-lasting effect.
Therefore, how to develop a cable protective cover material which is friendly to human body and environment and effectively repels termites is a problem to be solved by those skilled in the art.
