The difficulty in strengthening the walls of small holes is that the strengthening tool is generally difficult to extend into the holes because of the small diameter of the small holes, so that radial impact strengthening is performed on the walls of the holes, a certain inclination angle is required to be maintained for strengthening, and the larger the depth-to-diameter ratio is, the larger the inclination angle is, the poorer the strengthening effect and the controllability are.
