Description

Functional cat food added with extract residues of psyllium and periplaneta americana
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of pet food, and particularly relates to functional cat food added with extract residues of psyllium and periplaneta americana.
Background
Cat food is a general term of food for cats, and generally has the function of supplementing nutrition required by growth and development of cats, but little substance with functional effect is added in general cat food on the market besides the essential elements for growth and development.
In recent years, the number of animals to be raised is increasing, and the problems of animal health and raising are attracting more attention. Among them, renal failure is a common cause of cat, and especially chronic renal failure is unrecoverable, so prevention and early treatment are the most effective methods. In addition, the alimentary canal of the cat is very sensitive and fragile, and the situation of soft stool is easy to occur, and the soft stool can be effectively reduced by adding the periplaneta americana extract residues.
The psyllium has rich nutrition, contains high protein (content of 64%), low fat (content of 9.7%), and contains various essential amino acids, vitamins and microelements, and the vitamin A, B is beneficial to metabolism; the crust and coleopteran are rich in nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, selenium, zinc, sugar amine and the like, and are typical foods with high protein, low fat and low cholesterol. In addition, the psyllium has higher medicinal value, and the functions of nourishing and strengthening, reinforcing kidney and reducing urination, treating infantile enuresis and treating urgent urination and frequent urination of old people are recorded in the 'materia medica schema of materia medica', the 'Chinese animal medicine resource', the 'Chinese animal medicine', and the like. Experiments are carried out on the protective effect of the psyllids on the kidney function of chronic nephritis by university, and the superior protective effect of the psyllids on the kidney function is proved (Zhang Jingna and the like, the protective effect of the side edge true psyllids extract CL on the kidney function of the rat with chronic nephritis caused by doxorubicin is proved, 2019 (8): 1248-1252.).
The periplaneta americana has extremely high edible value and medicinal value. With intensive research, periplaneta americana was found to be rich in active. Pharmacological research results show that the periplaneta americana has good effects in improving immunity, resisting bacteria, resisting inflammation, resisting tumors, promoting tissue repair and the like, can effectively reduce soft stool, improve immunity, improve stomatitis and promote healing, and can achieve the function of improving gastrointestinal health of cats. Meanwhile, the residue of the American cockroach extract as a protein feed or feed additive does not affect the food intake of animals (Long Jianling, etc., the effect of the residue of the American cockroach drug on the growth performance and immune function of mice 2022 (23): 91-93,98.).
No functional cat food added with the extract residues of the psyllium and the periplaneta americana has been found.

The ratio of the formula of the cat food is controlled within a certain feasible range, wherein the following experiment is carried out in order to verify the protection effect of the added extract residues of the psyllids and the periplaneta americana on the kidneys of the cats and the effect of reducing the formation of soft feces of the cats.
The experiment sets up control group and experiment group, and control group and experiment group used cat variety and age the same, in order to observe experimental effect, selects to use the clinical diagnosis to be chronic nephritis accompanied with soft just formed cat, establishes respectively as control group, experiment 1 group, experiment 2 group, experiment 3 group, experiment 4 group, five animals of every group. Wherein, the control group eats common cat food on the market, and the experimental group eats the cat food of experimental example 3 added with the extract residues of the psyllids and the periplaneta americana. The experiment selects to feed each group of cats in an isolated way, and controls the occurrence of differences such as environment and diet intercommunication.
After 28 days of feeding, the kidney function of each cat was examined and compared, and the results are shown in Table 3. On day 0, blood indexes, biochemical indexes (creatinine, urea nitrogen) and soft stool conditions related to kidney functions of the cats in the control group and the experimental group are not obviously improved. On day 28, the experimental group and the control group were analyzed, wherein the blood index and the biochemical index of the experimental group cat related to the kidney function were improved, the formation of soft stool was reduced, and the mental activity was improved. The control group had no significant change in cat.
