Description

Solid bait containing insect growth regulator, and preparation method and application thereof
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of pest control, in particular to a solid bait containing an insect growth regulator, a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
The solenopsis invicta is originally distributed in south america, and has the characteristics of high reproduction rate, extremely strong vitality, fierce habit, large harm, quick spread, difficult control and the like, and is strictly prevented by classifying the solenopsis invicta as serious quarantine pests in multiple countries. Once the termites enter a new area, the population quantity can expand rapidly due to lack of control of natural enemies and other factors, and the termites can be in disaster outbreak in a short time, so that safety of people and livestock invading the ground, agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry production, ecological balance and economic development are seriously affected.
One of the important domestic means for preventing and controlling solenopsis invicta is a poison bait trapping method, and the main components of the poison bait trapping method are foodstuff and pesticide for killing. The poison bait is moved back into the ant nest by foraging of the workers, and other members die by poisoning through the actions of cross feeding and poison transmission, so that the population density of the solenopsis invicta is reduced, and the prevention and control effects are achieved.
At present, a part of bait pesticides for preventing and controlling solenopsis invicta have the advantages that the residual components pollute water, soil and the like while playing a role in prevention and control, have different degrees of toxicity on non-target organisms such as fish, shrimp and bees, are extremely easy to damage ecological balance, and do not accord with the environment-friendly, environment-friendly and sustainable concepts; in addition, some quick-acting pesticides can quickly kill part of workers in a short period of time, but the toxicity is not thoroughly transferred, wherein when a large number of workers in a population die, an undestroyed ant colony is generally abandoned, a new nest is built, the killing effect is very good on the surface, but the aim of controlling the solenopsis invicta cannot be achieved in practice, the efficacy is faster, the food refusal phenomenon is easy to produce, and the prevention and control effect is affected after the active ingredients are transferred to the workers with the reproduction function. In addition, the number of the products for preventing and controlling the solenopsis invicta in China is small, the product is relatively single, the product is not suitable for the comprehensive prevention and control of the solenopsis invicta, and the product is not beneficial to delay the drug resistance of the solenopsis invicta.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to avoid damage to the environment caused by the bait, improve the control effect of the solenopsis invicta and delay the drug resistance of the solenopsis invicta, the application provides a solid bait containing an insect growth regulator, and a preparation method and application thereof.
In a first aspect, the present application provides a solid bait formulation comprising an insect growth regulator, according to the following technical scheme: a solid bait containing insect growth regulator comprises the following components in parts by weight: 60-70 parts of wheat bran, 10-15 parts of maltose, 5-10 parts of grease, 0.1-3 parts of insect growth regulator, 5-15 parts of protein source and 1-5 parts of preservative.
The solid bait is prepared from wheat bran, maltose, grease, insect growth regulator, protein source and preservative, has good trapping and killing effects on solenopsis invicta, is safe, low in toxicity, environment-friendly and free of interactive resistance, has good trapping and palatability, is not fast in death rate, is not easy to produce antifeedant, and has the advantages of high control rate, simplicity and convenience in operation and the like, and has good application prospect.
The application adopts the maltose as an auxiliary agent and the maltose as one of the saccharide substances, so that the feeding performance of the solenopsis invicta on the bait can be improved, and the control effect is improved; and the maltose has certain viscosity, and can protect the effective components from being diluted by moisture when being mixed into the solid bait, so that the stability of the solid bait is ensured.
Optionally, the composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 63.75-67 parts of wheat bran, 10-15 parts of maltose, 5-10 parts of grease, 0.25-2 parts of insect growth regulator, 10-15 parts of protein source and 1-2.5 parts of preservative.
Optionally, the insect growth regulator is S-methoprene.
S-methoprene is an artificially synthesized chiral compound with bioactivity, has similar structure and same function as natural insect juvenile hormone JH-III, belongs to Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) biochemical pesticides, and can prevent larvae from being successfully changed into adults by interfering the normal growth process of target organisms, thereby achieving the purpose of controlling population on a large scale.
The molecular structure of S-methoprene is C, H, O element, is low molecular weight trans-unsaturated fatty acid ester, and can be attenuated rapidly under ultraviolet rays, and its metabolite in animals and environment is CO 2 The bait has no residue, is safe to mammals and non-target organisms, is relatively safe to aquatic organisms, can not generate adverse effects on other non-target organisms after being dragged into a formicary, and can be suitable for various occasions.
The wheat bran adopted by the application is the seed coat left after wheat is ground into flour, is a material which is easy to obtain and is common, is light and thin and easy to carry, has a good attracting effect on solenopsis invicta, and is easy to prepare a preparation with other component raw materials. In addition, the wheat bran contains active polysaccharide and phenolic compounds, and the wheat bran and the S-methoprene are combined to slow down the degradation of the S-methoprene and improve the stability of the S-methoprene by combining the characteristics of looseness and porosity of the wheat bran.
Optionally, the protein source is bone meal or insect meal.
Optionally, the grease is one or a combination of more of soybean oil, peanut oil, rapeseed oil, sesame oil, corn oil, cotton seed oil and wheat germ oil.
By adopting the technical scheme, the attracting effect can be improved, and the foraging time of the solenopsis invicta can be shortened.
Optionally, the preservative is a combination of one or more of sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and propyl paraben.
As the solid bait contains substances such as cereal processed products, saccharides, protein sources and the like in a higher proportion, the solid bait is easy to rot, rot and mildew in a natural state, so that the solenopsis invicta can generate a antifeeding phenomenon. By adding the preservative into the solid bait and selecting one or the combination of sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and propyl benzoate, the mildew of the bait can be effectively delayed, the attracting effect of the bait is ensured, and the action time of the bait is prolonged.
In a second aspect, the present application provides a method for preparing a solid bait containing an insect growth regulator, which adopts the following technical scheme:
the preparation method of the solid bait containing the insect growth regulator comprises the steps of respectively weighing maltose, grease, the insect growth regulator, a protein source and a preservative, dissolving by using a volatile solvent, fully and uniformly mixing all components, and adding wheat bran after the volatile solvent is completely volatilized, and uniformly mixing to obtain the solid bait containing the insect growth regulator.
The solid bait is a uniform loose substance with oily fragrance, has good attractiveness and palatability, can safely and efficiently lure and extinguish the red fire ant nest body, has good ecology, environment and application safety, and is a novel environment-friendly preparation.
Because the wheat bran has the characteristics of looseness and large specific surface area, the wheat bran can be mixed with other components after the volatile solvent is volatilized, and the other components can be effectively dispersed, so that the components in the solid bait are more uniform.
Alternatively, the volatile solvent comprises acetone, n-hexane or n-butanol.
The application adopts the volatile solvent to mix the components except the wheat bran, so that the components except the wheat bran can be more uniformly mixed. The volatile components are completely volatilized after being uniformly mixed with the components other than wheat bran, and are not left in the final product, so the content of the volatile solvent is not limited in the present application, and the components other than wheat bran can be uniformly mixed and volatilized as soon as possible.
In a third aspect, the present application provides an application of a solid bait containing an insect growth regulator, which adopts the following technical scheme:
the use of a solid bait containing an insect growth regulator for controlling solenopsis invicta, the solid bait being evenly applied within a radiation range of 80-120 cm from the center of the nest of solenopsis invicta.
The solid bait is evenly put in a radiation range of 80-120 cm away from the center of a red fire ant nest, foraging workers bring the solid bait containing S-methoprene back to the ant nest to transfer larvae through cross feeding, the S-methoprene plays a role in the larvae, pupae is prevented from becoming the workers and reproductive ants, when all the existing workers die, no new workers are used for replacement, and finally, the ant colony dies due to starvation, so that the aim of eliminating the whole ant nest is achieved. In addition, a large number of reproduction ants can be prevented from migrating to build new nests.
Optionally, the solid bait is put into 10-30 g/formicary.
By putting 10-30 g of solid bait in the radiation range of 80-120 cm at the center of each formic nest, the formic nest control effect of more than 90% can be achieved after 7 weeks of feeding the bait.
In summary, the present application has the following beneficial effects:
1. the solid bait containing the insect growth regulator can prevent and treat solenopsis invicta, is safe, low in toxicity, environment-friendly, free of interactive resistance, good in attractiveness and palatability, low in death rate, not easy to produce antifeedant phenomenon, high in control rate and capable of providing diversified choices for preventing and treating solenopsis invicta.
2. Compared with other quick-acting pesticides, the solid bait has no effect on killing solenopsis invicta due to the fact that the insect growth regulator has slower effect than the traditional chemicals. The number of ant colonies decreased from week 3 and disappeared within 8 to 10 weeks. On one hand, the application has no evasion effect on foraging workers, is not easy to generate antifeeding phenomenon, and is beneficial to ensuring the termite killing effect after the active ingredients are transferred to the termites through the feeding behavior; on the other hand, although the efficacy is slow, the ant colony is prevented from moving nest and rebounding, and the efficient control of the ant colony can be realized.
Detailed Description
S-methoprene belongs to insect growth regulators, and is not used for directly killing larvae or adults by toxicity, but is used for acting on the larvae by juvenile hormone, so that the larvae die in a large amount in the pupae stage, and the larvae cannot be successfully changed into industrial ants and reproductive ants. In view of the above action mechanism, the growth process of insects is inhibited to achieve the purpose of deinsectization.
However, S-methoprene degrades relatively rapidly in soil, particularly under ultraviolet light, to naturally occurring vinegar-derived compounds, which eventually decompose to carbon dioxide and water. Once the S-methoprene in the bait formulation has degraded prior to consumption by foraging workers, the bait formulation loses its effect of interfering with the emergence of young ants.
Based on the above findings, the applicant conducted a great deal of experiments and researches, and found that the bait prepared by compounding wheat bran, maltose, and S-methoprene and other necessary components has more excellent control effect and longer control action time on solenopsis invicta than other bait containing S-methoprene. The present application is based on this.

The other 1 test area was not fed with any bait as a blank control group. The number of active formicary in each test area was investigated 1 time each 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 weeks after the solid bait was put in, and the active formicary control effect was calculated, and the specific results are shown in table 4.
The movable formic nest is judged by the following method: the surface of the formic nest is slightly destroyed by a small wood stick, if more than 3 red fire ants come out within 60 seconds, the formic nest is judged to be active, and if less than 3 red fire ants come out, the formic nest is judged to be inactive.
Active formicary control effect (%) = [1- (M) 0 ×T M 1 )/(T M 0 ×M 1 )]×100%;
Wherein M is 0 Indicating the number of active formicary in the control zone prior to administration; t M 1 Representing the number of active formicary in the test area after the application; m is M 1 Indicating the number of active formicary in the control area after administration; t M 0 The number of active formicary in the test area prior to administration is indicated.

As can be seen from the results of table 4, the solid baits of example 3 and example 4 all reached 90% or more after 9 weeks of administration, demonstrating that the formulations of examples 3 and 4 have excellent control effects on solenopsis invicta. The solid baits of examples 1 to 6 and comparative examples 1 to 4 were each 0 in control effect after 1 week of feeding, indicating that there was no reduction in the number of active ant nests within 1 week, and the solid baits did not reach the termite-killing effect temporarily; the solid baits of examples 1 to 6 and comparative examples 1 to 4 showed a preventive effect after 3 weeks of feeding, indicating that some movable formicary began to die; after 7 weeks of feeding, the solid bait of example 1 has a control effect of more than 70%, and the solid baits of examples 2, 3, 4 and 5 have a control effect of more than 80%; after 9 weeks of feeding, the solid bait control effects of examples 2, 3 and 4 respectively reach 90%, the solid bait control effects of examples 1 and 5 reach 80%, and the solid bait control effect of example 6 reaches 60%; and after 9 weeks, the solid bait of examples 2, 3 and 4 still maintains the control effect above 90%. The control effect of the solid baits of comparative examples 1, 2, 3 and 4 remained at 50% all the time after 7 weeks, indicating that the control effect was general. From this, the solid baits of examples 2, 3 and 4 were superior to those of examples 1, 5 and 6, and the solid baits of examples 1 to 6 were significantly higher than those of comparative examples 1 to 4 and the blank group.
