Abstract
将蜜胺树脂纤维用于制造防火覆盖层。
Description
本发明涉及蜜胺树脂纤维在制造防火覆盖层中的应用。
本发明还涉及防火覆盖层,它们包含:(a)5-95wt%的蜜胺树脂纤维,(b)95-5wt%的选自玻璃纤维,阻燃渣棉(wool),阻燃粘胶纤维和聚芳基酰胺纤维的阻燃纤维,和(c)0-25wt%的填料,一种制造防火覆盖层的方法,一种扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品的方法,一种保护物品免受火灾的方法,以及包含蜜胺树脂纤维的防火覆盖层在扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品以及保护物品免受火灾中的应用。
基于玻璃纤维的防火覆盖层是已知的。使用玻璃纤维的缺点是玻璃纤维呈脆性,且因其易熔而可在火灾中烧穿。
基于聚芳基酰胺的防火覆盖层也是已知的。这类覆盖层的缺点是价格很高。
本发明的一个目的是提供价廉且不脆以及在火灾中不会熔融的防火覆盖层。
我们已发现这一目的通过使用蜜胺树脂纤维来制造防火覆盖层而实现。
我们还发现了一种制造防火覆盖层的方法,一种扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品的方法,一种保护物品免受火灾的方法,一种使用包含蜜胺树脂纤维的防火覆盖层扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品的方法,以及一种使用包含蜜胺树脂纤维的防火覆盖层保护物品免受火灾的方法。
蜜胺树脂纤维例如可由EP-A-93 965,DE-A-2364091,EP-A-221 330或EP-A-408 947中所述方法生产。特别优选的密胺树脂纤维包括90-100mol%的如下混合物作单体链节(A),该混合物基本由30-100mol%,优选50-99mol%,特别优选85-95mol%蜜胺和0-70mol%,优选1-50mol%,特别优选5-15mol%取代的蜜胺I或取代的蜜胺I的混合物组成。
作为另一单体链节(B),特别优选的蜜胺树脂纤维基于单体链节(A)和(B)的总摩尔数含有0-10mol%,优选0.1-2mol%的酚或酚混合物。
特别优选的蜜胺树脂纤维通常可通过使组分(A)和(B)与甲醛或提供甲醛的化合物以蜜胺与甲醛的摩尔比为1∶1.15-1∶4.5,优选1∶1.8-1∶3.0反应,然后纺丝而得到。
适当的通式I的取代的蜜胺是其中X1,X2和X3各自选自-NH2,-NHR1和-NR1R2,但X1,X2和X3不能全为-NH2,且R1和R2各自选自羟基-C2-C10烷基,羟基-C2-C4烷基-(氧杂-C2-C4烷基)n,其中n为1-5,以及氨基-C2-C12烷基的那些。
羟基-C2-C10烷基优选为羟基-C2-C6烷基,如2-羟基乙基,3-羟基正丙基,2-羟基异丙基,4-羟基正丁基,5-羟基正戊基,6-羟基正己基,3-羟基-2,2-二甲基丙基,优选羟基-C2-C4烷基,如2-羟基乙基,3-羟基正丙基,2-羟基异丙基和4-羟基正丁基,特别优选2-羟基乙基或2-羟基异丙基。
羟基-C2-C4烷基-(氧杂-C2-C4烷基)n优选具有n为1-4,特别优选n=1或2,如5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基,5-羟基-3-氧杂-2,5-二甲基戊基,5-羟基-3-氧杂-1,4-二甲基戊基,5-羟基-3-氧杂-1,2,4,5-四甲基戊基,8-羟基-3,6-二氧杂辛基。
氨基-C2-C12烷基优选氨基-C2-C8烷基,如2-氨基乙基,3-氨基丙基,4-氨基丁基,5-氨基戊基,6-氨基己基,7-氨基庚基以及8-氨基辛基,特别优选2-氨基乙基和6-氨基己基,非常特别优选6-氨基己基。
特别适于本发明的取代的蜜胺包括下列化合物:2-羟乙基氨基取代的蜜胺,如2-(2-羟乙基氨基)-4,6-二氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4-二(2-羟乙基氨基)-6-氨基-1,3-5-三嗪,2,4,6-三(2-羟乙基氨基)-1,3,5-三嗪;2-羟基异丙基氨基取代的蜜胺,如2-(2-羟基异丙基氨基)-4,6-二氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4-二(2-羟基异丙基氨基)-6-氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4,6-三(2-羟基异丙基氨基)-1,3,5-三嗪;5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基取代的蜜胺,如2-(5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基)-4,6-二氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4-二(5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基)-6-氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4,6-三(5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基)-1,3,5-三嗪;6-氨基己基氨基取代的蜜胺,如2-(6-氨基己基氨基)-4,6-二氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4-二(6-氨基己基氨基)-6-氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,2,4,6-三(6-氨基己基氨基)-1,3,5-三嗪;或这些化合物的混合物,例如10mol%2-(5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基)-4,6-二氨基-1,3,5-三嗪,50mol%2,4-二(5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基)-6-氨基-1,3,5-三嗪和40mol%2,4,6-三(5-羟基-3-氧杂戊基氨基)-1,3,5-三嗪的混合物。
合适的酚(B)是含有一个或两个羟基的酚类,如未取代的酚类,被选自C1-C9烷基和羟基的基团取代的酚类,以及被两个或三个酚基(phenol group)取代的C1-C4链烷烃,二(羟苯基)砜类或其混合物。
优选的酚包括苯酚,4-甲基苯酚,4-叔丁基苯酚,4-正辛基苯酚,4-正壬基苯酚,焦儿茶酚,间苯二酚,氢醌,2,2-二(4-羟苯基)丙烷,4,4’-二羟基二苯基砜,特别优选苯酚,间苯二酚和2,2-二(4-羟苯基)丙烷。
甲醛通常以浓度例如为40-50wt%的水溶液形式或以在与(A)和(B)反应过程中提供甲醛的化合物形式,例如以固体形式的低聚或聚合的甲醛形式,如多聚甲醛,1,3,5-三噁烷或1,3,5,7-四噁烷(tetroxocane)使用。
优选使用1-50mol%,特别优选5-15mol%,尤其7-12mol%的取代的蜜胺以及通常0.1-9.5mol%,优选1-5mol%的上述酚类之一或其混合物来制造纤维。
特别优选的蜜胺树脂纤维通过常规地使蜜胺,任意性可有可无的取代的蜜胺和任意性可有可无的酚与甲醛或提供甲醛的化合物一起缩聚而生产。所有组分可一开始就存在或可在某一时刻发生一些反应并随后逐步将所得预缩合产物与其他蜜胺,取代的蜜胺或酚混合。
缩聚通常以常规方式进行(参见EP-A-355 760,Houben-Weyl,Vol.14/2,p.357 ff)。
所用反应温度通常为20-150℃,优选40-140℃。
反应压力通常并不重要。该反应通常在100-500kPa,优选在大气压下进行。
该反应可使用或不使用溶剂进行。若使用甲醛水溶液,则通常不加入溶剂。若使用固体形式的甲醛,则通常使用水作溶剂,用量通常基于所用单体总量为5-40wt%,优选15-25wt%。
此外,缩聚通常在pH超过7的范围进行。优选pH范围为7.5-10.0,特别优选8-9。
此外,反应混合物可包括少量常用添加剂如碱金属亚硫酸盐,例如偏亚硫酸氢钠和亚硫酸钠,碱金属甲酸盐,如甲酸钠,碱金属柠檬酸盐,如柠檬酸钠,磷酸盐,多磷酸盐,脲,双氰胺或氨基氰。它们可以纯净的单一化合物或以相互的混合物在缩合反应之前,之中或之后加入,或者不用溶剂或者以水溶液形式。
其他改性剂为胺类以及氨基醇类如二乙胺,乙醇胺,二乙醇胺或2-二乙氨基乙醇。
另外合适的添加剂包括填料和乳化剂。
适当填料的实例包括纤维状或粉状无机增强剂或填料如玻璃纤维,金属粉末,金属盐或硅酸盐,例如高岭土,滑石,重晶石,石英或白垩,以及颜料和染料。所用乳化剂通常为常规的具有长链烷基的非离子,阴离子或阳离子有机化合物。
缩聚可例如在挤出机(参见EP-A-355 760)中以常规方式间歇或连续进行。
纤维以如下方法生产:例如在加入硬化剂,通常为酸如甲酸,硫酸或氯化铵后,在室温下在旋转纺丝设备中通常以常规方式纺丝本发明的蜜胺树脂,然后在加热气氛中完成粗制纤维的固化,或纺丝到加热气氛中,同时蒸发用作溶剂的水并固化缩合产物。这种方法详述于DE-A-23 64091。
防火覆盖层通常通过以常规方式,例如通过粗纺,将蜜胺树脂纤维转变成纱线而制造。纱线优选具有的线性密度为100-200特,特别优选140-160特。然后通常将纱线以常规方式织成织物单位重量为70-900g/m2,优选120-500g/m2的织物。
无纺织物通常可通过在具有交叉网的成网机上加工蜜胺树脂纤维而得到。仅用蜜胺树脂纤维,例如Basofil纤维生产的无纺织物的织物单位重量为30-600g/m2,优选50-450g/m2。
在切割成所需覆盖层尺寸(迄今凭经验仅取决于意欲的用途)后,可通过缝合来加固覆盖层的边沿。
若需要,蜜胺树脂纤维中可加入25wt%以内,优选10wt%以内的常规填料,特别是基于硅酸盐如云母,染料,颜料,金属粉末和消光剂的那些,然后加工成相应的防火覆盖层和无纺织物。
优选的实施方案包括使用金属涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维,优选铝涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维,也可以理解为未涂覆和金属涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维的共混物。更具体地说,铝涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维可以常规方式,例如通过将铝箔或铝化膜粘于蜜胺树脂纤维上或通过使蜜胺树脂纤维进行高真空铝蒸气淀积过程而制备。金属层或特别是铝层的厚度通常选择在10-150μm,优选50-100μm范围内。
在另一优选实施方案中,也可将有或没有金属涂层的蜜胺树脂纤维与盐类,尤其是硅酸盐,特别优选硅酸铝镁,或形成泡沫的物质通过浸渍,刷涂或类似方法混合。
根据本发明,也可加工成防火覆盖层纤维共混物,它们基本包含5-95wt%,优选20-95wt%,特别优选40-95wt%的蜜胺树脂纤维和95-5wt%,优选80-5wt%,特别优选60-5wt%的阻燃纤维。
纤维共混物以常规方式,例如如在Vliesstoffe,Georg Thieme Verlag中所述在常规的纤维共混设备中加工。在一个优选实施方案中,通常从常规长度为1-20cm的短纤维开始。它们通常经运输带送入盖板梳棉机并在其中预混。然后通常在罗拉梳棉机中完成共混,得到絮状网(Waddinglikeweb)。然后通常将所得絮状网进一步加工成纱线或无纺织物,对此可使用纺织工业中常用的方法。
在一个优选实施方案中,所用阻燃纤维为玻璃纤维,阻燃渣棉,阻燃粘胶纤维和聚芳基酰胺纤维,特别优选聚芳基酰胺纤维。优选聚芳基酰胺纤维通过从间-或对苯二甲酸或其衍生物如酰氯与对-或间苯二胺的缩聚产物在溶剂如N-甲基吡咯烷酮,六甲基磷酰胺和浓硫酸或其常规混合物中的溶液纺丝而生产。然后通常将所得长丝纤维切成厚度通常为5-25μm的短纤维。优选的聚芳基酰胺纤维是基于异构的聚对亚苯基对苯二甲酰胺的那些。
本发明还提供包含如下物质的防火覆盖层:(a)95-5wt%,优选95-20wt%,特别优选95-40wt%的蜜胺树脂纤维,(b)5-95wt%,优选5-80wt%,特别优选5-60wt%的选自玻璃纤维,阻燃渣棉,阻燃粘胶纤维和聚芳基酰胺纤维的阻燃纤维,和(c)基于(a)和(b)为0-25wt%,优选0-10wt%的填料,特别是基于硅酸盐的那些,条件是当组分(b)仅包括聚芳基酰胺纤维时组分(c)的量不为0。
在一个优选实施方案中,所用纤维为金属涂覆的,特别是铝涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维。
合适的填料除优选的硅酸盐,特别是云母外,还包括常用填料如染料,颜料,金属粉末和消光剂。
根据本发明,防火覆盖层用于扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品和人。
此外,本发明防火覆盖层用于通过用本发明防火覆盖层覆盖待保护的人和物品并挡住火焰攻击而保护人和物品免受火灾,物品特别是房子和在卡车、火车或轮船上含有可燃物质的容器如公路加油车和煤气容器。
本发明防火覆盖层和无纺织物的优点是按本发明制备的防火覆盖层和无纺织物受热时或与火焰直接接触时不熔融且因此也不滴流,因此防火覆盖层和无纺织物形状稳定且能保持。
实施例
所公开的纤维,网状物和织物所提供的保护作用在用于通过闷烧和燃烧着火源评价软垫座架的可燃性的试验方法(英国标准BS 5852:1990,Section 3,Crib 5)中的试验样品上进行测试。
图1说明测定火焰屏蔽效果的测试装置:木框(1),其前面直接固定对应的本发明试验织物(2)。在织物前面70mm处为Bunsen燃烧器(3),其内焰心(还原区)准确射到试验物品上(气流70l/h)。
该焰心的温度为1200-1300℃。测定火焰射到试验织物(2)上后点着木框(1)所需时间(见下表)。

Claims (12)
1.蜜胺树脂纤维在制造防火覆盖层中的应用。
2.蜜胺树脂纤维在制造防火覆盖层中的应用,其中蜜胺树脂纤维可通过包含如下物质作基本组分的混合物:(A)90-100mol%基本含有如下物质的混合物:
(a)30-100mol%蜜胺和
式中X1,X2和X3各自选自-NH2,NHR1和NR1R2,且X1,X2和X3不都为-NH2,R1和R2选自羟基-C2-C20烷基,羟基-C2-C4烷基-(氧杂-C2-C4烷基)n,其中n为1-5,以及氨基-C2-C12烷基,或蜜胺I的混合物,以及(B)基于(A)和(B)为0-10mol%的未被取代或被选自C1-C9烷基和羟基的基团取代的酚类,被两个或三个酚基取代的C1-C4链烷烃,二(羟苯基)砜类,或这些酚的混合物,与甲醛或提供甲醛的化合物以蜜胺与甲醛的摩尔比为1∶1.15-1∶4.5缩合而得到。
3.5-95wt%蜜胺树脂纤维和95-5wt%阻燃纤维在制造防火覆盖层中的应用。
4.防火覆盖层,包含
(a)5-95wt%蜜胺树脂纤维,
(b)95-5wt%选自玻璃纤维,阻燃渣棉,阻燃粘胶纤维和聚芳基酰胺纤维的阻燃纤维,和

7.一种扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品的方法,包括使用权利要求4或5所述或如权利要求6所制造的防火覆盖层。
8.一种保护物品免受火灾的方法,包括用权利要求4或5所述或如权利要求6所制造的防火覆盖层覆盖物品。
9.包含蜜胺树脂纤维的防火覆盖层在扑灭火焰和燃烧着的物品中的应用,包括用防火覆盖层覆盖火焰或燃烧着的物品。
10.包含蜜胺树脂纤维的防火覆盖层在保护物品免受火灾中的应用,包括用防火覆盖层覆盖待保护的物品。
11.如权利要求4所述的防火覆盖层,其中所用树脂为铝涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维。
12.如权利要求1-3中任一项所述的应用,其中所用纤维为铝涂覆的蜜胺树脂纤维。
