Disclosure of Invention
Technical problem to be solved by the invention
However, as in patent document 1, a cover portion formed by welding 2 sheet metal members on the outer peripheral portion is exposed in an open state, and there is a problem of poor appearance.
However, in recent years, resin members have been used in vehicles in order to reduce weight and improve aesthetic appearance. In the case of the lid device, there is also an increasing number of lid devices including an outer member made of a sheet metal member and a resin member fitted and fixed to the inner side of the outer member.
However, the outer member is composed of 2 members, namely, a thin plate-shaped outer member constituting a part of the outer panel and an outer bracket supporting the resin member, and the outer member and the outer bracket are often fixed by spot welding from the viewpoint of manufacturability.
Therefore, even if the cover part is provided with the resin member, there is still a welded part between the outer member and the outer bracket, and in the open state of the cover part, there is a problem that the welded part is visible, and the aesthetic appearance is impaired.
In addition, in the case where the cover is formed by welding 2 sheet metal members on the outer peripheral portion, the end portions of the sheet metal members may be brought into contact when the cover is opened or closed, which may impair safety and comfort.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a cover device having a cover portion that covers a joint portion such as a welded portion, thereby improving the aesthetic appearance and enabling safe and comfortable opening and closing.
Technical scheme for solving problems
In order to achieve the above object, a cover device according to the present invention is a cover device having a cover portion for opening and closing an opening portion provided in an outer panel of a vehicle, the cover portion including: an outer member that covers the opening and forms a part of the outer panel; an inner member provided so as to cover a rear surface of the outer member, and rotatably coupled to an inner side of the opening portion via a hinge; and an outer bracket provided between the outer member and the inner member and fixing the outer member and the inner member, the outer member having: a folded portion formed by extending an edge portion of an outer peripheral portion of the outer member toward the inner member and folding back toward an inner peripheral side; and a first flange provided on an inner peripheral side of an outer peripheral portion of the outer member, the first flange being erected from the folded-back portion toward the inner member side, the outer bracket having a second flange joined to the first flange and being fixed to the outer member, the inner member having a flange portion fixed to the outer bracket, the flange portion extending from an outer peripheral portion of the inner member toward the outer member side and covering at least an outer peripheral side of a joint portion between the first flange and the second flange.
In this way, in the cover device having the cover portion for opening and closing the opening, the edge portion of the outer peripheral portion of the outer member of the cover portion is folded back toward the inner peripheral side to form the folded back portion, so that safety and comfort can be improved when an operator touches the edge portion of the outer peripheral portion of the outer member.
Further, since the outer peripheral side of the joint portion between the first flange and the second flange is covered by the flange portion of the inner member, the joint portion is not visible even when the lid portion is opened, and the aesthetic appearance of the lid portion can be improved.
Preferably, the inner member is rotatably supported by the hinge at one end of the cover, and a joint portion between the first flange and the second flange is disposed at least on the other end side facing the one end of the cover.
Thus, when the lid is opened by opening and closing the lid with the one end portion to which the hinge is connected as the rotation center, the other end portion of the lid opposite to the hinge is easily seen, and there is a high possibility that the operator will get his or her hands on the lid. Therefore, when the cover is opened and closed in this way, the operator can easily catch his or her hands and easily see the parts, and the safety, comfort and aesthetic appearance can be effectively improved.
Preferably, the inner peripheral edge of the opening of the outer panel is bent toward the inside of the opening and extends toward the inside of the opening, and a cover device for a vehicle is provided with a bracket member that is fitted into the opening and forms a tubular shape in which a first end portion on the opening side abuts on the entire periphery of the inner peripheral edge of the opening, and a receiving portion is formed inside the opening, and the flange portion of the inner member is located on the inner peripheral side than the outer peripheral portion of the outer member and is disposed so as to face the first end portion of the bracket member in the circumferential direction.
Thus, by providing the cylindrical bracket member inside the opening, the aesthetic appearance of the inside of the opening can be improved. Further, by disposing the flange portion of the inner member so as to face the first end portion of the bracket member inward in the circumferential direction, the thickness of the end portion of the cover portion can be suppressed to the thickness of the folded portion.
Preferably, a support panel that is joined to an inner peripheral edge of the opening portion and supports the bracket member is provided in the opening portion, the first end portion of the bracket member is provided so as to cover a joint portion between the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion and the support panel, and an inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel is provided so as to extend toward the vehicle interior by a length corresponding to a thickness of the folded-back portion of the outer member.
Thus, the joint portion between the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion and the support panel is covered by the bracket member, and the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel is extended to the vehicle interior side by a length corresponding to the thickness of the folded-back portion of the outer member, so that the thickness of the folded-back portion of the outer member can be reduced, and the folded-back dimension of the inner peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer panel to the vehicle interior side can be shortened. This can improve the aesthetic appearance of the inner peripheral edge of the opening of the outer panel.
Preferably, the outer member and the outer bracket are formed of sheet metal members, the first flange and the second flange are joined by welding, and the inner member is formed of a resin member and is provided on the back surface side of the outer member so as to cover the periphery of the outer bracket.
Thus, the welded portion between the outer member and the outer bracket, which is formed of the sheet metal member, is shielded by the inner member, and the appearance can be improved.
Preferably, an oil supply port or a power supply port of the vehicle may be housed inside the opening.
In this way, in the cover device having the cover portion for opening and closing the opening portion in which the oil supply port or the power supply port is housed, the coupling portion between the outer member of the cover portion and the outer bracket is shielded by the inner member, thereby improving the aesthetic appearance, and the safety and comfort of the operator when touching the edge portion of the outer peripheral portion of the cover portion can be improved when opening and closing the cover portion.
Effects of the invention
According to the cover device of the present invention, the safety and comfort of the operator when the operator contacts the edge of the outer peripheral portion of the cover, that is, the folded portion of the outer member, can be improved when the cover is opened and closed, and the joining portion of the first flange and the second flange can be shielded by the flange portion of the inner member, thereby improving the aesthetic appearance.

Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the lid 2 at the position of the welded portion 16. Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the outer peripheral portion of the lid 2. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the portion A-A shown in fig. 2. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the portion B-B shown in FIG. 2
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, a first flange 20 protruding inward (inward in the vehicle width direction) is provided at the center portion in the up-down direction of the end portion of the exterior member 10 that becomes the vehicle rear side. Further, second flanges 21 protruding inward (inward in the vehicle width direction) are also provided at both end portions of the outer bracket 11 in cooperation with the first flanges 20 of the outer member 10. The welded portion 16 between the outer member 10 and the outer bracket 11 is located at the first flange 20 and the second flange 21.
The rear end portion of the outer member 10 is folded back toward the inner peripheral side to provide a folded back portion 22, and the first flange 20 is located forward (inner peripheral side) of the rear end of the outer member 10, for example, about 1 cm.
The outer peripheral portion of the inner member 12 is bent outward (outward in the vehicle width direction) toward the outer member 10, and a flange portion 25 extending toward the outer member 10 side is formed. The flange portion 25 is located adjacent to the rear (outer peripheral side) of the first flange 20 of the outer member 10, and is provided so as to cover the welded portion 16. Therefore, the welded portion 16 is not seen from the rear by the flange portion 25 of the inner member 12.
The structure of the cover 2 near the welded portion 16 that is the vehicle front end is also configured in the same manner as the structure of the vehicle rear end described above.
As shown in fig. 4, the outer peripheral end portion of the outer member 10 is bent inward (inward in the vehicle width direction) to form the edge portion 30 at the outer peripheral portion of the cover portion 2 excluding the welded portion 16. The flange portion 25 of the inner member 12 is bent outward toward the outer member 10, and further is bent rearward (toward the outer periphery) at the front end portion thereof. The outer peripheral end 31 of the inner member 12 is located near the front end of the rim 30 of the outer member 10. In fig. 4, the front end of the edge portion 30 of the outer member 10 slightly protrudes inward in the vehicle width direction than the outer peripheral end portion 31 of the inner member 12, but preferably does not protrude inward in the vehicle width direction than the outer peripheral end portion 31.
Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the outer peripheral portion of the lid portion 2 and the outer panel 3 around the same in the closed state. Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the C-C portion shown in fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 1 and 5, a power supply door bracket 40 (bracket member) is provided on the vehicle width direction inner side of the opening 4 of the outer panel 3 of the vehicle. The power supply door bracket 40 is formed of resin, has a cylindrical portion and a bottom plate, and is formed in a box shape that opens to the outside. A power supply port 7 is fixed to the bottom plate of the power supply port bracket 40, and the power supply port 7 is provided in a housing portion formed in the power supply port bracket 40.
As shown in fig. 5, the edge 41, which is the inner peripheral edge of the opening 4 of the outer panel 3, is folded to the inside (vehicle inside) in the vehicle width direction over the entire periphery of the opening 4 by a length (for example, about 5 mm) of the thickness of the folded-back portion 22 of the outer member 10. A vehicle body panel 42 (support panel) for supporting the power supply door bracket 40 is fixed to the edge 41 of the opening 4 of the outer panel 3, for example, by welding or the like. The body panel 42 supports the outer peripheral portion of the power door bracket 40.
The edge 43 (first end) of the cylindrical portion of the power supply door bracket 40 is fitted into the opening 4 of the outer panel 3, and is disposed in contact with or in close proximity to the edge 41 of the outer panel 3. A gap is filled between the edge 43 of the power supply door bracket 40 and the edge 41 of the outer panel 3 by a seal or the like.
As described above, the cover device 1 of the present embodiment has the cover 2 covering the opening 4 of the outer panel 3 having the power supply port 7 therein, and the cover 2 includes: an exterior member 10 of a sheet metal member constituting a part of the outer panel 3; an outer bracket 11 formed of a sheet metal member and supporting the outer member 10; and an inner member 12 formed of a resin member, and are overlapped.
Thus, the inner side of the lid 2 is constituted by the inner member 12 of the resin member, and the aesthetic appearance of the inner side of the lid 2 can be improved.
The outer member 10 and the outer bracket 11 are fixed to each other by spot welding at both ends in the front-rear direction of the lid portion 2 (both ends in the vehicle front-rear direction of the lid portion 2 in the closed state). Since the first flange 20 erected inward (inward in the vehicle width direction of the lid portion 2 in the closed state) on the outer peripheral portion of the outer member 10 and the second flange 21 erected inward (inward in the vehicle width direction of the lid portion 2 in the closed state) on the outer peripheral portion of the outer bracket 11 are welded, the first flange 20 and the second flange 21 can be easily fixed by spot welding.
In the outer member 10 of the present embodiment, since the outer peripheral portion is folded back toward the inner peripheral side to form the folded back portion 22, safety and comfort can be improved when an operator contacts the outer peripheral portion of the outer member 10. Therefore, when the operator wants to contact the end of the lid 2 in order to open and close the lid 2, the operator can ensure safety and comfort by making contact with the folded-back portion 22 of the folded-back shape of the outer member 10.
Further, the outer peripheral portion of the inner member 12 is covered with the flange portion 25 formed by bending the outer peripheral portion toward the outer member 10, and therefore, the welded portion 16 is not visible even when the lid portion 2 is opened, and the aesthetic appearance of the lid portion 2 can be improved.
In particular, since the welded portion 16 between the outer member 10 and the outer bracket 11 is provided on the rear side (the other end portion) of the lid 2 opposite to the hinge 5, the lid 2 can be opened and closed by an operator at a position easily accessible by hand, and safety, comfort and aesthetic appearance can be effectively improved.
The edge 41 of the opening 4 of the outer panel 3 is bent toward the vehicle inside by a length corresponding to the thickness of the folded-back portion 22 on the outer peripheral side of the first flange 20 of the outer member 10, and the end of the box-shaped power supply door bracket 40 made of resin is brought into contact with the front end of the edge 41.
In the present embodiment, the first flange 20 and the second flange 21 are disposed further inward than the outer peripheral end portion of the lid portion 2, which is constituted by the folded-back portion 22 of the outer member 10, so that the thickness of the outer peripheral end portion of the lid portion 2 can be suppressed to the thickness of the folded-back portion 22. Therefore, the edge 41 of the opening 4 of the outer panel 3 can be shortened by matching the thickness of the folded-back portion 22. The edge 41 of the outer panel 3 and the power supply door bracket 40 are separate members, and the gap between the contact portions is filled with a seal or the like, so that the edge 41 of the outer panel 3 is shortened, and the aesthetic appearance of the edge 41 of the opening 4 of the outer panel 3 can be improved in the open state of the lid 2.
The description of the embodiments has been completed above, but the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. For example, in the above embodiment, the welded portions 16 are provided at the front-rear direction both end portions 2 of the lid portion 2, but may be provided at other outer peripheral portions such as the up-down direction end portions. The inner member 12 is formed of resin, but may be formed of other materials. The shapes of the outer member 10, the inner member 12, and the outer bracket 11 may be changed as appropriate, and the detailed portions of the cover device 1 may be changed as appropriate.
In the above embodiment, the first flange 20 of the outer member 10 and the second flange 21 of the outer bracket 11 are joined by welding at the welded portion 16, but may be joined by a method other than welding.
In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to the cover device 1 for opening and closing the power supply port 7 of the vehicle, but the present invention may be applied to a cover device for opening and closing the fuel supply port of the vehicle, or other cover devices. The present invention can be widely applied to a cover device having a cover portion for opening and closing an opening of a vehicle.
