一种抬头显示系统、显示装置，包括:显示单元(1)；分光单元(2)，设置在显示单元(1)的出光侧，被配置为能够透射第一线偏振光，阻挡第二线偏振光:显示单元(1)发出的光线经分光单元(2)后，转换成第一线偏振光；透光基板(4)；第一成像单元(3)，设置在分光单元(2)到透光基板(4)的光路上，被配置为能够透射和反射第一线偏振光；第二成像单元(5)，设置在透光基板(4)远离第一成像单元(3)的一侧，被配置为能够反射透过透光基板(4)的第一线偏振光。能够提高光利用率，降低能耗。
