技术领域

背景技术
旨在用于清洁硬表面(如在厨房和浴室中通常碰到的表面)的多种多样的清洁组合物在本领域是已知的。此外,用于清洁软表面的组合物(如衣物洗涤剂)也是已知的。
这些组合物通常含有表面活性剂、溶剂、螯合剂、碱剂、酸化剂、增溶剂、防腐剂、杀细菌剂、香料、染料和水。
衣物洗涤剂组合物通常还含有:助洗剂、抗再沉积剂、酶、活性氧漂白剂、光学增亮剂、泡沫调节剂和加工助剂。
这些组合物中含有的溶剂在此类型的产品的最终应用中是重要的,因为它直接影响产品在其应用后的清洁性能、易用性、毒性和蒸发。
虽然许多用于清洁组合物的溶剂是可获得的并且在商业上使用,但是本领域仍然需要提供水溶性、增溶活性、容易获得的工艺、毒性和成本的有利组合的新型溶剂。
如果清洁组合物满足一种或多种消费者需求(如良好的增溶活性、低毒性、低成本和优异的清洁性能),则是有利的。诸位发明人现已发现,使用丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇清洁组合物能够显著提高所述清洁组合物的清洁性能。事实上,出人意料地,已经发现,如与标准清洁组合物相比,使用丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇表现出优异的溶剂特性,并且能够提高清洁组合物的清洁性能。
典型地,聚(环氧烷)化合物(如丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇)可以通过文献中已知的方法,使用气-液反应器,通过将气态环氧丙烷进料到含有所述甲醇和碱性催化剂(KOH或NaOH)预先溶解在起始分子中的溶液的反应器中来获得(E.Santacesaria.,“Polyethoxylation and polypropoxylation reactions:Kinetics,mass transfer and industrial reactor design[聚乙氧基化和聚丙氧基化反应:动力学、传质和工业反应器设计]”,Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering[中国化学工程学报]26(2018),第1235-1251页)。
“提高清洁性能”应当理解为根据本发明的组合物能够改善基材上的有机或无机物质像污垢、污物、油、油脂、聚合物、蜡、抛光剂、油墨、粘合剂、胶粘剂、光致抗蚀剂、密封剂、沥青、汁液、涂漆、清漆或其组合的溶解度,该基材为硬表面如瓷砖、金属、混凝土、塑料等,或软表面像由合成或天然纤维制成的皮革或织物。
“提高”或“改善”意指在以下比较中性能具有从6%至121%范围内的提高:与不含丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇的标准清洁组合物相比,含有丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇的清洁组合物;根据实验部分的评估方法,与含有具有两个丙氧基化度的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇的组合物相比,含有具有不同丙氧基化度的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇的清洁组合物。
如果通过援引方式并入本申请的任何专利、专利申请以及公开物的披露内容与本申请的描述相冲突到了可能导致术语不清楚的程度,则本说明应该优先。
发明内容
本发明涉及丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇在用于清洁硬表面和/或软表面的清洁组合物中的用途。
本发明还涉及清洁组合物,这些清洁组合物包含以下组分中的至少一种:
a.丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇,
b.至少一种表面活性剂,
c.至少一种碱化剂或酸化剂,
d.水。
具体实施方式
本发明涉及丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBCPO)在清洁组合物中特别是用于清洁硬表面和/或软表面的用途。
事实上,已经发现丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)是具有优异清洁特性的溶剂,这允许其用于这种应用的组合物中。
“丙氧基化”应当理解为添加到甲醇分子(如甲基异丁基甲醇)中以制备根据式I的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)的衍生自环氧丙烷的重复单元(n个)
在具体的实施例中,丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)在清洁组合物中的用途是用于清洁硬表面如在餐具洗涤、玻璃清洁、烘箱清洁、多用途清洁、浴室清洁、厨房清洁、香味清洁、混凝土清洁和工业去除中,以及还有用于清洁如衣物、皮革或由天然或合成纤维制成的织物的软表面的用途。织物包括织造或非织造织物,例如地毯或纺织品。合成纤维包括聚酯、聚酰胺及其他;天然纤维包括棉、丝、羊毛及其他。
可以通过使用本发明的清洁组合物中的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)处理的表面的非限制性实例是耐火材料的表面,如上釉和非上釉瓷砖、砖、瓷器、陶瓷和石头、大理石、花岗石、石头和其他表面;玻璃、金属、塑料,例如聚酯、乙烯树脂、玻璃纤维、表面、表面和其他用于橱柜和工作表面以及还有墙壁和地板表面的已知硬表面。

丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)在本发明的组合物中的用途提供清洁和减少金属的污渍、锈蚀或其他变色,如由污物和油脂的累积或经处理的金属表面的氧化引起的那些。可以提及的金属的非限制性实例包括铝、铜、钢、不锈钢、黄铜和可包含一种或多种上述金属的金属合金,以及还有具有金属的或金属化的表面的非金属基材。

出乎意料地,诸位发明人已经发现,与含有其他溶剂如丙二醇正丁醚(PnB)、二丙二醇正丁醚(DPnB)、乙二醇正丁醚(EB)、二乙二醇正丁醚(DEB)、丙二醇苯醚(PPh)和d-柠檬烯的标准组合物相比,当用于清洁组合物时,丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO),特别是在含有从1至8种丙氧基化化合物的混合物中,提高了清洁组合物的清洁性能。
清洁性能是根据ASTM D4488-95中描述的测试测量的。
清洁方法,例如从基材上去除如涂料、污垢和/或污渍的物质的方法,包括使该物质与包含丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)的组合物接触,所述方法包括将前述中的至少一种置于进行去除的条件下,例如持续有效溶解和/或剥离该物质的时间;以及将溶解和/或剥离的材料从基材上分离。如本文所用,“溶解”包括材料的部分溶解,通常称为软化,使得材料可以通过冲洗或机械作用进一步从基材上去除。当然,清洁组合物还可以通过使材料分离来至少部分去除。

用清洁组合物处理的基材对清洁组合物具有相当的耐受性,包括天然和合成织物、木材、纸板和涂料纸(特别是如果用蜡或其他保护材料处理)、玻璃、热固性树脂、热塑性树脂、陶瓷、石头、砖石基材、水泥或金属(例如,铝合金、锌合金、不锈钢或镀锌钢)。
当然,使表面与清洁组合物接触的方法可以按多种方式完成,例如以气溶胶形式或其他喷雾装置,如通过标准喷雾嘴;刷涂;浸渍;涂布;以凝胶形式施用如通过挤压瓶或刷子等,但是可以特别提及浸渍和喷雾。如果待清洁表面容易接近,则可以使用喷雾。喷雾压力通常为从1.3巴至8.0巴绝对压力。冲击清洁组合物的机械力有利于物质的去除。另一方面,如果待清洁表面有凹陷或其他不易接近的形状,可以使用浸渍。当然,两种方法可以组合使用和/或以对本领域技术人员来说显而易见的方式变化。在接触期间或之后,可以采用如刮擦、剥落、摩擦、擦拭等机械作用来增加接触和/或帮助溶解和/或剥离。
产生物质从基材上的有效程度的溶解和/或剥离所需的接触时间取决于物质的性质和厚度、清洁组合物的组成(包括成分浓度)、组合物的温度和其他因素。对于一些物质以及在一些条件下,几分钟(例如2-3分钟)至一小时的接触时间可能是足够的。当使用清洁组合物时的工作温度可以为从0至180摄氏度或更高,具体地是15至90摄氏度、或21至55摄氏度。处理最方便地在室温下进行,但是可以根据需要通过加热清洁组合物和/或基材来缩短剥离时间。加热可以通过局部施加热来实现,如用热风枪,或更整体地施加热,如用电加热器、红外加热器等。然而,应当理解,本领域技术人员可以通过最少的实验来确定用于特定去除应用的最佳条件。较高的温度通常会提高物质从表面被去除的速率。
在具体的实施例中,通过使用本发明的清洁组合物,性能的改善意指与标准组合物相比,通过标准ASTM D4488-95测量的清洁性能具有从6%至121%范围内的提高。
本发明还基于清洁组合物,这些清洁组合物包含以下组分中的至少一种:
a.丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇,
b.至少一种表面活性剂,
c.至少一种碱化剂或酸化剂,
d.水。
特别地,甲基异丁基甲醇或二异丁基甲醇可以在制备过程中以不同的程度被丙氧基化,通常在1与30之间。
根据一个优选的实施例,丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)包含从1至14种、优选从1至8种丙氧基化化合物的混合物。
在本发明的另一个实施例中,组合物包含基于清洁组合物的总重量按重量计从0.1%至60%的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)。优选清洁组合物含有按重量计从0.3%至45%的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)。
表面活性剂或表面活性剂的组合是有机物质,其主要特征是它们具有两亲行为,即它们可以与极性物质和非极性物质两者相互作用。这种特性通过这些分子具有疏水区和亲水区来解释。分子的疏水部分与污垢和脂肪相互作用,并且亲水部分与水相互作用,形成球形胶束,其中污垢集中在内部,并且静电力将水保持在外部,因此当用水冲洗基材时,胶束被污垢带走。
表面活性剂的两亲行为使它们能够与不同极性的化合物相互作用,并且可以用作不混溶相的调和剂,因为它具有降低表面张力的能力。这种特征允许形成乳液、泡沫、悬浮液或微乳液,并且还可以用于形成液膜,以及用于润湿和清洁表面。
多种多样的表面活性剂可用于本发明的组合物中,如非离子的、阴离子的、阳离子的和两性离子的表面活性剂、以及它们的混合物。
合适的非离子表面活性剂包括烷基胺氧化物,例如C8-20烷基二甲基胺氧化物、烷基酚乙氧基化物、直链和支链醇乙氧基化物、羧酸酯、烷醇酰胺、烷基多糖苷、环氧乙烷/环氧丙烷的共聚物等。在这些表面活性剂之中,特别优选直链和仲醇乙氧基化物、辛基酚和壬基酚乙氧基化物、烷醇酰胺和烷基多糖苷。可以使用两种或更多种以上表面活性剂的混合物。所有这些表面活性剂都是可商购的。
有用的两性离子/两性表面活性剂包括烷基氨基丙酸、烷基亚氨基丙酸、咪唑啉羧酸盐、烷基甜菜碱、硫代甜菜碱(sulfobetaines)以及磺基甜菜碱(sultaines)。可以使用两种或更多种以上的混合物。所有这些表面活性剂都是可商购的。
有用的阳离子表面活性剂包括伯胺盐、二胺盐、季铵盐以及乙氧基化胺。可以使用两种或更多种以上的混合物。所有这些表面活性剂都是可商购的。
有用的阴离子表面活性剂,优选只与一种非离子表面活性剂结合使用,包括羧酸盐、烷基苯磺酸盐、烷基苯磺酸、仲正链烷磺酸盐、α-烯烃磺酸盐、二烷基氧基二亚苯基磺酸盐、磺基琥珀酸酯、羟乙基磺酸盐、直链醇硫酸盐如烷基硫酸盐(例如月桂基硫酸钠)、直链乙氧基醇硫酸盐、以及烷基苯磺酸盐的水溶性盐。可以使用以上的两种或更多种的混合物。所有这些表面活性剂都是可商购的。
组合物典型地包含基于清洁组合物的总重量按重量计从0.5%至60%的表面活性剂。优选清洁组合物含有按重量计0.8%至45%的表面活性剂。
碱化剂或酸化剂通常存在于清洁组合物中。这些试剂可用于本发明的组合物中,并且可以是能够在可接受的范围内改变组合物的pH的任何化学化合物或化合物的基团。每种组合物中使用的pH由表面活性剂的类型和清洁组合物的应用类型所决定。
优选地,碱化剂选自由以下组成的组:单乙醇胺(MEA)、氢氧化钾、氢氧化钠、三乙醇胺(TEA)和甲基异丙胺(MIPA)。
组合物通常包含基于清洁组合物的总重量按重量计从0.01%至15%的量的碱化剂。优选清洁组合物含有按重量计0.05%至10%的碱化剂。
优选地,酸化剂选自由以下组成的组:柠檬酸、酒石酸、柠檬酸钠和乳酸。
典型地,本发明的组合物包含基于清洁组合物的总重量按重量计从0.05%至10%的量的酸化剂。
本发明的特别优选的清洁组合物包含:基于该清洁组合物的总重量,
a.按重量计从0.30%至45%的作为溶剂的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇,
b.按重量计从0.80%至45%的至少一种表面活性剂,
c.按重量计从0.05%至10%的至少一种碱化剂或酸化剂,
d.按重量计至少30%的水。
本发明的组合物任选地包含其他成分如(此清单并非限制性的)多种磨料颗粒、有机胺、助水溶剂、抗氧化剂、杀生物剂、着色剂、腐蚀抑制剂、消泡剂、染料、酶、香料、光稳定剂、气味掩蔽剂、增塑剂、防腐剂、防锈剂、表面活性剂、增稠剂、污垢悬浮剂、助洗剂或络合剂、漂白剂、漂白活化剂、漂白稳定剂、pH控制剂、织物软化成分、pH调节剂像缓冲剂、香料增溶剂、粘度调节剂、光学增亮剂、遮光剂、防污斑剂和螯合剂。
示例性的助洗剂包括N-二乙二醇-N,N-二乙酸(DID A)、多磷酸盐(例如焦磷酸钾)、次氮基三乙酸盐(例如Na3NTA)、乙二胺四乙酸钠(EDTA)、亚乙基三胺五乙酸钠、柠檬酸钠、碳酸钠、偏硅酸钠和沸石,例如阳离子交换能力(以CaCO3测量)为200mg/g沸石或更高的沸石。
助水溶剂的实例是苯、枯烯、甲苯和二甲苯磺酸盐的碱金属盐,理想的是钠盐。还可以使用两种或更多种助水溶剂的混合物。
示例性的香料可以由以下构成:从植物和花中提取的组分、合成再造物(天然香料的合成复制品)和/或合成创新物(具有独特嗅觉特性的天然存在的材料的变体)。这些组分可以是具有不同碳链长度的醇类、萜烯类分子、烃类、酯类、醚类和酮类。我们可以列举香精油、芳香化学品、香水等,例如龙涎香、冰片及其酯、香芹酮、海狸香、麝香猫、肉桂醛、柠檬醛、丁香油、枫子香、茉莉、柠檬烯、芳樟醇及其酯、蒎烯(α、β等)、迷迭香油、檀香、松油醇、松油烯等、安息香醛、安息香、乙酸异戊酯(香蕉);丙酸异丁酯(朗姆酒);邻氨基苯甲酸甲酯(葡萄);乙酸苄酯(桃)、二戊烯、丁酸甲酯(苹果);丁酸乙酯(菠萝);乙酸辛酯(橙);乙酸正丙酯(梨);苯乙酸乙酯(蜂蜜)等。
示例性的增塑剂包括邻苯二甲酸酯,例如邻苯二甲酸二丁酯、邻苯二甲酸二乙基己酯和邻苯二甲酸二乙酯;脂肪族二酯,例如己二酸二辛酯;对苯二甲酸酯,例如对苯二甲酸二辛酯;柠檬酸酯,例如乙酰柠檬酸三乙酯和乙酰柠檬酸三正丁酯;基于缩酮的增塑剂,如PCT申请WO 2010/151558中描述的那些,或包含前述物质中的至少一种的组合。
可以存在增稠剂来调节清洁组合物的流变特性。例如,从汽车喷漆室去除部分干燥的涂漆通常是通过在喷漆室上喷射清洁组合物如涂料去除剂来进行的。涂料去除剂必须足够稀,以易于喷涂,但必须在低剪切条件下迅速增加粘度,以有效地粘附在竖直表面上。如果要在上方涂漆涂料去除剂,通常需要较高粘度的组合物,而将涂覆的基材浸泡在槽中,则可以使用不含添加的增稠剂的低粘度组合物。增稠剂还可以通过降低挥发性组分在施加到经涂覆的基材上之后的蒸发速率来提高涂料去除剂的效力。在组合物中使用增稠剂能够使组合物施加到竖直表面上,而没有任何伴随的从其上的滴落或流出,并且还抑制组合物耗散到多孔基材如砖或混凝土中。

清洁组合物可以是呈固体、凝胶、液体、乳液的形式。单一组合物可具有多于一种用途,例如单一组合物可用于清洁硬表面和软表面两者。
可替代地,清洁组合物可以配制成可用于清洁组合物的其他形式,例如凝胶、擦拭物、气溶胶等。清洁组合物可以通过添加有效量的胶凝剂配制成凝胶形式,该胶凝剂如气相二氧化硅、有机胶、聚合物、共聚物、石蜡、膨润土和纤维素醚如甲基纤维素和羟丙基甲基纤维素(从陶氏化学公司(Dow Chemical)以纤维素醚可商购)。擦拭物通常是浸渍有凝胶或液体清洁组合物的天然或合成织物片。当以气溶胶形式使用时,清洁组合物在压力下与本领域已知的推进剂一起配制。

实例
组合物
根据本发明,使用MIBC PO作为溶剂,出于不同的清洁目的制备不同的组合物。
为了进行对比性能测试,如下表I和表II使用了使用标准溶剂的标准清洁组合物。

将每种组合物中使用的不同丙氧基化度的MIBC PO(MIBC 2.5PO、MIBC6PO和MIBC8PO)的测试结果与具有两个丙氧基化度的MIBC PO(MIBC 2PO)的组合物进行比较。因此,每种组合物的清洁性能结果根据MIBC 2PO的组合物变化。

与具有较低丙氧基化度的甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)的组合物相比,具有较高丙氧基化度的甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)的组合物具有提高的清洁性能。当与具有两个丙氧基化度的甲基异丁基甲醇的组合物相比时,观察到的清洁性能提高至少8%、最高达12%的极限。
每种应用都有其与所用配方相关的特殊性,例如,有效物(asset)浓度的变化、所用表面活性剂的类型以及组分之间的相互作用。这些特殊性直接影响清洁性能,并且因此,重要的是要注意,只能在相同的应用中比较清洁性能。
因此,出人意料地,已经发现,对于大量的清洁组合物而言,与不同的标准清洁组合物相比,在清洁组合物中使用上述要求保护的丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇(MIBC PO)或其类似的丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇(DIBC PO)允许改善清洁性能。
Claims (14)
1.丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇在用于清洁硬表面和/或软表面的清洁组合物中的用途。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用途,用于清洁硬表面如在餐具洗涤、玻璃清洁、烘箱清洁、多用途清洁、浴室清洁、厨房清洁、香味清洁、混凝土清洁和工业去除中,或者用于清洁软表面如衣物、皮革或由天然或合成纤维制成的织物。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的用途,与标准清洁组合物相比,用于改善通过标准ASTMD4488-95测量的清洁性能。
4.根据权利要求4所述的用途,其中,与标准清洁组合物相比,该清洁性能的改善在从6%至121%的范围内。
5.一种清洁组合物,其包含以下组分中的至少一种:
a.丙氧基化甲基异丁基甲醇或丙氧基化二异丁基甲醇,
