一种基于车联网的虚拟车辆钥匙管理方法和系统，所述方法包括：客户端发送虚拟车辆钥匙申请指令到云服务器中，所述虚拟车辆钥匙申请指令中包括钥匙种类信息、用户标识信息和车辆标识信息(S210)；所述云服务器对所述用户标识信息和所述车辆标识信息进行验证，得到标识信息验证结果(S220)；所述云服务器生成与所述标识信息验证结果对应的虚拟车辆钥匙(S230)；所述云服务器将所述虚拟车辆钥匙分别发送到所述客户端和与所述车辆标识信息对应的车端(S240)；所述客户端和所述车端分别在本地存储所述虚拟车辆钥匙(S250)；所述车端向云服务器发送虚拟车辆钥匙管理信息(S260)；所述客户端向云服务器发送虚拟车辆钥匙管理指令(S270)；所述云服务器根据所示虚拟车辆钥匙管理信息执行所述虚拟车辆钥匙管理指令对应的管理操作(S280)。该方法将虚拟车辆钥匙的管理权限交给用户，提高了用户体验。
