As shown in fig. 2 to 5, during the operation of the elevator, dust is adhered to the wedge 6 and the car lifting guide rail 7 due to long-term use, and the wedge 6 is relatively moved upwards during the process that the safety gear 5 is pulled by the pulling mechanism 11 to brake the car 8, so that the lateral distance of the wedge 6 relative to the car lifting guide rail 7 is shortened.
