Abstract

本发明的领域
本发明涉及一种电磁线圈致动的阀组件,更具体地说,涉及用于控制电磁阀中一阀针的颤动的装置。
本发明的背景
一般地说,一个电磁阀包括一个可在用于使针阀同阀座接触和分离的第一和第二位置之间活动的电枢。这些第一和第二位置的极限常常由机械止动装置限定。电枢可由从线圈产生的电磁力在一个方向上推动,并由复位弹簧在相反方向上推动。当电枢阀针撞击止动装置时,燃油喷射器会发生颤动。
在高速流体计量电磁线圈中,阀针颤动是一个问题,因为阀针每次颤动都将未经控制的少量燃油配量供入发动机中,这对排放燃油是有害的。正如可以理解的那样,燃油漏入发动机中将对节约燃油造成很不利的后果。在电枢运动的两端中任一端处,电枢都由于其质量和速度而具有动能。如果没有用于耗散那种能量的措施,则它通过与止动装置弹性碰撞而传回电枢。最终,该能量在一连串的碰撞和颤动之后耗散掉。电枢和阀针的颤动通过延长或缩短喷射时间来影响燃油喷射器的操作,同时造成阀座区内的过量磨损。这种颤动造成喷射时间和喷射量增加、输送燃油量的精度下降,以及雾化效果不良。
因此很显然,需要一种控制电枢阀针颤动的装置,借以减少燃油进入发动机的数量和阀座区内的磨损。
本发明的概要
这种需要可通过本发明得到满足,在本发明中,一个脉冲宽度调制式电磁阀的可动阀针制有凹槽、沟槽、或另外的凹坑,以便当它碰撞刚性止动装置时可减少或消除颤动。本发明改变了阀针的轴向或弯曲弹性常数和振动模态,以便实现受控的颤动。
根据本发明的一种情况,一种装置包括一个可在用于使针阀同阀座接触和分离的第一和第二方向上活动的电枢。止动装置至少可在第一方向上形成一个运动停顿。将阻尼装置施用于阀针,通过改变阀针的弹性常数和振动模态,用于在阀针接触止动装置时减少阀针的颤动。

优选实施例的说明
参看以剖面图示的图1,一个典型的球端阀针和锥形燃油喷射器电磁阀10设计成在燃油压力超过1000磅/英寸2(psi)下操作。该喷射器10包括一个由非磁性不锈钢制成的管状外壳12。该管状外壳12的内部包含一个进口管14和多个不同直径的横截面,形成通常的各台肩,以用于各种不同的功能。沿着外壳12的外侧安放有密封装置16,以便将喷射器10密封在它所在的一部发动机或进气歧管的一个镗孔之中。外壳12具有一个开口端18和一个出口端20。该出口端20经过平底扩孔,而形成一个台肩22,用于设置一个阀座组件24和一个喷雾发生器26。该阀座组件24包括一个阀针止动装置,如阀座28和一个旋流式导向件30。靠近阀针28的是具有一个沿轴向对中的镗孔32的喷雾发生器26,穿过该镗孔针阀34作往复运动。
针阀34具有一个基本上是球形的圆端,用于和阀座配合,以关闭喷射器10。在阀针34的与球形圆端相对的一端处,有一阀针电枢装置(图中未示出),该装置包括一个电枢构件和一个阻尼构件。该电枢构件设置在贴靠阻尼构件的阀针34上,并可沿着阀针34相对于阻尼构件稍微沿轴向移动。针阀34的这一端被安放在弹簧座圈36中,该弹簧座圈36可滑动地安放在螺线管芯的内极40的镗孔38里面。
这些各种不同零件之间相对的结构和布置基本上与共同授予的美国专利4610080的燃油喷射器中的相同。该喷射器属于通常称之为顶部加料型的这一类,其特征在于燃油通过入口接头14引入,并从沿轴向对置的喷咀或喷头端以喷射形式排放出去。
差别主要涉及本公开内容的发明特点,本发明的机理在于减少阀针36无论在弯曲还是在压缩方面的弹性常数。因此,运动着的阀针的动能可以更容易作为应变能存贮在已挠曲的阀针中。在碰撞时这种挠曲越大,在材料的内部阻尼中能够耗散的这种能量就越多。这样,重新返回为动能的应变能就减少。
图1说明本发明的一个优选实施例,其特征在于,在阀针36相对置的两侧设置了一种“阶梯形”的凹槽结构作为阻尼装置,以便通过添加任何数目的双悬臂梁来降低阀针的轴向弹性常数。借此可将针的弹性常数调整到用来消除关闭颤动的一个精确水平上。
对该项技术中那些熟练人员来说,显然存在许多属于本发明范围的各种各样的实施例。图2-5只举例说明了本发明的大量其他实施例中的某些。图2中说明的实施例通过调节弯曲模态形状而发挥作用,以便结合一种凹槽44来消除关闭颤动。图3表明多个凹槽46。正如该项技术的那些熟练人员会明显看出的那样,任何数目的凹槽、沟槽或其它凹坑都可用作沿着针的长度位于任何地方的必需手段。图4表明一种圆周形沟槽48,而不是图1-3中的平底凹槽42、44和46。图5表明一种实施例,其中用一种带波纹的细管50代替阀针。该细管50中的波纹或皱纹52以与其它结构中相同的方法来降低弹性常数。该细管50也可用其它方法成形,如用扇形凹坑代替圆周形凹坑,以便调节轴向弹性常数和弯曲弹性常数,或二者的任何组合。
该项技术中的那些熟练人员将会理解,本发明的原理可应用于燃油喷射器10的其它部分。例如,可将同样特征加到定子或电枢上,以便减少开启颤动。还有,如果用阀针代替电枢用作开启止动装置,则可在定子端部处对针加以改进,这将对于减少开启颤动特别有用。
在详细叙述了本发明并参照了其优选实施例之后,显然,在不脱离所附各项权利要求所限定的本发明的范围的情况下,可能作出其它一些修改和变动。

Claims (8)

1、一种装置包括:
一个可在用于使一个阀针同一个阀座接触和分离的第一方向和第二方向上活动的电枢;
用于至少在所述第一方向上形成一个运动停顿的止动装置;
加到所述阀针上的阻尼装置,该阻尼装置通过改变所述阀针弹性常数和振动模态,用于在所述阀针接触所述止动装置时减少所述阀针的颤动。
2、如权利要求1所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述第一方向是一个用于使所述阀针接触所述阀座组件的关闭方向,而所述第二方向是一个用于使所述阀针与所述阀座组件分离的开启方向。
3、如权利要求2所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述阻尼装置形成用于所述第一方向的阻尼。
4、如权利要求1所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述阻尼装置在所述阀针上包括至少一个凹坑。
5、如权利要求4所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述至少一个凹坑包括以一种阶梯形的结构在所述阀针的相对置的两侧上形成的多个凹槽。
6、如权利要求4所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述至少一个凹坑包括以一种阶梯形的结构在所述阀针的相对置的两侧上形成的多个凹槽。
7、如权利要求4所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述至少一个凹坑包括至少一个在所述阀针上形成的沟槽。
8、如权利要求1所述的一种装置,其特征在于,所述阀针包括一个带波纹的细管。
