Summary of the application
In recent years, 5G technology is rapidly developed, however, the deployment investment cost of a 5G network is high, and the development speed of the 5G network is greatly restricted, so that the 5G shared network technology is more and more concerned as a network cost optimization mode, and a 5G co-established shared network is divided into two network architectures, namely, 5G access network sharing and 5G core network roaming. The roaming of the 5G core network refers to that, in an independent networking (SA) mode, a home network side 5G user uses a 5G service in a 5G roaming area by accessing a visited network side 5G network. The 5G access networks and the core networks of the two parties of the 5G core network roaming operator are independently constructed and managed, and users independently manage. The main stream 5G core network roaming is realized by adopting a home routing mode, namely roaming user data returns to a home network, and services are provided by the home network. In a network providing 5G core network roaming, a data service, an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) based voice/video service, and an SMS over IP short message service should be provided to a user, and both parties of an operator providing the 5G core network roaming service should provide corresponding services to a roaming user based on an internetwork roaming agreement.
At present, according to different scenes, a network architecture of 5G core network roaming can be divided into core network roaming in a scene of "having a home network signal" and core network roaming in a scene of "not having a home network signal". The core network roaming defined by 3GPP mainly refers to an international roaming scenario, that is, when there is no home network signal, the terminal may Access using a visited network 5G service, there are no N26 interface and N14 interface between the 4G/5G core network of the home network and the 5G core network of the roaming network, the N26 interface is an interface between a home network MME (Mobility Management Entity) and a roaming network AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function), and the N14 interface is an interface between the home network AMF and the roaming network AMF. However, in many areas, when there is a home 4G network, the user also wants to be able to access and use the 5G network, and therefore, core network roaming with home network signaling is also very important.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a core network roaming architecture in a home network signal scenario, where in the home network signal scenario, a 5G terminal needs to attach/register to a 4G/5G core network of a home network first when initially accessing, and when the home 4G/5G network desires that a user can enter a visited 5G network under a condition of insufficient coverage, an EPLMN list (EPLMN list) is issued to the terminal, a roaming PLMN of the visited network is set as an equivalent PLMN of the home network, and the roaming PLMN is set as a high-priority PLMN. For example, the operator a and the operator B deploy a core network roaming scheme in a signal scenario, and the operator B may provide a Voice Over New Radio (VoNR) Voice service for the user UEA of the operator a, but cannot provide an EPS FB (evolved packet circuit domain Fallback) service for the user of the operator a because the operator B does not open an N26 interface with the operator a. When the UEA attaches/registers to the network a, the 4G/5G network of the operator a issues the EPLMN list to the UEA, and sets the PLMN a and the PLMN X as equivalent PLMNs, and then the UEA can meet the requirements of reselecting and redirecting from the operator network a to the 5G network of the operator B. However, a terminal supporting the VoNR and a terminal not supporting the VoNR coexist in the network of the operator a, and when the terminal UEA not supporting the VoNR roams to the 5G network of the operator B, the network of the operator B cannot provide the voice service for the UEA, and the terminal may return to 4G in an off-line re-search manner or cannot use the voice service, which greatly affects user experience.
In view of the above technical problems, the present application provides a method, an apparatus, and a medium for processing an EPLMN list in a core network roaming scenario, where when a terminal receives an EPLMN list sent by a home network core network device, it determines whether the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted according to capability information of the terminal and pre-stored capability information of a visited network, and if so, deletes the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list, so that when the terminal cannot use a voice service of the visited network, roaming to the visited network is not performed by reselection or redirection, and frequent network selection operations of the terminal can be reduced, which improves user experience, and if not, the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list is retained, so that roaming to the visited network can be performed by reselection or redirection when the terminal can use the voice service of the visited network.
Having described the general principles of the present application, various non-limiting embodiments of the present application will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example 1:
the embodiment provides a method for processing an EPLMN list of a peer-to-peer public land mobile network in a core network roaming scenario, which is applied to a terminal, and as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step S101: receiving an EPLMN list sent by core network equipment of a home network, wherein the EPLMN list carries roaming PLMN of a visited network equivalent to the home PLMN of the home network.
In this embodiment, when the home network is a 4G network, the home network core network device may be an MME of the home network, and when the home network is a 5G network, the home network core network device may be an AMF of the home network.
Optionally, before receiving the EPLMN list sent by the home network core network device, the method may further include:
sending an attach request/registration request to the home network core network device, where the attach request/registration request carries registration information of the terminal, and the registration information includes: the location information of the terminal, and/or an IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), and/or an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), and/or an MSISDN (International Mobile Subscriber integrated services digital network), so that the home network core network device determines whether the terminal meets a core network roaming condition according to the location information of the terminal, and/or the IMSI, and/or the IMEI, and/or the MSISDN.
In this embodiment, when the terminal attaches to the 4G home network, the attach request (attach request) is sent to the core network device of the home network, where the attach request carries the Registration information of the terminal, and when the terminal registers in the 5G home network, the Registration request (Registration request) is sent to the core network device of the home network, where the Registration information of the terminal is carried. The registration information may include: the location information of the terminal, such as TAC (Tracking Area Code), IMSI, IMEI, MSISDN, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) Voice capability (IMS PS Voice preferred, IMS packet domain Voice preferred, CS Voice as secondary, circuit domain Voice preferred second), short message capability, emergency call capability, and the like, is directly sent to the home network core network through NAS messages.
In this embodiment, different operators may set different core network roaming conditions according to implementation situations, for example, the home network core network device may determine whether the terminal satisfies the core network roaming condition only according to TAC location information or IMSI of the terminal, or may determine whether the terminal satisfies the core network roaming condition according to a combination of the TAC location information and the IMSI.
Optionally, the receiving the EPLMN list sent by the home network core network device specifically includes:
and receiving an attachment acceptance message/registration acceptance message which is sent by the core network equipment of the home network and carries the EPLMN list when the terminal is judged to meet the roaming condition of the core network.
In this embodiment, when the core network device of the home network determines that the terminal meets the core network roaming condition, an EPLMN list is configured for the terminal, so as to set the roaming PLMN of the visited network as an equivalent PLMN of the home network, and the terminal does not need to report the VoNR capability, and the EPLMN list is sent to the terminal through an attach accept message (attach accept)/Registration accept message (Registration accept).
Step S102: judging whether the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted or not according to the capability information of the terminal and the pre-stored capability information of the visited network;
in this embodiment, the terminal may obtain and store the capability information of the visited network in advance, where the capability information of the visited network may include a VoNR capability, an EPS FB capability, an IMS emergency call capability, and so on.
Optionally, before determining whether to delete the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list according to the capability information of the terminal and the capability information of the pre-stored visited network, the method further includes:
acquiring and storing the capability information of the visit network from a core network roaming platform; or,
acquiring and storing the capability information of the visiting network through a palm business hall application program of a home network; or,
and receiving and storing the capability information of the visited network, which is sent by the core network equipment of the home network.
In this embodiment, the terminal may acquire and store the capability information of the visited network in advance through any one of the following manners:
a) The terminal directly acquires the capability information of the visited network from the core network roaming platform;
b) The terminal acquires the capability of the visiting network through a third-party platform (considering that the home network and the visiting network may not have capability intercommunication interfaces and may not be capable of transmitting information), and the third-party platform only issues the capability information of the home network and the visiting network aiming at the terminal, so that the home network and the visiting network do not need to know the states of the home network and the visiting network in real time, and the problems of mutual data transmission and safety brought by an open interface between operators are solved. The third party platform can be, for example, a palm business hall APP of the home network, and as long as the terminal successfully resides on the home network, the palm business hall APP pushes the capability information of the visited network to the terminal in real time;
c) The home network and the visited network communicate the capability information in advance, namely the core network of the home network and the core network of the visited network both pre-store the capability information of both sides, and the home network core network equipment can send the capability information of the visited network to the terminal through the attachment acceptance message/registration acceptance message.
In this embodiment, it may be specifically determined whether the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted according to the VoNR capability and/or the EPS FB capability of the terminal and the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability of the visited network.
Optionally, the determining, according to the VoNR capability and/or the EPS FB capability of the terminal and the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability of the visited network, whether to delete the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list specifically includes at least one of the following:
if the visited network supports the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability, and the terminal supports at least one of the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability, determining that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list is not required to be deleted;
if the visited network supports the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability, the terminal does not support the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability and is a non-voice terminal, judging that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list is not required to be deleted;
if the visited network supports the VoNR capability but does not support the EPS FB capability, and the terminal supports the VoNR capability, judging that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list does not need to be deleted;
if the visited network supports the VoNR capability but not the EPS FB capability, and the terminal does not support the VoNR capability but supports the EPS FB capability, determining that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted;
if the visited network supports the VoNR capability but does not support the EPS FB capability, the terminal does not support the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability and is a non-voice terminal, judging that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list is not required to be deleted;
if the visited network does not support the VoNR capability but supports the EPS FB capability, and the terminal supports the EPS FB capability, judging that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list does not need to be deleted;
if the visited network does not support the VoNR capability but supports the EPS FB capability, and the terminal supports the VoNR capability but does not support the EPS FB capability, determining that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted;
if the visited network does not support the VoNR capability but supports the EPS FB capability, the terminal does not support the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability and is a non-voice terminal, judging that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list is not required to be deleted;
if the visited network does not support the VoNR capability or the EPS FB capability, and the terminal supports at least one of the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability, determining that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted;
if the visited network does not support the VoNR capability or the EPS FB capability, the terminal does not support the VoNR capability or the EPS FB capability, and the terminal is a non-voice terminal, it is determined that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list does not need to be deleted.
In this embodiment, after obtaining the EPLMN list, the terminal finds that the roaming PLMN (PLMNIDB) of the visited network is equivalent to the home PLMN (PLMNIDA) of the home network, and then starts to check the capability information of the terminal and the visited network, so as to determine whether the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted, for example, it may be determined whether the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted according to table 1, as shown in table 1, if the determination result is needed, it indicates that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted, and if the determination result is not needed, it indicates that the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list is retained.
Table 1: the corresponding relation between the capability information of the terminal and the visited network and whether the roaming PLMN needs to be deleted or not is as follows:
Figure BDA0003920309550000141
Figure BDA0003920309550000151
in this embodiment, on the basis of the VoNR capability and the EPS FB capability, it may further be determined whether the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted according to other capabilities, such as:
(a) The terminal supports visiting network frequency points, supports EPSFB and does not support VoNR; the visited network supports VoNR and does not support EPSFB, and the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted for the terminal with voice priority; for the terminal with data priority, the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list does not need to be deleted (the mobile phone type terminal can not perform voice service on the visited network);
(b) The terminal does not support visiting network frequency points, EPSFB and VoNR; the visited network supports VoNR and supports EPSFB, and then the roaming PLMN in the EPLMN list needs to be deleted (since the terminal does not support the visited network frequency point, the terminal cannot be accessed to the visited network);
(c) The terminal supports visited network frequency points, supports EPSFB, supports VoNR, supports IMS emergency call, supports VoNR, does not support EPSFB, does not support IMS emergency call, and needs to delete roaming PLMN in EPLMN list (although the terminal meets core network roaming conditions, the terminal needs to return to home network for emergency call service);
