Description

Method, device and system for voice fallback
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a system for voice fallback.
Background
Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) is an important standard in third-generation mobile communication systems. CDMA commercial networks are currently established in north america, china, and some countries in asia.
Since the global scale of a CDMA network is much smaller than that of a global System for Mobile communications/Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (GSM/UMTS), when a CDMA user moves abroad, if there is no CDMA network coverage, it is impossible to implement an international roaming service. In order to meet the international roaming requirement of a user, a CDMA network operator generally deploys an international roaming gateway (FLR) to implement protocol conversion between ANSI-41MAP (american national Standards Institute-41Mobile Application Part) and GSM MAP, so as to provide a function of roaming between a GSM network and a CDMA network for a CDMA dual-mode (also referred to as a multi-mode) end user. In the service process of the dual-mode terminal user, the FLR plays roles of a mobile switching Center/visitor Location Register (MSC/VLR), a Short Message Center (SMC), a Home Location Register (HLR) network element of the GSM network, and roles of an MSC/VLR, an information Center (MC) and an HLR network element of the CDMA network, so as to implement roaming from the user to the GSM/UMTS.
Evolution to a fourth generation wireless data network (Long Term Evolution, abbreviated as LTE) is a trend for operators, and LTE networks are deployed in a plurality of countries currently. When a CDMA user using a dual-mode terminal with LTE capability roams internationally, the CDMA user may attach to the LTE network in the LTE network coverage area. Therefore, the problem of how to use voice services arises for applications when a user roams in an LTE network.
When a CDMA operator performs international roaming service, voice service is generally provided by a conventional 2G/3G network. Therefore, the FLR is required to support Mobile Terminal Roaming Retry (MTRR) and Mobile Terminal Roaming Forwarding (MTRF) of standard Circuit Switched Fallback (CSFB).
The LTE terminal with the CSFB capability is dropped to the 2G/3G network through the CSFB technology, and the traditional 2G/3G network provides voice services, but the call completing rate of the voice dropping is not high, and connection errors are easy to occur.
Aiming at the problems that in the related art, the call completing rate of voice fallback in the process of terminal cross-network international roaming is not high, and connection errors are easy to occur, no effective solution exists at present.

The present invention will be described below with reference to preferred embodiments and embodiments.
The preferred embodiment provides a method for realizing voice fallback when a CDMA user is in international roaming in an LTE network, which is suitable for storing CDMA dual-mode (or multi-mode) user information in a CDMA home location register (HLRe), where GSM/UMTS information corresponding to the CDMA user is stored in an international roaming gateway FLR.
In the method for voice fallback when a CDMA user is internationally roamed in an LTE network, when the user is internationally roamed in the LTE network and the MSC/VLR where the user is located allows MTRR, when the user is called in the CDMA network, the FLR plays the role of the CDMA MSC/VLR and returns a routing response to HLRe, and a redirection label (redirectNum) is carried in a Temporary Local number (TLDN) of the routing response.
When the subscriber CSFB falls back to the 2G/3G network and reselects MSC/VLR registration in the GSM/UMTS network, the FLR plays the role of HLR in the GSM/UMTS network. When the new and old MSC/VLRs all allow MTRR, the FLR records the location update mark until the location update process is finished, when a SEND _ ROUTING _ update request sent by the MSC of GSM/UMTS is received in the process, whether the location update of the current user at the new MSC/VLR is finished is detected, if the location update process is not finished, after the location update process is finished, a Provision Roaming Number (PRN) request is sent to the new MSC/VLR, and if the ROUTING INFORMATION (SRI) is requested, the request carries a Roaming Retry mark (PRN), the Roaming Number is provided at the PRN. The request message carries a receive roaming retry supported (mt roaming retry supported) parameter.
When the subscriber CSFB falls back to the 2G/3G network and reselects MSC/VLR registration in the GSM/UMTS network, the FLR plays the role of HLR in the GSM/UMTS network. When the new and old MSC/VLRs both allow MTRF and the LOCATION UPDATE (UPDATE _ LOCATION) carries the MTRF flag, the FLR sends a delete LOCATION (CANCEL _ LOCATION) message to the user's previously registered MSC/VLR carrying the support and authorization flags
(MTRFmtrf-Supported AndAuuthorized), a new MSC/VLR Number (newMSC-Number, newVLR-Number).
Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a first embodiment of the MTRR after the voice fallback has successfully retrieved the roaming number according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 5, in the first embodiment of the present invention, when the user registers in the LTE network, for example, the user is a called service, and after the CSFB has retrieved the roaming number, to implement the MTRR, the preferred embodiment provides a method for interaction between the FLR and other network element entities, which includes the following steps:
step 501: a CDMA Gateway Mobile Switching Center (GMSC) receives a call initiation request of a user and initiates a position query request to an HLRe where a called user is located;
step 502: the HLRe initiates routing query to the FLR according to the recorded user position;
step 503: the invention requires the FLR to judge whether the current user is in the international roaming state and whether the MSC/VLR where the user is located allows MTRR, then the FLR returns the routing information to the HLRe, wherein the format is the routing code and the Mobile subscriber Directory Number (RN + MDN), and the RN is the routing code of the GMSC of GSM/UMTS.
Step 504: after receiving the routing code returned by the FLR, the HLRe returns the routing code to the CDMA GMSC;
step 505: and the CDMA GMSC redirects the call to the GMSC of the GSM/UMTS according to the routing information returned by the HLRe.
Step 506: the GMSC initiates a route query to the FLR according to the route configuration, and the request carries an MT routing RetrySupported mark;
step 507: the FLR plays the role of HLR, sends PRN to MSC/VLR where the user is located, and requests a roaming number;
step 508: after receiving the roaming number request, MSC/VLR returns the roaming number;
step 509: the FLR returns a roaming number to the GMSC through the SRI response;
step 510: the GMSC initiates initial address information (IMA for short) to MSC/VLR where the user is according to the roaming number;
step 511: the MSC/VLR pages the user to a Mobile management Entity (MME for short) through an SGs interface and triggers the user to fall back to the 2/3G network from the LTE;
step 512: after the user falls back to the 2/3G network, reselecting the MSC/VLR for location registration, wherein the selected MSC/VLR is different from the currently registered MSC/VLR;
step 513: the new MSC/VLR initiates a location updating request to the FLR;
step 514: after receiving the location update request of the new MSC/VLR, the FLR sends a cancel location (cancel location) to the previously registered MSC/VLR to request to delete the user information;
step 515: the old MSC/VLR returns a cancel location response to the FLR;
step 516: the FLR simulation MSC/VLR initiates a location updating request to the HLRe of the CDMA;
517: after completing the user location information updating, the HLRe returns a location updating response to the FLR;
step 518: the old MSC/VLR sends a Reply Call Handling (RCH) to the GMSC indicating that the user has sent a roaming retry (roaming), and the GMSC acknowledges the message back.
Step 519: the GMSC sends REL (Release) to the old MSC/VLR, and the Release releases the speech path resource between the old MSC/VLR and the GMSC.
Step 520: the FLR simulates an HLR and inserts user data to the new MSC/VLR;
step 521: the GMSC initiates a routing request to the FLR again;
step 522: the FLR continues to insert data to the MSC/VLR;
step 523: after the FLR completes the data downloading, the FLR sends a location updating response to the MSC/VLR to complete a location updating process;
step 524: the invention requires FLR to wait for the end of the location updating process, and after the FLR detects that the location updating process is finished, the invention requests a roaming number from a new MSC/VLR;
step 525: the new MSC/VLR returns a roaming number to the FLR;
step 526: the FLR returns a request Routing Information (SRI) MAP request Routing Information response to the GMSC, carrying the roaming number.
Step 527: the GMSC sends an IAM request to the MSC/VLR where the user is located according to the roaming number;
step 528: the new MSC/VLR sends a location update acceptance response to the user terminal to complete the attachment of the user on the MSC/VLR;
step 529: the user terminal completes a Temporary Identity (TMSI);
step 530: the new MSC/VLR initiates a call establishment request to initiate a call;
step 531: the mobile phone completes the call confirmation and completes the call establishment.
In step 507 of the first embodiment, the following description is provided:
optionally, in step 507, if the SRI request carries a Call reference number (Call reference number), the PRN needs to pass through.
