Description

Thread cutting method of embroidery machine
The present application is a divisional application of patent application CN202110459465.3 of "a thread trimming device and a thread trimming method of an embroidery machine" proposed in 27.4.4.2021.
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of embroidery machines, in particular to a thread cutting method of an embroidery machine.
Background
At present, in the embroidery machine industry, when an embroidery finishes one graphic unit and begins to embroider another graphic unit, the upper thread and the bottom thread below a cloth cover need to be cut, as the number of the embroidery units is large, the thread needs to be cut frequently, and the thread end left by the needle raising after the thread cutting is positioned below the cloth cover. An upper thread driven by a needle of a needle raising embroidery machine after thread cutting of a general embroidery machine penetrates through a cloth cover and is hooked by a rotating shuttle and is divided into a front strand and a rear strand, and the front strand and the rear strand form a coil which wraps a bottom thread in the rotating shuttle through the rotating shuttle. In the process of forming the coil and hitching, as the thread ends of the upper threads are not tied, the situation that the embroidery thread cannot be tightened easily occurs, the thread ends below the cloth cover are disordered and are different in length, and the quality of the embroidery is greatly influenced; and the bottom line is easy to break loose due to too loose stitches, and the phenomena of line breaking and disconnection are easy to occur.
The utility model discloses a patent CN201071451Y discloses an embroidery machine thread trimming device to specifically disclose the device move the sword actuating mechanism by moving sword, stationary knife and control and constitute, move the sword and set up with the stationary knife in the same moves the sword subassembly that sets up on the faller, move the sword and can be in with the stationary knife and overlap under the control that moves sword actuating mechanism, still be equipped with one on the faller and move the line device of catching that the end of a thread was pushed down to sword crochet hook, thread trimming in-process. This patent is only pushed down the end of a thread at the bottom of the trimming in-process, does not tie the upper thread end of the embroidery of the needle raising after the trimming, still has the embroidery thread and can't take out tightly and the end of a thread that causes is mixed and disorderly, the length differs to and easily shake off the problem that the end of a thread takes place to take off the line, cuts off the line.
The applicant's prior invention application CN 2021101748749 discloses a thread cutting method for an embroidery machine, and specifically discloses a method comprising: s10, controlling a machine needle to lower the needle, and bringing an upper thread end below a needle plate; step S20, after the thread end of the facial thread is brought below the needle plate, the movable thread cutting knife is controlled to hook the thread end of the facial thread to move towards the fixed thread cutting knife until the thread end stops at a stop limit position where the movable thread cutting knife and the fixed thread cutting knife are not closed; at the moment, the hooked upper thread is limited to the bottom thread retainer below the thread cutting movable knife; s30, controlling a machine needle to drop to finish embroidering of at least one stitch; and S40, controlling the movable trimming cutter to move from the stop limit to the fixed trimming cutter, and trimming the thread ends of the upper threads when the movable trimming cutter and the fixed trimming cutter are closed. The invention utilizes the bottom thread retainer positioned below the movable thread cutting knife on the prior embroidery machine to bind the thread end of the upper thread before thread cutting, and cuts the thread under the condition that both the bottom thread and the upper thread are retained by the bottom thread retainer, thereby solving the problems of different thread ends and easy bottom thread breaking off caused by too loose stitches to a certain extent. In the practical application process, the bottom thread retainer is positioned below the movable trimming cutter, the upper thread is positioned between the bottom thread retainer and the movable trimming cutter, and after the upper thread is cut off, the thread head of the upper thread is easily bent by 180 degrees and then faces the direction of the rotating shuttle, so that a new thread head is formed on the thread loop sleeve when the second needle is raised, and the quality of an embroidery product is influenced. In addition, waste remains on the bobbin thread holder after the thread cutting is completed.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the problems in the prior art, the invention provides a thread cutting method of an embroidery machine, which avoids the disordered thread ends and different thread ends below a cloth cover, solves the problems of thread drop and thread breakage caused by the fact that a bobbin thread is easy to break off due to too loose stitches, and can also avoid the phenomenon that the thread ends of the face thread are brought into a rotating shuttle to form new stitches to influence the quality of embroidery products.
The invention is realized by the following technical scheme:
a thread cutting device of an embroidery machine comprises a movable cutter, a fixed cutter and a movable cutter driving mechanism which are all arranged on a shuttle race; the movable knife is arranged on a knife bar of the movable knife driving mechanism; the rear side of the fixed cutter in the direction of the cutting edge of the fixed cutter blade is provided with a through hole; an embroidery thread holding structure is arranged between the movable knife and the fixed knife, the spring plate embroidery thread holding structure comprises an embroidery thread holding body, at least part of the embroidery thread holding body acts on the upper surface of the movable knife, and the acting part of the embroidery thread holding body is positioned on the front side of the cutting edge direction of the cutting edge of the movable knife; the front end of the embroidery thread holding body extends in a rising trend to form a free end of an embroidery thread holding structure, and the free end of the embroidery thread holding structure extends into the through hole; the embroidery thread holding structure is used for binding the bottom thread and/or the upper thread head between the action part of the embroidery thread holding body and the movable blade before thread trimming; the movable knife driving mechanism drives the movable knife to move towards the fixed knife, the end head of the movable knife cutting end of the movable knife forks a bottom thread and a facial thread to be cut and continues to move towards the fixed knife during movement, and the movable knife cutting edge and the fixed knife cutting edge act together to cut the bottom thread and the facial thread until the movable knife is superposed with the fixed knife.
The embroidery thread holding structure arranged between the fixed knife and the movable knife can effectively bind the bottom thread and/or the upper thread end (namely, the upper thread and the upper thread are bound when the upper thread is raised, and the bottom thread is bound after the upper thread is cut off), so that the thread ends below the cloth cover are prevented from being disordered and different in length, and the problems that the bottom thread is easy to break off to cause thread drop and thread breakage are solved.
Compared with the scheme that the prior invention application CN 2021101748749 adopts the bottom thread retainer positioned below the movable knife to restrain the bottom thread, although the prior application can restrain the end of the bottom thread, the end of the bottom thread is bent by 180 degrees and then faces to the rotating shuttle because the bottom thread retainer is positioned below the movable knife, when the second needle is pulled up, stitches are taken, a new end is formed, and the quality of embroidery is greatly influenced. In the scheme, a bottom thread retainer is not adopted to restrict a bottom thread, but an embroidery thread retaining structure is adopted and arranged above the movable knife, so that the head of the top thread is prevented from being bent by 180 degrees, the head of the top thread is always kept away from the rotating shuttle, and the head is prevented from being sleeved into the thread loop to form a new stitch. Meanwhile, the embroidery thread holding structure can effectively bind the thread end of the bottom thread.
After the trimming is completed, waste materials are generated. The bobbin thread retainer in the prior invention application is positioned below the movable knife, and after the movable knife is opened for the second time, waste materials can remain on the bobbin thread retainer and are not easy to clean. By adopting the embroidery thread holding structure arranged between the fixed knife and the movable knife, waste materials are easy to discharge quickly after the movable knife is opened for the second time.
In addition, the invention can also avoid the accidental cutting of the bottom line when the moving knife hooks the bottom line. Before cutting, one end of the bottom thread is fixed at the fabric, and the other end of the bottom thread is connected in the shuttle peg of the rotating shuttle; in the process of hooking the bottom thread by the movable knife, the bottom thread at the shuttle peg is actually pulled out and then cut off. When the bobbin thread retainer in the prior invention application is adopted, the bobbin thread between the hooking part of the movable knife and the bobbin is pressed by the bobbin thread retainer, and equivalently, the bobbin thread is subjected to more pressure, and when the movable knife moves continuously towards the fixed knife, the bobbin thread is easily cut off in advance when passing through the cutting edge of the fixed knife. When the embroidery thread holding structure is adopted, the bobbin thread between the needle plate and the embroidery thread holding structure is relatively immobile, and the bobbin thread is not subjected to more pressure in the process of hooking the bobbin thread by the movable cutter, can be cut off when the cutting edge of the movable cutter is superposed with the cutting edge of the fixed cutter, and cannot be cut off in advance in the process of hooking.

The movable knife driving mechanism drives the movable knife 1 to move towards the fixed knife 2, the movable knife shearing end head of the movable knife 1 forks a bottom thread and a facial thread to be sheared and continues to move towards the fixed knife 2 during movement, and the movable knife edge and the fixed knife edge act together to shear the bottom thread and the facial thread until the movable knife 1 and the fixed knife 2 are overlapped.
The embroidery thread holding structure can be a spring plate or a fibrous structure, such as a felt and a brush, and can have a certain friction force to ensure that the thread end of the bottom thread can be bound before thread trimming.
Fig. 1 to 4 illustrate an embodiment of a thread cutting device of an embroidery machine according to the present invention. The rear end of the embroidery thread maintaining body 41 is fixed above the stationary knife 2, and the embroidery thread maintaining body 41 passes through the through hole 21 from above the stationary knife 2 and then acts on the upper surface of the movable knife 1. The rear end of the embroidery thread holding body can be fixed above the fixed knife 2 by bolts, such as on the upper surface of the fixed knife 2 (see fig. 1 and 4), or on the mounting base of the fixed knife 2, or on the shuttle bed 5.
In fig. 2, the embroidery thread holding body of the embroidery thread holding structure includes a mounting portion 411, a connecting portion 412, and an operating portion 413. The mounting portion has a mounting hole. The connection part 412 connects the mounting part 411 and the acting part 413, and the connection part 412 extends downward from the mounting part 411, and is connected to the acting part 413 through the connection part. In the figure, the acting part is a bent structure, and the bent surface of the acting part acts on the surface of the movable knife. The invention is not limited to the structure that the embroidery thread keeping body acts on the surface of the movable knife as a curved structure, and is not limited to the structure that the curved surface acts on the surface of the movable knife. The acting surface of the acting part can also be a plane or an inclined plane, so that the thread end of the bottom thread can be bound in the space between the embroidery thread retaining structure and the movable knife. The front end of the action part extends in a rising trend to form a free end 42 of the embroidery thread holding structure, and the free end can extend into the through hole 21.
As shown in fig. 3, the fixed knife is provided with a through hole 21 between the fixed knife edge and the fixed knife mounting hole. The through hole 21 is formed according to the size of the embroidery thread holding structure so that the embroidery thread holding structure can pass through.
Fig. 5 to 7 show another embodiment of a thread cutting device of an embroidery machine according to the present invention. The rear end of the embroidery thread holding body 41 is fixed below the stationary knife 2. The rear end of the embroidery thread holding body can be fixed below the fixed knife 2 by using a bolt, such as the lower surface of the fixed knife 2, the mounting base of the fixed knife 2 (see fig. 7), and the shuttle bed 5.
In fig. 6, the embroidery thread holding body of the embroidery thread holding structure includes a mounting portion 411, a connecting portion 412, and an operating portion 413. The mounting portion 411 has a mounting hole. The connection part 412 connects the mounting part 411 and the acting part 413, and the connection part 412 extends downward from the mounting part 411, and is connected to the acting part 413 through the connection part. In the figure, the acting part is of a curved structure, and the curved surface of the acting part acts on the surface of the movable knife. The invention is not limited to the structure that the embroidery thread keeping body acts on the surface of the movable knife as a curved structure, and is not limited to the structure that the curved surface acts on the surface of the movable knife. The acting surface of the acting part can be a plane or an inclined plane, so that the thread end of the bottom thread can be bound in the space between the embroidery thread holding structure and the movable knife. The front end of the action part extends in a rising trend to form a free end 42 of the embroidery thread holding structure, and the free end can extend into the through hole 21.
As shown in fig. 5, the fixed blade 2 has a through hole 21 formed between the fixed blade edge 22 and the fixed blade mounting hole. The through hole 21 is formed according to the size of the embroidery thread holding structure so that the embroidery thread holding structure can pass through.
The embodiments shown in fig. 5-7 are not limited to the use of through-holes. Because the embroidery thread holding structure is arranged below the stationary knife, the through hole can be changed into a blind hole, namely, a hole with a certain depth is arranged, and the free end is allowed to extend into the blind hole. Or, no hole is formed, so that the embroidery thread holding structure is ensured to be contained in a certain space to realize the binding of the thread ends on the bottom surface before thread trimming on the premise that the thread trimming can be normally performed between the fixed knife and the movable knife, and no through hole or blind hole is formed in the fixed knife.
The two embodiments both adopt the fixed knife (the difference between the two embodiments is whether the fixed knife is provided with a through hole or not, or the size of the through hole) and the movable knife which are in the same structure.
As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the bottom of the stationary knife 2 facing the stationary knife thread cutting action portion of the movable knife 1 is provided with a stationary knife blade 22. And (3) welding the raw material of the fixed cutter blade to the bottom of the fixed cutter, and grinding to obtain the fixed cutter blade. In one embodiment, the front end of the stationary blade thread cutting action portion is flush with the front end of the stationary blade cutting edge 22. In another embodiment, the front end of the fixed knife thread cutting action part has an extension part extending towards the movable knife 1, so that the fixed knife blade 22 is retracted in the extension part. In the former embodiment, when the embroidery thread is tightened between the stationary knife cutting action portion and the stationary knife blade before the movable knife blade intersects the stationary knife blade, the embroidery thread is cut off or the embroidery thread is cut. In the latter embodiment, due to the existence of the extension part, the extension part prevents the embroidery thread from contacting with the cutting edge of the fixed knife in advance, so that the embroidery thread is not tightened on the cutting edge of the fixed knife in advance to cut hair or cut the embroidery thread. Meanwhile, in the latter embodiment, it is also necessary to note that the extension portion is not too long, the too long extension portion will contact with the cutting edge of the moving knife first, and tension exists between the extension portion and the cutting edge of the moving knife in the process that the moving knife moves towards the fixed knife, so that the cutting edge of the moving knife cuts the embroidery thread in advance. The movable cutter driving mechanism drives the movable cutter to move towards the fixed cutter, the end head of the movable cutter shearing wire of the movable cutter forks a bottom wire and a facial line to be sheared and continues to move towards the fixed cutter during movement, and the movable cutter cutting edge and the fixed cutter cutting edge act together to shear the bottom wire and the facial line until the movable cutter is overlapped with the fixed cutter. In addition, the front end of the fixed cutter thread cutting action part can be a plane or a concave surface, and embroidery threads can be conveniently gathered at the cutting edge when the front end of the fixed cutter thread cutting action part with the concave surface is adopted.
FIG. 8 is a view illustrating a structure of a movable blade of a thread trimmer of an embroidery machine according to the present invention. The movable knife 1 is provided with a downward inclined surface 11 facing the movable knife thread cutting action part of the fixed knife 2, and the inclined surface is provided with a groove 12. Therefore, when the movable cutter moves towards the fixed cutter, the bottom thread and the upper thread to be cut are gathered in the groove, and the groove leaves a space for embroidery thread, so that the embroidery thread has an extension space in the groove and cannot be tightened, and the embroidery thread is prevented from cutting sections in advance after the movable cutter is contacted with the fixed cutter; in addition, the inclined surface can prevent the cutting edge of the fixed knife from pushing the embroidery thread to directly rub and break. In order to control the lengths of the cut bottom thread and the upper thread to be consistent, the length should not be too long, and should not be too short, the embroidery thread needs to be cut when the cutting edge of the fixed knife is intersected with the cutting edge of the movable knife, but not to be cut in advance when the cutting edge of the movable knife moves towards the cutting edge of the fixed knife (namely, when the cutting edge of the movable knife is not intersected), and the structural design is needed.
The front end of the movable blade thread trimming action part is provided with a notch 13 for forming a movable blade thread trimming end 131, and the notch can be a U-shaped notch, a V-shaped notch or an arc notch. The front end of the active blade thread cutting action part is divided into two active blade thread cutting ends by the notch 13, so that one active blade thread cutting end is used for forking the bottom thread, and the other active blade thread cutting end is used for forking the surface thread (left waist line segment of the triangular line ring).
The groove 12 is provided with a concave hole 14 or a through hole 14 at the bottom of the other end of the groove, which is far away from the movable knife trimming end 131, the hole wall of the concave hole 14 and the inclined surface 11 form a movable knife blade, or the hole wall of the through hole 14 and the inclined surface 11 form a movable knife blade. Preferably, the through hole or the concave hole is an inclined hole to promote the blade edge of the movable blade to be sharper. The active part of the embroidery thread holding body acts on the groove bottom surface of the movable knife (see fig. 4 and 7), and specifically, the active part of the embroidery thread holding body acts on the groove bottom surface on the rear side of the notch and on the front side of the cutting edge of the movable knife.
The moving knife driving mechanism adopts the existing moving knife driving mechanism and comprises a knife bar, a swing arm and a rotating shaft connecting rod. The cutter arbor is vertical to be located on shuttle bed 5, the lower extreme of cutter arbor is connected the pivot connecting rod, swing arm one end is connected to the upper end of cutter arbor, and the swing arm other end has the driving piece, and when the cutter arbor drove the swing arm swing, the driving piece drove the sword motion. The drive member may be a pin, ball, bearing, pin, or the like. The present invention will not be described in detail, and reference is made to the prior patent application of the applicant.
Referring to fig. 9, the present invention further provides a thread cutting method of the embroidery machine, which is implemented by using the thread cutting device of the embroidery machine. The method is applied to the control end of the embroidery machine and comprises the following steps:
s10, controlling a needle to be lowered, and bringing the head of the upper thread below a needle plate;
step S20, after the thread end of the upper thread is brought below the needle plate, the movable cutter is controlled to hook the thread end of the upper thread to move towards the fixed cutter until the thread end stops at a stop limit position where the movable cutter and the fixed cutter are not closed; at the moment, the hooked upper thread is limited to the embroidery thread holding structure;
s30, controlling a machine needle to drop to finish embroidering of at least one stitch; and S40, controlling the movable knife to move from the stop position to the fixed knife, and cutting off the thread end of the facial line when the movable knife and the fixed knife are closed.
The method of the invention does not use the prior bottom thread retainer, namely, eliminates the structure of the bottom thread retainer on the thread cutting device of the prior embroidery machine, but adopts the thread cutting device with the embroidery thread retaining structure. The method controls the movable knife to execute two steps, namely hooking the upper thread and moving the upper thread to a stop limit to carry out upper thread constraint, and then executing thread cutting action after finishing embroidering at least one stitch.
The method of the invention also comprises the step of opening the movable knife to a position beyond the needle plate hole. In one embodiment, step S10 further includes: before the needle passes through the needle plate hole, the movable knife is controlled to be opened, so that the upper thread can pass through the needle plate hole and a space between the fixed knife and the movable knife, and then enters the rotating shuttle. In another embodiment, step S10 further comprises: after the upper thread end is taken to the lower part of the needle plate and before the next needle passes through the needle plate hole, the movable cutter is controlled to be opened, so that the upper thread can pass through the space between the fixed cutter and the movable cutter, and the upper thread can be hooked by the movable cutter. The former embodiment is performed before the operation of bringing the upper thread end under the needle plate is performed, and the latter embodiment is performed after the upper thread end is brought under the needle plate and before the operation of controlling the movable blade to hook the upper thread end to the stop limit is performed. The movable blade opening degree in the above two embodiments is to ensure that the distance between the movable trimming blade and the stationary trimming blade is sufficiently large, and the movable trimming blade does not interfere with operations such as needle setting. When the existing thread trimming device adopts two movable cutters, the opening degree between the two movable cutters needs to be controlled, like the way that the two movable cutters are controlled to be opened at the same time, or one movable cutter is controlled to be kept still as a thread trimming fixed cutter, and the other movable cutter is controlled to be opened.
The method of the present invention further comprises a needle thread clamping control. The method relies on the needle thread holder on the embroidery machine to perform. The upper thread gripper is the upper thread gripper on the existing embroidery machine. The invention ensures that the facial thread can be favorably bound and is not easy to break when being bound through facial thread clamping matching control. In one embodiment, the method of the present invention further comprises: before the lower needle of the needle is controlled to pass through the needle plate hole in the step S10, the upper thread gripper is controlled to clamp the upper thread, and then the step S10 is executed; after step S20 and before controlling the lower needle to pass through the needle hole at step S30, the control surface thread gripper is opened to release the upper thread, and then step S30 is performed. In another embodiment, the method of the present invention further comprises: before the lower needle is controlled to pass through the needle plate hole at step S10, the control surface thread gripper is opened to release the upper thread. In another embodiment, the method of the present invention further comprises: before the lower needle of the machine needle is controlled to penetrate through the needle plate hole in the step S10, the control needle clamp is opened to loosen the upper thread; before the upper thread head is brought below the needle plate and the needle moves back from the lowest position to the lower needle is controlled to pass through the needle plate hole in the step S30, the upper thread is clamped by the control thread clamp; the upper thread gripper is controlled to open before the lower needle is controlled to pass through the needle plate hole in step S30 to release the upper thread, after which step S30 is executed. Compared with the three embodiments, the upper thread head controlled by the first embodiment is shortest, and waste threads are less; in the second embodiment, the lower thread is always in a loose state, the take-up lever releases the thread, the needle falls, more upper threads are pulled, the thread end of the cut upper threads is longest, more waste threads exist, and even waste thread accumulation can be caused; the third embodiment has more complex control, and the thread released by the thread take-up lever can be clamped by the thread clamp holder for a period of time, so that the thread hooked by the rotating shuttle can be prevented from being drawn back and even leaving the needle plate hole. The first and third embodiments described above may determine the specific needle thread gripping timing according to the length of the cut thread. Wherein the length of the upper thread end cut by the third embodiment is larger than that of the upper thread end cut by the first embodiment and smaller than that of the upper thread end cut by the second embodiment.
The reason for completing the stitch embroidery in step S30 is to complete the upper thread locking, and to ensure that the embroidery thread is cut off after being pulled out. Under one embodiment, step S30 includes: controlling the machine needle to descend, controlling the rotating shuttle to hook the upper thread and form a coil, then sheathing the bottom thread, and completing the embroidery of one stitch after the upper thread is tightly pulled. In another embodiment, the step S30 includes: controlling the machine needle to descend, controlling the rotating shuttle to hook the upper thread and form a coil, then sheathing the bottom thread, and completing the embroidery of one stitch after the upper thread is tightly pulled; and controlling the machine needle to drop the needle again, controlling the rotating shuttle to hook the upper thread and form a coil, then sheathing the bottom thread, and completing the embroidery of a second stitch after the upper thread is tightly pulled. After one stitch embroidery is finished, the embroidery thread can be pulled tightly, and then the thread end of the upper thread is cut off. In order to ensure that the upper thread can effectively cover the lower thread, two-stitch embroidery is preferably performed. The invention is not limited to finish the embroidery of one stitch or two stitches, and can also finish the embroidery of a plurality of stitches according to the requirement so as to solve the technical problem of the invention.
The method of the present invention further includes, before step S10, presetting the distance that the movable blade moves from the initial open position to the stop limit position. The embroidery thread holding structure is used for holding the position of the bottom thread to be fixed, and the distance from the initial opening position to the limit stop position of the movable knife is determined according to the distance between the movable knife and the embroidery thread holding structure. The distance from the moving knife to the stopping limit is set according to the rotation angle of the main shaft of the embroidery machine, when a thread cutting stopping limit instruction is received, the moving knife is controlled to move to the stopping limit for stopping according to the preset distance, and when the thread cutting action instruction is received, the moving knife moves from the stopping limit to the direction of the thread cutting fixed knife, so that thread cutting is realized.
The method of the present invention further includes, before step S10, holding the bobbin thread using an embroidery thread holding structure.
The upper thread gripper and the thread take-up lever are all the existing components in the embroidery machine. During embroidery operation, the take-up lever is used for controlling the take-up lever to supply and recover a proper amount of upper thread in each working period of the thread trace forming process, and the thread trace rules of the take-up lever for paying off and taking up follow a sine curve. The upper thread gripper clamps the upper thread during non-embroidery operation and releases the upper thread during embroidery operation. The invention aims to describe the matching control principle of the components in the thread cutting process, other control principles are not repeated in the embroidery machine embroidering process, and the working principles of the upper thread gripper, the thread take-up lever and the like follow the inherent execution instruction of the embroidery machine.
It will be appreciated by persons skilled in the art that the embodiments of the invention described above and shown in the drawings are given by way of example only and are not limiting of the invention. The objects of the present invention have been fully and effectively accomplished. The functional and structural principles of the present invention have been shown and described in the examples, and any variations or modifications of the embodiments of the present invention may be made without departing from the principles.
