Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of daily chemical articles, in particular to a compound thickening agent, a preparation method and application thereof, anhydrous toothpaste and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The toothpaste is a mixture of solid phase and liquid phase, the thickening agent can make the toothpaste have proper viscosity, the paste body is in a strip shape and has a good framework, and the toothpaste is stable in storage period and does not separate water. The organic thickener usually needs to be dispersed and swelled in a system with free water to play a thickening role, and can only be dispersed but not play a thickening role under an oily humectant system. Therefore, the carbomer is selected as the thickening agent of the anhydrous toothpaste under the oily humectant system.
However, carbomer as a thickener has long stirring time, and usually needs to be stirred for more than 4 hours under the condition of heating to 80 ℃, so that the production time and the cost are increased; the finished toothpaste is easy to agglomerate and cannot be opened in the subsequent toothpaste making step, so that the finished toothpaste has a rough appearance and has an agglomeration phenomenon; meanwhile, the prepared paste body is thinner and thinner along with the increase of the stirring time, and the filling of the toothpaste production is not facilitated.
In view of the above, the present invention is particularly proposed.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the embodiments of the present invention. The components of embodiments of the present invention may be arranged and designed in a wide variety of different configurations.
It is noted that, herein, relational terms such as first and second, and the like may be used solely to distinguish one entity or action from another entity or action without necessarily requiring or implying any actual such relationship or order between such entities or actions. Also, the terms "comprises," "comprising," or any other variation thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements does not include only those elements but may include other elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus.
The first aspect of the invention provides a compound thickener, which consists of a thickener and a humectant;
wherein the thickening agent is xanthan gum and carrageenan.
According to the compound thickener provided by the invention, the gum and the carrageenan compound humectant are used as a hair spray system, the viscosity can reach 3312cp at normal temperature, the obtained paste body has fine appearance, good stiffness and long retention time, and cannot become thin along with subsequent processing shearing, so that the difficulty of production and filling is reduced. The invention can reach the required consistency by using less thickening agent, has shorter hair styling time and improves the production efficiency.
The xanthan gum and the carrageenan used in the invention are used as natural substances, and the safety is higher compared with that of an organic synthetic thickener.
Optionally, the thickener is 0.2 to 1 part by weight, and the humectant is 40 to 70 parts by weight.
When the amount of the humectant is fixed and the weight part of the thickener is less than 0.2 part, the paste has collapsed appearance, poor formability, difficult filling and poor stability; when the weight part of the thickening agent is more than 1 part,
the paste has too large consistency, which is not beneficial to filling and extrusion in the using process.
When the amount of the thickening agent is certain and the weight part of the humectant is less than 40 parts, the extrusion pressure of the paste body under the low-temperature condition is increased, and the taste is poor; when the weight part of the humectant is more than 70 parts, the paste is easy to produce oil, and the stability in the storage period is influenced.
In some embodiments of the invention, the weight part of the thickener is typically, but not limited to, 0.2 part, 0.4 part, 0.6 part, 0.8 part, or 1 part; the humectant is typically, but not limited to, 40 parts, 45 parts, 50 parts, 55 parts, 60 parts, or 70 parts by weight.
Preferably, the weight ratio of the xanthan gum to the carrageenan in the thickener is 0.25-5.
When the weight ratio of the xanthan gum to the carrageenan is less than 0.25; when the weight ratio of the xanthan gum to the carrageenan is more than 5, the paste has low viscosity and poor stability. The weight ratio of the xanthan gum to the carrageenan is 2-4 to 1, the viscosity of the compound thickener is generally higher, and the highest viscosity is achieved when the weight ratio is 4.
In some embodiments of the invention, the weight ratio of xanthan gum to carrageenan is typically, but not limited to, 0.25.
Optionally, the humectant comprises at least one of glycerin, propylene glycol, and polyethylene glycol.

Table 1 table of viscosity data
viscosity/cP | |
Example 1 | 2096 |
Example 2 | 2164 |
Example 3 | 2224 |
Example 4 | 2492 |
Example 5 | 3312 |
Comparative example 1 | 984 |
Comparative example 2 | 2064 |
Comparative example 3 | 1892 |
Comparative example 4 | 2864 |
As can be seen from table 1, the compounding of carrageenan and xanthan gum in different proportions has a synergistic effect, which is specifically represented by an increase in viscosity, and when the ratio of carrageenan to xanthan gum is 4:1 is optimal. The carbomer in comparative example 3 had a long hair spray, incomplete hair spray, lumping, and low viscosity at the same processing time as examples 1-5 and comparative examples 1-2. Comparative example 4 still had a lumping phenomenon at a hair spray time of 90min, and the viscosity was lower than that of example 5.
Examples 6 to 10
The embodiment provides anhydrous toothpaste, wherein 0.3kg of titanium dioxide, 0.12kg of sucralose, 0.76kg of sodium monofluorophosphate, 5kg of potassium nitrate, 2kg of bioactive glass, 0.3kg of zinc citrate, 2.5kg of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 20kg of silicon dioxide and 1.2kg of mint-flavor essence are respectively added into the compound thickening agent provided in the embodiments 1 to 5, and the mixture is subjected to homogeneous stirring and grinding, wherein the processes are all operated in a vacuum environment, and the vacuum degree is required to reach-0.096 Mpa for 20min, so that the anhydrous toothpaste is prepared.

The anhydrous toothpastes obtained in examples 6 to 10 and comparative examples 5 to 7 were applied to the same kind of toothbrush, and the column-shaped retention time of the toothpastes was counted, and the specific data are shown in Table 2.
TABLE 2 column retention time
Time/s | |
Example 6 | 25 |
Example 7 | 26 |
Example 8 | 24 |
Example 9 | 30 |
Example 10 | 40 |
Comparative example 5 | 18 |
Comparative example 6 | 16 |
Comparative example 7 | 9 |
It can be seen from table 2 that different proportions of carrageenan and xanthan gum are compounded to have the effect of increasing the stiffness, which is specifically shown in that the column retention time is increased, and the ratio of carrageenan to xanthan gum is 4:1 is optimal. In comparative example 5 and comparative example 6, the single component xanthan gum or carrageenan was used, and the stiffness was better than that of comparative example 7 but still worse than those of examples 6 to 10, in particular, the column retention time was longer than that of comparative example 7 but shorter than those of examples 6 to 10. The carbomer of comparative example 7 had a long hair setting time but the worst hold, as evidenced by the shortest column retention time.
