The following is a detailed description of examples of the present specification.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the present invention provides a color separation spray coating method. First, the surface of the substrate 10 is divided into the boundary color region 11, the first color region 12, and the second color region 13. The three areas correspond to paint layers of different colors, respectively. The two sides of the boundary color zone 11 are connected to the first color zone 12 and the second color zone 13, and the three zones are distributed continuously.
The division of the surface area of the substrate 10 may be predetermined by product design. The colors finally presented by the paint layer 20 correspond to three regions, including the boundary color region 11, the first color region 12, and the second color region 13. The color separation area 11 separates the first color area 12 and the second color area 13, and realizes color separation processing of the paint on the surface of the element.
In the embodiment shown in the drawings, the surface of the substrate 10 is a smooth plane, and the substrate 10 has a uniform thickness. In other alternative embodiments, the surface of the substrate 10 may have protrusions or depressions, and the positions of the protrusions or depressions may be located in only one region, or may be distributed in more than two regions, and the color separation spraying method of the present invention may be applied. In a particular application, the substrate 10 may be an interior trim panel or a body panel of an automobile.
According to different design requirements, the demarcation color zone 11 not only serves as an intermediate zone for color separation processing, but also can be simultaneously applied as a decorative line, and is correspondingly designed into a regular or irregular pattern. In the intermediate region of the color separation process, the width of the boundary color region 11 is smaller than the widths of the first color region 12 and the second color region 13.
Next, a boundary color paint 21 is sprayed on the surface of the substrate 10 to cover at least the boundary color region 11. As shown in fig. 3, after the application of the boundary color paint 21 is completed, the boundary color paint 21 partially covers the first color region 12 and the second color region 13 in addition to the boundary color region 11.
A first color paint 22 is then sprayed on the surface of the substrate 10 to cover at least the first color region 12. As shown in fig. 4, after the painting, the first color paint 22 covers not only the first color region 12 but also partial regions of the boundary color region 11 and the second color region 13. The color-dividing region 11 is covered with paints of two colors at the same time, and the thickness of the paint in the color-dividing region 11 is larger than that in the first color region 12. The first color zone 12 is a finished surface that has been finished.
In an alternative embodiment, the tooling may also be preset to cover the second color zone 13. When spraying the first color paint 22, the first color paint 22 is prevented from being sprayed to the second color region 13. In this step, the overall spraying process can be simplified without the provision of tooling.
Again, the first color region 12 is masked and a second color paint 23 is sprayed. As shown in fig. 5 and 6, specifically, when the second color paint 23 is sprayed, the first color region 12 on which the first color paint 22 has been sprayed is shielded by the tool 14 to prevent the second color paint 23 from being sprayed onto the first color region 12. The second color zone 13 is a finished surface that has been finished. After the painting, the second color paint 23 covers not only the second color region 13 but also the boundary color region 11 and a partial region of the tool 14. At this time, the boundary color region 11 is covered with three layers of paint, which are a boundary region paint 21, a first color paint 22 and a second color paint 23 from bottom to top in sequence.
Finally, the boundary color area 11 is processed by a laser engraving method until the boundary color paint 21 is exposed. As shown in fig. 7, the first color paint 22 and the second color paint 23 on the boundary color region 11 are removed by laser engraving in the boundary color region 11. After finishing the processing, the boundary color area 11 is provided with the uniform boundary color paint 21.
In the embodiment of fig. 7, in order to completely remove the paint of the excessive color in the boundary color region 11 and facilitate the processing, a partial thickness of the boundary color paint 21 may be processed simultaneously during the laser engraving process, so that the thickness of the boundary color paint 21 is less than or equal to the thickness of the first color paint 22 and the second color paint 23.
As can be seen from the above method, the three areas each show a different color on the upper surface after laser engraving, but for the first color area 12 or the second color area 13, the area below the paint layer of the surface also includes paint of other colors. As can be seen from fig. 7, in the first color region 12, a partial region below the first color paint 22 includes the boundary color paint 21; in the second color region 13, a partial region below the second color paint 23 includes the first color paint 22 and the cut color paint 21.
Depending on the pattern of the border color region 11, the border line between the border color region 11 and the first color region 12 or the second color region 13 may be a straight line or a curved line after laser engraving. Due to the characteristics of the laser engraving process, the accuracy of the boundary between the boundary color region 11 and the first and second color regions 12 and 13 is 0.06mm.
The demarcation color paint 21 is a different color than the first color paint 22 and the second color paint 23. In one embodiment, when the demarcation color zone is applied as a decorative line, the demarcation color paint, the first color paint and the second color paint may be two colors of paint, i.e. the first color paint and the second color paint are the same color of paint.
In other alternative embodiments, a method such as tooling, increasing the machining process, or controlling the machining precision may be further utilized to obtain an element with higher overall machining precision, as shown in fig. 8. The paint layer 20 has a uniform thickness over the substrate 10, and the boundary color region 11, the first color region 12, and the second color region 13 are sprayed with paint of only a single color.
As shown in fig. 7, the device manufactured by the color separation spraying method of the present invention includes a substrate 10 and a paint layer 20 covering the surface of the substrate 10, wherein the paint layer 20 includes a boundary color region 11, a first color region 12 and a second color region 13. The boundary color region 11 separates the first color region 12 and the second color region 13, the boundary color region 11 is a secondary processing region of spraying and laser engraving, and the first color region 12 and the second color region 13 are primary processing regions of spraying.
The painting process of the boundary color region 11 is performed first, and the laser engraving process of the boundary color region 11 is performed after the painting process of the first color region 12 and the second color region 13. That is, the first color region 12 and the second color region 13 are processed earlier than the boundary color region 11, and the boundary color region 11 is the final completed region.
The boundary color region 11, the first color region 12, and the second color region 13 are three different colors. In an alternative embodiment, the demarcation color zone 11, the first color zone 12 and the second color zone 13 can also be two different colors, i.e. the first color zone 12 and the second color zone 13 are the same color.
The boundary color region 11, the first color region 12, and the second color region 13 have the same thickness. The thickness of the paint in the boundary color region 11 is less than or equal to the thickness of the paint in the first color region 12 and the second color region 13. The width of the boundary color region 11 is smaller than the widths of the first color region 12 and the second color region 13.
The first color region 12 includes a first color paint 22 and a demarcation color paint 21 located between the first color paint 22 and the substrate 10. The second color zone 13 includes a second color paint 23 and first color paint 22 and demarcation color paint 21 located between the second color paint 23 and the substrate 10.
In another embodiment, the thicknesses of the substrate corresponding to the boundary color region 11, the first color region 12 and the second color region 13 are different.
The border color region 11 is a regular or irregular shape pattern. The boundary between the boundary color region 11 and the first color region 12 or the second color region 13 is a straight line or a curved line, and the accuracy of the boundary is 0.06mm.
The color separation spraying method provided by the invention does not need to open a groove or set a step at the color boundary, and has low requirements on the modeling of the base material 10; moreover, the boundary accuracy of the boundary color region 11 is high by adopting the laser engraving method, and the feasibility of mass production is realized.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the scope of the present invention.
