The method comprises the following steps: preparing a cooling wall body, and integrally casting a straight-through water pipe in the wall body; a groove is integrally cast on one side of the wall body; preparing a snakelike water-cooling copper pipe; putting the manufactured snake-shaped water-cooling copper pipe into a groove of a cast iron/cast steel cooling wall body; and fixing the snakelike water-cooling copper pipe in the groove by using a heat conduction material. The invention not only realizes the reinforced blast furnace cooling, but also can obviously reduce the construction cost by adopting a mode of placing the copper pipe in the groove of the cooling wall inlaid brick on the basis of the cast iron or cast steel cooling wall.

However, the price of copper is much higher than that of cast iron and cast steel, and the use of the copper cooling wall greatly increases the construction cost of the blast furnace.
