The tongue 1114 is preferably a plastic spacer ring.
The conductive terminal 12 includes a first conductive part 121 and a second conductive part 122, and the first conductive part 121 is received in the receiving cavity 1115, so that the first conductive part 121 can be isolated by the tongue plate 1114, thereby avoiding electric shock of a user. The first conductive part 121 is used to interface with the plug 20 to transmit power. In this embodiment, the first conductive part 121 is provided in a cylindrical shape. The second conductive part 122 is held in the base 1111 and is used for electrically connecting with the power line 30, thereby obtaining power.
The fixing base 112 includes a bottom wall 1121 and side walls 1122 disposed on two sides of the bottom wall 1121. The bottom wall 1121 and the side wall 1122 are surrounded to form a receiving cavity 1123 for receiving the light strip 40 (as shown in fig. 8 and 9). A first engaging portion 11221 is provided on an outer wall surface of the side wall 1122. The end cap 113 is used to cooperate with the fixing base 112 to fix the light strip 40 in the accommodating cavity 1123. The plug terminal 22 includes a mating portion 221 for mating with the conductive terminal 12 and a contact portion 222 electrically connected to the light strip 40. The abutting portion 221 is shaped like a hollow needle, and can be inserted into the first conductive portion 121, so that the abutting portion 221 and the first conductive portion 121 are electrically connected. The contact portion 222 includes a contact arm 2221 and an extension arm 2222 bent and extended from one end of the contact arm 2221. The extension 213 is at least partially covered by the contact arm 2221 and the extension arm 2222.
In brief, the plug terminal 22 of the present invention is formed by bending a metal plate, so that the bending size can be adjusted according to different cross sections of the lamp strip 40, and the manufacture is convenient; the abutting portion 221 is a round pin structure, and is conveniently inserted into the receiving cavity 1115 to electrically contact with the first conductive portion 121, the contact portion 222 is a square structure, and the contact arm 2221 and the extension arm 2222 tightly wrap the extension portion 213, so that the rigidity of the contact portion 222 can be effectively enhanced, the plug terminal 22 is prevented from being deformed, and the phenomena of incomplete contact, looseness and the like are avoided. Preferably, the two extension arms 2222 are symmetrically disposed at both sides of the contact arm 2221.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, the plug terminal 22 further includes a connecting portion 223 connecting the abutting portion 221 and the contact arm 2221, and the connecting portion 223 extends obliquely, so that the plane of the contact arm 2221 is lower than the plane of the abutting portion 223, and thus the height of the contact portion 222 can be adjusted according to the bottom thickness of the light strip 40, so that the extension arm 2222 can support the lamp tube of the light strip 40, and the contact arm 2221 can tightly adhere to the circuit board 41 of the light strip 40 to make effective contact. Of course, if the tube of the light strip 40 is thick enough, the connecting portion 223 may be arranged to extend horizontally, and is not limited herein.
Further, the extension arm 2222 and the extension part 213 are both provided with a chamfer to facilitate the insertion of the extension arm 2222 and the extension part 213 into the lamp tube of the lamp strip 40. Specifically, a first guide surface 2131 extending obliquely is provided on a side of the extending portion 213 facing the lamp strip 40 to guide the insertion of the plug 20 into the lamp strip 40; in the thickness direction of the insulating body 21, the extension height of the extension arm 2222 is the same as the extension height of the extension part 213, a second guide surface 2223 extending obliquely is also provided on the side of the extension arm 2222 facing the lamp strip 40, and the first guide surface 2131 and the second guide surface 2223 are coplanar. Further, the extension arm 2222 and the extension portion 213 are configured to be in interference fit with the lamp tube of the lamp strip 40, so that the contact arm 2221 can be tightly attached to the circuit board 41 of the lamp strip 40, thereby effectively avoiding the problem of poor contact. Preferably, the height of the extension arm 2222 and the extension 213 can be selected to be increased appropriately to achieve an interference fit between the plug 20 and the light strip 40, so as to improve the reliability of electrical contact and prevent the plug 20 from falling off during installation.
Furthermore, the insulating body 21 is further provided with a force receiving slot 2111, and after the plug 20 is inserted into the accommodating slot 1113, the force receiving slot 2111 is exposed in the fixing seat 112, so that when the plug is detached, a user can eject the plug 20 through the force receiving slot 2111.
Referring to fig. 10, in another embodiment of the plug 20, the insulating body 21 and the plug terminal 22 are integrally formed by injection molding, and the base 211 is further provided with a rib 2112 extending in a direction away from the socket 10. In the width direction of the insulating body 21, the extension arm 2222 is fit to the bone site 2112 and is at least partially located between the bone site 2112 and the extension part 213. So set up, can further strengthen the tight fit effect of plug 20 with the lamp area 40.
When the connector assembly 100 of the present invention is used, the plug 20 is first inserted into the light strip 40, then the plug 20 and the light strip 40 are integrally inserted into the socket 10, and finally, the end cap 113 is snap-connected to the fixing base 112.
In summary, compared with the prior art, in the connector assembly 100 of the present invention, the contact arm 2221 and the extension arm 2222 are utilized to cover the extension portion 213 to enhance the strength of the plug terminal 22, so that the plug terminal 22 is not deformed, and the phenomena of incomplete contact, looseness, etc. are avoided.
Although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
