背景技术

电子组件包括具有多个导电迹线104的电路板,下文中称为印刷电路板(PCB)102。PCB 102可以使用由环氧树脂或聚酰亚胺树脂形成的电路板基板。树脂可用编织玻璃布或其他基体(诸如,短切纤维)加固。由此类材料形成的基板通常被称为FR-4或G-10型电路板。PCB 102可以替代地由陶瓷或刚性聚合物材料构成。可接受的基板材料的该列举并非详尽无遗,并且也可成功使用其他材料。导电材料(诸如铜基材料)层被电镀在PCB 102的至少一个主表面上。随后通常通过使用化学、光化学、辐射(例如,激光、电子束、X射线、伽马辐射)和/或机械蚀刻工艺来蚀刻导电材料层,以创建导电迹线和第二接触区域。替代地,形成导电迹线的导电材料层可以丝网(screen)印刷在基板上。
电子组件100进一步包括设置在PCB 102上并且与多个导电迹线104互连的电子部件106,从而形成设置在PCB 102上的电子电路,诸如无线电接收器、无线电发射器、或无线电收发器电路。电子部件106可以包括但不限于集成电路、晶体管、二极管、电容器、电感器和电阻器。
图1至图10所示的电子组件进一步包括多个同轴线缆连接器108,多个同轴线缆连接器108电连接到PCB 102上的多个导电迹线104。本文所示的同轴线缆连接器108符合美国汽车研究委员会(USCAR)USCAR-18标准。同轴线缆连接器108提供电子组件100与交通工具中的另一电子电路(未示出)之间的电连接。电子组件100的图示实施例具有四个同轴连接器,但电子组件100的其他实施例可包含更多或更少的同轴连接器,这取决于电子组件的特定预期应用。
电子组件100还包括多个柔性电端子110、112,多个柔性电端子110、112被配置成经由设置在玻璃表面16上或设置在玻璃表面16内的电接触垫而附接到天线元件12,并且电连接到PCB 102上的多个导电迹线104。
电子组件100附加地包括壳体114,壳体114包围或封围整个PCB 102、多个柔性电端子110、112的一部分、以及同轴线缆连接器108的一部分。示例壳体114由介电聚合物材料形成并且为PCB 102、多个导电迹线104和电子部件106提供保护,特别是保护其免受环境污染物的影响。壳体114可以通过如以下在方法200中所描述的包覆成型来形成,使得壳体114与PCB 102、多个柔性电端子110、112的一部分、以及同轴线缆连接器108的一部分紧密接触。
电子组件100进一步包括设置在壳体114的外表面上的粘合层116。该粘合层116被配置成将电子组件100固定到玻璃表面16。
如图1至图5所示,多个柔性电端子110由片状金属材料形成。多个柔性电端子110中的每个端子限定弯曲或蛇形曲线。多个柔性电端子110从诸如镀锡的铜材料之类的平面金属片切割,并且弯曲或折叠成具有蛇形曲线的期望形状。这些蛇形曲线为多个柔性电端子112提供柔性。柔性电端子的自由端焊接到玻璃表面16上的接触垫,优选地通过包含铟的无铅焊料来焊接。
如图6至图10所示,多个柔性电端子112由扁平柔性线缆118形成。扁平柔性线缆118设置在玻璃板18与玻璃窗22的聚合物层之间。导电天线元件14嵌入层压玻璃板18之间并与电触点电互连,优选地通过无铅含铟焊料来电互连。
扁平柔性线缆118由薄导电层形成并且设置在两个聚合物层之间。两个聚合物层优选由聚酰亚胺聚合物形成,诸如由特拉华州威尔明顿的杜邦公司(Dupont de Nemours,Inc.)制造的KAPTON。
图11的流程图中示出了制造电子组件100的方法200。方法200的各个步骤概述如下:
步骤202,“提供具有多个导电迹线和形成设置在电路板上的无线电接收器电路的电子部件的电路板”,包括提供电路板,例如PCB 102,该电路板具有多个导电迹线104和形成设置在该电路板上的电子电路的电子部件106;
步骤204,“将被配置成附接到设置在玻璃表面上的电触点的多个柔性电端子连接到多个导电迹线”,包括将多个柔性电端子110、112连接到多个导电迹线,多个柔性电端子110、112被配置成附接到设置在玻璃表面16、18上的电触点;
步骤206,“将同轴线缆连接器连接到多个导电迹线”,包括将同轴线缆连接器108连接到多个导电迹线104;
步骤208,“通过用介电聚合物材料对电路板、多个柔性电端子的一部分、和同轴线缆连接器的一部分进行包覆成型来形成壳体”,包括通过用介电聚合物材料对PCB 102、多个柔性电端子110、112的一部分、和同轴线缆连接器108的一部分进行包覆成型来形成壳体;
步骤210,“将多个柔性电端子连接到设置在玻璃表面上的电触点,该玻璃表面具有设置在其上的导电天线元件,该导电天线元件与电触点电互连”,包括将多个柔性电端子110、112附接到设置在玻璃表面16、18上的电触点,玻璃表面16、18具有设置在其上的导电天线元件12、14,导电天线元件12、14与电触点电互连;
步骤212,“将扁平柔性线缆设置在玻璃表面与聚合物层之间”,是可选步骤,其包括将扁平柔性线缆118设置在玻璃表面16与聚合物层之间;以及
步骤214,“将扁平柔性线缆连接到电触点,该电触点与设置在玻璃表面上的导电天线元件电互连”,是可选步骤,其包括将扁平柔性线缆118连接到电触点,该电触点与设置在玻璃表面18上的导电天线元件14电互连。
因此,提供了适合安装到玻璃窗的电子组件和制造这种电子组件的方法。该组件和方法提供了如下益处:将电子组件直接连接到窗上的天线元件,从而消除了对如以上背景技术部分中所描述的外部安装的鲨翅天线模块的需要。该组件和方法还消除了对通过尾线(wire pigtail)连接到窗上的天线元件的天线放大器模块的需要。
虽然已参照一个或多个示例性实施例对本发明进行了描述,然而本领域的技术人员将理解,可作出各种变化并且可用等效物替代其中的要素而不背离本发明的范围。此外,可以进行许多修改以使特定情况或材料适应本发明的教导而不脱离本发明的本质范围。因此,本发明不限于所公开的一个或多个实施例,但本发明将包括落入随附权利要求的范围内的所有实施例。

Claims (20)

1.一种电子组件(100),包括:
电路板(102),所述电路板(102)具有多个导电迹线(104)和形成设置在所述电路板(102)上的电子电路的电子部件(106);
多个柔性电端子(110),所述多个柔性电端子(110)被配置成附接到电触点,所述电触点设置在玻璃表面(16)上并且电连接到所述多个导电迹线(104);以及
同轴线缆连接器(108),所述同轴线缆连接器(108)电连接到所述多个导电迹线(110)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,进一步包括:
壳体(114),所述壳体(114)封围所述电路板(102)、所述多个柔性电端子(110)的一部分、和所述同轴线缆连接器(108)的一部分。
3.根据权利要求2所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述壳体(114)包围所述电路板(102)、所述多个柔性电端子(110)的所述一部分、和所述同轴线缆连接器(108)的所述一部分。
4.根据权利要求2所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述壳体(114)与所述电路板(102)、所述多个柔性电端子(110)的所述一部分、和所述同轴线缆连接器(108)的所述一部分紧密接触。
5.根据权利要求2所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,进一步包括:
粘合层(116),所述粘合层(116)设置在所述壳体(114)的外表面上,并且被配置成将所述电子组件(100)固定到所述平面玻璃表面(16)。
6.根据权利要求6所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,进一步包括:
设置在所述玻璃表面(16)上的所述电触点;以及
导电天线元件,所述导电天线元件设置在所述玻璃表面(16)上并且与所述电触点电互连。
7.根据权利要求2所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述多个柔性电端子(110)由扁平柔性线缆形成。
8.根据权利要求7所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,进一步包括:
设置在所述玻璃表面(18)上的所述电触点,其中所述扁平柔性线缆(118)设置在所述玻璃表面(18)与聚合物层之间;以及
导电天线元件,所述导电天线元件设置在所述玻璃表面(18)上并且与所述电触点电互连。
9.根据权利要求7所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述多个柔性电端子(110)由薄导电层形成并且设置在两个聚合物层之间。
10.根据权利要求9所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述两个聚合物层由聚酰亚胺聚合物形成。
11.根据权利要求1所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述多个柔性电端子(110)由片状金属材料形成,其中所述多个柔性电端子(110)中的每个端子限定蛇形曲线,并且其中所述蛇形曲线为所述多个柔性电端子(110)提供柔性。
12.根据权利要求1所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述电子电路是无线电接收器电路。
13.根据权利要求1所述的电子组件(100),其特征在于,所述电子电路是无线电发射器电路。
14.一种制造电子组件(100)的方法(200),包括:
提供电路板(102),所述电路板(102)具有多个导电迹线(104)和形成设置在所述电路板(102)上的电子电路的电子部件(106);
将多个柔性电端子(110)连接到所述多个导电迹线(104),所述多个柔性电端子(110)被配置成附接到电触点,所述电触点设置在玻璃表面(16)上;
将同轴线缆连接器(108)连接到所述多个导电迹线(104);以及
通过用介电聚合物材料对所述电路板(102)、所述多个柔性电端子(110)的一部分、和所述同轴线缆连接器(108)的一部分进行包覆成型,来形成壳体(114)。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法(200),其特征在于,所述壳体(114)与所述电路板(102)、所述多个柔性电端子(110)的一部分、和所述同轴线缆连接器(108)的一部分紧密接触。
16.根据权利要求14所述的方法(200),其特征在于,进一步包括:
将所述多个柔性电端子(110)附接到设置在玻璃表面(16)上的电触点上,所述玻璃表面(16)具有设置在所述玻璃表面(16)上的导电天线元件,所述导电天线元件与所述电触点电互连;以及
将所述壳体(114)附接到所述玻璃表面(16)。
17.根据权利要求14所述的方法(200),其特征在于,所述多个柔性电端子(110)由扁平柔性线缆(118)形成,其中所述方法进一步包括:
将所述扁平柔性线缆(118)设置在所述玻璃表面(18)与聚合物层之间;以及
将所述扁平柔性线缆(118)连接到所述电触点,所述电触点与设置在所述玻璃表面(18)上的导电天线元件电互连。
18.根据权利要求14所述的方法(200),其特征在于,所述多个柔性电端子(110)由片状金属材料形成,其中所述多个柔性电端子(110)中的每个端子限定蛇形曲线,并且其中所述蛇形曲线为所述多个柔性电端子(110)提供柔性。
19.根据权利要求14所述的方法(200),其特征在于,所述电子电路是无线电接收器电路。
20.根据权利要求14所述的方法(200),其特征在于,所述电子电路是无线电发射器电路。
