The connector is used as a bridge for connecting components and has the functions of conducting signals and currents, and the flexibility and convenience of electronic product assembly, maintenance and upgrading are greatly improved by using the connector. The linker welded on the printed circuit board (Printed Circuit Board, PCB) board after the liquid is fed into the periphery of the electronic product is easy to short-circuit and cause electrochemical corrosion to cause functional failure.
Taking a Board To Board (BTB) connector widely used as an example, one of the existing BTB connector protection technologies in the industry is as shown in fig. 1, in which a frame-shaped foam/rubber ring 2 is attached to the periphery of a BTB connector body 1, and the foam/rubber ring 2 is compressed between a BTB male reinforcement steel plate 3 and a PCB 4 to realize plugging, and the technology mainly has the following problems: 1) Occupying the space of the veneer, the foam/rubber ring needs to have a certain width, and devices around the BTB need to avoid the space; 2) The foam/rubber ring needs to have a certain compression amount, which is higher than the height of the BTB female head to influence the buckling; 3) In order to realize compression and top sealing, the size of the BTB male head reinforced steel plate needs to be increased; 4) The sizes of the BTBs are different, the design, the processing and the fitting are customized according to the size of each BTB, and the manufacturing process is complex; 5) The long-term compression reverse elasticity of foam is reduced, and the protection effect is reduced.
