Abstract

本申请实施例提供一种多播通信方法及通信装置,可通过终端设备建立的PDU会话实现多播业务的数据的传输,从而提高网元的利用率。其中,该方法可包括:AF网元向会话管理网元发送用于指示第一多播业务的第一多播业务指示信息;会话管理网元根据第一多播业务指示信息,向服务终端设备的接入网络设备发送多播业务信息;接入网络设备根据多播业务信息,建立终端设备与第一多播业务之间的关联关系,从而在接收到第一多播业务的数据时,可以通过PDU会话向终端设备发送第一多播业务的数据;会话管理网元还向用户面网元发送第一多播业务的转发规则信息,以便用户面网元根据该转发规则信息向接入网络设备发送第一多播业务的数据。
