Detailed Description
The present invention provides a door lock actuator for a household appliance, which is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the description of the present invention, it is to be understood that the terms "left side", "right side", "upper", "lower", "bottom", etc., indicate orientations or positional relationships based on those shown in the drawings, and are only for convenience of describing the present invention and simplifying the description, but do not indicate or imply that the device or element referred to must have a specific orientation, be constructed and operated in a specific orientation, "first", "second", etc., do not represent an important degree of the component parts, and thus are not to be construed as limiting the present invention. The specific dimensions and values used in the present embodiment are only for illustrating the technical solutions, and do not limit the protection scope of the present invention. The following embodiments are all exemplified by using the safety door lock of the present invention in a dishwasher, but it should be noted that the safety door lock of the present invention is not limited to be applied to a dishwasher.
Referring to fig. 1, the present invention discloses a door lock actuator for a home appliance, which includes a bottom case 101, a latch arm, and a locking mechanism. Generally, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the latch arms include a first latch arm 105 and a second latch arm 107. The first latch arm 105 and the second latch arm 107 are symmetrically hinged on the bottom case 101, one end of the first latch arm 105 and the second latch arm 107 for cooperating with the door latch 106 is a first latch arm head end 109 and a second latch arm head end 110 respectively, the other end is a first latch arm tail end 112 and a second latch arm tail end 111 respectively, and the first latch arm head end 109 and the second latch arm head end 110 are connected through a first elastic element 108. The first elastic element 108 is typically a tension spring or a snap spring for pulling the first latch arm head 109 and the second latch arm head 110 closer or closer. Simply, by placing the locking block 102 between the first latch arm tail end 112 and the second latch arm tail end 111, the first latch arm 105 and the second latch arm 107 are limited from moving, and the first latch arm head end 109 and the second latch arm head end 110 lock the door latch 106, thereby realizing the locking function.
Preferably, the first latch arm trailing end 112 and the second latch arm trailing end 111 have a locking surface 113. As shown in fig. 1, 4, 5 and 6, the locking mechanism includes a lock block 102, the lock block 102 is mounted on the bottom case 101 through a shaft 103, and one end of the lock block 102 has a locking surface 114. The lock surface 114 is pressed against the lock surface 113, whereby the lock function of the door lock is realized. The locking surfaces 113, 114 are generally convex, although flat surfaces are also possible. When at least one of the locking surface 113 and the locking surface 114 is a convex surface, the contact position of the locking surface 113 and the locking surface 114 is flexible, even if the latch arm or the locking block is damaged or moves in the use process of the door lock, the contact mode of the locking surface and the locking surface can compensate the position deviation, and the stable locking effect is ensured.
A simpler way is to provide a mounting groove 115 in the side of the locking piece, and to mount a torsion spring in the mounting groove 115, which can press the locking surface 114 against the locking surface 113. The torsional spring can be in the automatic work of lock closed condition, need not to open the switch of locking. And in a strong state, the locked door lock can also be opened without damaging the locking mechanism.
A position switch, such as a micro switch, may be additionally provided on the PCB 104 for detecting whether the locking mechanism is in the locking state.
The position switch is arranged at the position close to the motion track of the locking block, and when the position of the locking block is changed, the position switch can be triggered/released, so that different positions of the locking block, namely the locking position and the unlocking position, can be represented through different signal states of the position switch.
Example two

The locking block 202 is mounted on the bottom case 201 through a shaft 203, and the shaft 203 is parallel to the bottom surface of the bottom case 201. The output shaft of the driving device 216 is connected to the locking block 202, and the driving device 216 drives the locking block 202 to rotate around the shaft 203.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, after the door lock is closed, a locking signal is sent to the driving device through the locking switch, the driving device drives the locking block to rotate in the counterclockwise direction to approach the locking surface until the locking surface presses the locking surface, at this time, the first latch arm and the second latch arm are limited to move, and the door lock is locked.
In the present invention, the driving device generally employs a motor or the like, and a linear motor or a rotary motor can be selected according to the application. The locking switch may be manually operated or may be determined by the state of the appliance, for example, when a dishwashing function is initiated, the locking switch sends a locking signal to the drive device.
EXAMPLE III

As shown in fig. 10 and 11, the lock block 302 is mounted on the bottom case 301 via a shaft 303, the shaft 303 being perpendicular to the bottom surface of the bottom case 301, the shaft 303 being located on the first latch arm 305 side. The latch block 302 has a length of connecting arm. The output shaft of the driving device 316 drives the locking block 302 to rotate around the shaft 303.
After the door lock is closed, a locking signal is sent to the driving device through the locking switch, the driving device drives one end, far away from the shaft, of the locking block to rotate along the anticlockwise direction, the sector which is swept through in the rotation is parallel to the bottom shell, the locking surface of the locking block is close to the locking surface until the locking surface presses the locking surface, at the moment, the first latch arm and the second latch arm are limited to move, and the door lock is locked.
Example four
Similar to the embodiment, however, the movement pattern of the lock block is changed. As shown in fig. 12 and 13, the first latch arm 405 and the second latch arm 407 are hinged to the bottom case 401 by the same mounting shaft. The actuator 416 can move the lock block 402 along a straight line, and the moving path of the lock block 402 is parallel to or coincident with the central axis of the latch arm.
As shown in fig. 14 and 15, after the door lock is closed, a locking signal is sent to the driving device through the locking switch, the driving device drives the locking block to move linearly, a plane swept by the locking block is parallel to the bottom shell, the locking block is close to the locking surface to the left until the locking surface presses the locking surface, at this time, the first latch arm and the second latch arm are limited to move, and the door lock is locked.
EXAMPLE five
Similar to the fourth embodiment, however, the moving direction of the lock block is changed. As shown in fig. 16, the locking block 502 is L-shaped when viewed from the side, the output shaft of the driving device 516 drives the locking block 502 to move up and down along a straight line, and the moving path of the locking block 502 is perpendicular to or at a certain angle with the bottom case 501.
As shown in fig. 17 and 18, when the door lock is closed, a locking signal is sent to the driving device through the locking switch, the driving device 516 drives the locking block 502 to move upwards in a straight line, the locking block 502 approaches the locking surface until the locking surface presses the locking surface, at this time, the first latch arm 505 and the second latch arm 507 are limited to move, and the door lock is locked.
Based upon the foregoing description of the preferred embodiment of the invention, it should be apparent that the invention defined by the appended claims is not limited solely to the specific details set forth in the foregoing description, as many apparent variations thereof are possible without departing from the spirit or scope thereof.
