Taking sun-cured yellow tobacco (Yunan De hong Yun sun-cured No. 1, near flue-cured tobacco type sun-cured yellow tobacco) purchased in 2021 and flue-cured tobacco (Baoshanyun 85 variety, fen-flavor tobacco leaf), blending, and then carrying out tobacco leaf grading according to YC/T484.1-2013 standard and national standard GB2635-92 respectively to obtain sun-cured yellow tobacco B3 and C3 grade tobacco leaves; flue-cured tobaccos of B3F, B3K, C4F and CX2K grades.
Pretreatment: the tobacco leaves of B3 and C3 grades are standard sample tobacco leaves, a plurality of complete leaves of the tobacco leaves of B3 and C3 grades are taken, and each grade is divided into two types according to the color. Specifically, dark-color leaves (the leaves are dark yellow and brown yellow, and the specific colors are shown in fig. 1) in B3 are selected and classified into one type and named as B3RS, and light-color leaves (the leaves are light yellow, positive yellow and golden yellow, and the specific colors are shown in fig. 3) in B3 are selected and classified into one type and named as B3FS; dark leaves in C3 (the leaves are dark yellow and brown yellow, and the specific colors are shown in figure 2) are selected to be classified into one type and named as C3RS, and light leaves in C3 (the leaves are light yellow, bright yellow and golden yellow, and the specific colors are shown in figure 4) are selected to be classified into one type and named as C3FS. The weight contents of the conventional chemical components of each cut piece were measured using a continuous flow chemical analyzer, and the results are shown in table 1.
TABLE 1 Classification of conventional chemical constituents of yellow sun-cured tobacco
Sample information Total nitrogen Nicotine Total sugar Reducing sugar Potassium salt Chlorine
C3RS 2.33 3.79 22.40 19.70 3.39 0.33
C3FS 1.47 1.47 35.70 32.10 3.45 0.06

B3FS 1.71 1.87 29.30 26.20 2.02 0.11
As can be seen from table 1, the difference in the chemical composition between C3RS and C3FS was large even in the same class of C3. The total nitrogen, nicotine and chlorine contents of C3RS are all higher than that of C3FS, and the total sugar and reducing sugar of C3RS are lower than that of C3FS. Similarly, the conventional chemical compositions of B3RS and B3FS are also significantly different under the same B3 classification. The total nitrogen, nicotine and chlorine contents of B3RS are all high as those of B3FS, and the total sugar and reducing sugar of B3RS are lower than those of B3FS.
The total sugar weight content and the reducing sugar weight content of the tobacco leaves of grades B3, C3, B3F, B3K, C4F and CX2K were measured using a continuous flow chemical analyzer, and the weight ratio of reducing sugar to total sugar was calculated, with the results shown in Table 2.

B3K 2.70 4.44 24.5 21.9 1.22 0.05
The difference between the conventional chemical compositions of C3RS and C3FS and the conventional chemical compositions of the original C3 can be seen by combining the table 1, and the conventional chemical compositions of C3RS and C3FS are both different from each other, which shows that the conventional chemical compositions of different blades in the C3 grade are different greatly. The chemical composition difference between B3RS and B3FS and the original B3 is large, and the conventional chemical compositions of B3 are both between the two, which shows that the chemical composition difference of different blades in the B3 grade is large.
Meanwhile, after the yellow sun-cured tobacco is classified, the proportion of nicotine, total nitrogen, potassium and chlorine of C3RS is higher than that of C3, the content of reducing sugar and total sugar is lower than that of C3, the proportion of nicotine, total nitrogen, potassium and chlorine of C3FS is lower than that of C3, and the content of reducing sugar and total sugar is higher than that of C3; the proportions of nicotine, total nitrogen, potassium and chlorine of B3RS are all higher than those of B3, the contents of reducing sugar and total sugar are all lower than those of B3, the proportions of nicotine, total nitrogen, potassium and chlorine of B3FS are all lower than those of B3, and the contents of reducing sugar and total sugar are all higher than those of B3. The tested flue-cured tobacco has lower grade, poorer harmony of chemical components, higher content of the nicotine of CX2K grade and B3K grade and poorer quality of the integrated alkali.
In conclusion, the tobacco leaves in B3 and C3 grades of yellow sun-cured tobacco have larger chemical component difference, and the uniformity of the sensory quality of the cigarettes is poorer after the tobacco leaves are prepared into the cigarettes, so that the quality of the cigarettes is seriously influenced.
Therefore, in order to prepare tobacco leaves with more harmonious chemical components and better smoking sense, the tobacco leaves of each classification are mixed according to weight ratio and the chemical components of the mixed tobacco leaves are tested.
The concrete mixing manner and the proportion (weight ratio) are shown in the following tables 3 and 4.
