Background
Sheet metal production typically requires the passage of heat, rolling and cooling and in most cases the surface of the sheet metal must be treated before it can be used to provide a surface suitable for the product to be worked, in order to paint the metal surface or for other coating purposes such as galvanising, aluminium-silicon plating. The most conventional method for removing the iron oxide layer on the surface of the metal plate is a 'pickling' process, and because the 'pickling' treatment has certain corrosivity and pollution, in recent years, the EPS treatment mode is widely applied, and the iron oxide layer is removed by using a slurry (water and abrasive mixture) spraying device.
EPS is a short name of slurry spraying technology, and the basic principle of the EPS is that a mixture of hard steel grit and water serving as a working medium is used for spraying the upper surface and the lower surface of a steel plate, and iron oxide scales on the surface of the steel plate are removed under the action of impact force, so that the steel plate becomes a smooth and clean surface. The EPS can remove the pretreatment processes of acid washing, shot blasting, painting and the like, green and clean production is realized, but the EPS treatment belongs to a physical mode for removing an iron oxide layer on the surface of a metal, the slurry injection can cause certain damage to the surface of the metal plate, particularly, the cold bending performance can be reduced to a certain extent compared with that of a hot rolled plate, and the normal use of the material can be influenced when the cold bending performance is serious. Particularly in the automobile industry, the cold bending performance is taken as an important index for measuring the toughness of the material, is closely related to the safety performance of the automobile, and has important significance for developing related researches. After EPS treatment, the surface of a hot-rolled plate coil is uneven and has a gully-shaped appearance, the forming performance and the fatigue life of the material are reduced, and the popularization of products after EPS treatment in the market, particularly the application in automobile beam safety parts, is restricted.
Through search, relevant patents have been published for solving the above-mentioned deficiencies. The descaling process and material properties are not described.
It can be seen that the existing EPS treatment technology focuses more on devices and slurry, and the cold bending performance of EPS products is rarely studied.

Aiming at the problems of research on the cold bending performance of EPS products in the existing EPS treatment technology, the invention provides an EPS treatment method of a hot rolled plate coil with excellent cold bending performance.
2. Technical scheme

according to the strength grade and the cold bending performance requirements of a metal plate, the metal plate passes through an EPS treatment unit, and the EPS treatment unit comprises slurry injection impeller devices which are symmetrically arranged up and down, so that EPS treatment is performed on the surface of the metal plate to remove an iron oxide layer on the surface of the metal; in the EPS treatment, the slurry spraying speed is 30-60 m/s, the slurry flow is 500-2500 kg/min, the spraying incidence angle is 80-120 degrees, the strip steel threading speed is 0-40 m/min, and the surface roughness of the metal plate after EPS treatment is 2.0-5.0 um.
According to the further technical scheme, in EPS treatment of a metal plate with the strength level of below 700Mpa, the slurry spraying speed is preferably 40-45 m/s, the slurry flow is preferably 800-1500 kg/min, the spraying incidence angle is preferably 85-95 degrees, the strip steel threading speed is preferably 5-25 m/min, and the surface roughness of the metal plate after EPS treatment is 2.5-3.5 microns. According to the strength grade and the cold bending performance requirements of the metal plate material, reasonable EPS process parameters such as slurry injection speed, slurry flow injection angle, strip steel threading speed and the like are further optimized, so that the metal plate obtained after EPS treatment has good cold bending performance; meanwhile, the fatigue property of the metal sheet is improved, and the application value and the economic value are extremely high.
According to a further technical scheme, the slurry injection impeller device comprises slurry impellers, after the slurry impellers are fixedly distributed on the upper surface and the lower surface of a metal plate, strip steel moves at a certain speed, the slurry impellers start to inject slurry to perform EPS treatment on the upper surface and the lower surface of the metal plate, and the metal plate after EPS treatment is coated with oil for corrosion prevention and/or is coiled for subsequent processing.
In a further technical scheme, the impeller equipment is a compressed air type shot blasting machine.
According to the further technical scheme, the slurry is a mixture of water and slurry abrasive, the slurry abrasive is cast steel grit, and the hardness of the cast steel grit is 46-65 HRC.

According to the strength grade and the cold bending performance requirement of the metal sheet, enabling the metal sheet to pass through an EPS (expandable polystyrene) processing unit, wherein the EPS processing unit comprises slurry injection impeller devices which are symmetrically arranged up and down, so that EPS processing is performed on the surface of the metal sheet to remove an iron oxide layer on the surface of the metal; in the EPS treatment, the slurry spraying speed is 30-60 m/s, the slurry flow is 500-2500 kg/min, the spraying incidence angle is 80-120 degrees, the strip steel threading speed is 0-40 m/min, and the surface roughness of the metal plate after EPS treatment is 2.0-5.0 um; according to the strength grade and the cold bending performance requirement of the metal plate, the metal plate penetrates through a slurry jet impeller device and is distributed and arranged in a vertically symmetrical mode along the metal plate to perform EPS treatment, and therefore an EPS treatment product with excellent cold bending performance is obtained.
For the metal plate with the strength grade of below 700Mpa, in the EPS treatment, the slurry spraying speed is preferably 40-45 m/s, the slurry flow is preferably 800-1500 kg/min, the spraying incidence angle is preferably 85-95 degrees, the threading speed of the strip steel is preferably 5-25 m/min, and the surface roughness of the metal plate after the EPS treatment is 2.5-3.5 um. According to the strength grade and the cold bending performance requirements of the metal plate material, reasonable EPS process parameters such as slurry injection speed, slurry flow injection angle, strip steel threading speed and the like are further optimized, so that the metal plate obtained after EPS treatment has good cold bending performance; meanwhile, the fatigue property of the metal plate is improved, and the application value and the economic value are extremely high. The slurry spraying impeller device comprises slurry impellers, the slurry impellers are fixedly distributed on the upper surface and the lower surface of a metal plate, strip steel moves at a certain speed, the slurry impellers start to spray slurry to perform EPS treatment on the upper surface and the lower surface of the metal plate, and the metal plate subjected to EPS treatment is coated with oil for corrosion prevention and/or is coiled for subsequent processing.
In this embodiment, the impeller device is a compressed air type shot blasting machine, and the fixing mode of the slurry impeller is not particularly limited, so that the upper and lower iron oxide layers of the metal plate can be EPS-treated. The cold bending performance of the metal plates obtained in example 1 and comparative example 1 is tested:
taking a transverse sample 120 x 35mm, and performing a cold bending test according to a bending radius d ═ a and a bending angle of 180 degrees, wherein the outer side of the bending radius of the cold bending sample in the example 1 is smooth and has no crack, the surface texture of the outer side of the bending radius of the cold bending sample in the comparative example 1 is coarsened, and the metallographic analysis is further performed, and as shown in figures 1 and 2, the metal surface layer has micro cracks; the bending angle of the cold bending test of the comparative example 1 is further changed, the test result is shown in figures 3 and 4, and the surface texture coarsening can be seen on the outer side of the bending radius of the cold bending test sample with the bending angle of 120 degrees; the outer side of the bending radius of the cold bending sample with the bending angle of 90 degrees is smooth and has no surface texture coarsening.
Example 2

The results show that the metal plate obtained by the EPS treatment method for the hot rolled plate with excellent cold bending performance provided by the invention has good cold bending performance, is beneficial to improving the fatigue performance of the material, and has extremely high application value and economic value.
