Abstract
本申请提供了一种终端定位方法及装置。当终端处于空闲态或非激活态时,定位设备发送寻呼信息,该寻呼信息用于指示终端的触发状态,该触发状态用于指示发送上行参考信号,或,测量下行参考信号;终端发送上行参考信号,或,测量下行参考信号,并发送下行参考信号的测量结果;以及定位设备根据上行参考信号的测量结果,或,下行参考信号的测量结果,对终端进行定位。定位设备可以根据需要在任意时刻通过寻呼信息触发终端发送上行参考信号或进行下行参考信号的测量,终端无需在规定的测量发送时间进行发送或测量,且终端处于空闲态或非激活态时即可发送上行参考信号或下行参考信号的测量结果,节省了终端的功耗。
