Abstract
一种寻呼方法及装置,适用于通信系统,通过为不同类型的终端设备设置对应的寻呼配置信息,以保证不同类型的终端设备采用对应的寻呼配置信息参与寻呼过程,避免不必要地频繁唤醒及频繁读取SIB1信息,进而减少终端设备的能耗。所述方法包括:网络设备发送第一寻呼配置信息,所述第一寻呼配置信息对应于第一类型终端设备;发送第二寻呼配置信息,所述第二寻呼配置信息对应于第二类型终端设备,所述第一类型终端设备和所述第二类型终端设备的能力不同;第二类型终端设备接收所述第二寻呼配置信息;根据所述第二寻呼配置信息,接收寻呼paging下行控制信息DCI。
