一种资源选择方法及通信装置，涉及V2X、D2D、侧行链路通信等领域。该方法具体包括第一终端接收第二终端发送的第一资源指示信息，第一资源指示信息用于指示第一资源集合，第一资源集合为第二终端为第一终端推荐的可用资源，然后第一终端从第一资源集合和第二资源集合中确定候选资源，第二资源集合为第一终端侦听到的可用资源。这种技术方案有助于在第一终端在自主选择资源的情况下，降低第一终端自主选择的资源与其它终端资源发生碰撞的可能性，从而有助于提高第一终端在自主选择的资源上通信的成功率。
