本申请提供一种通信方法和装置,其中通信方法包括:接收第一业务的至少一个数据包,所述至少一个数据包包含第一数据包,所述第一数据包在所述至少一个数据包中位于第一位置;向第一网络设备发送所述至少一个数据包以及第一指示信息,所述第一指示信息用于指示所述第一位置。本申请通过向第一网络设备发送第一指示信息,使得第一网络设备可根据第一指示信息指示的第一位置确定当前处理的第一业务的进度信息,进而便于第一网络设备根据第一业务的进度信息更加准确、有效地进行与第一业务相关的处理,从而更好的为用户提供业务服务,提升用户体验。
