Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of electronic technologies, and in particular, to a terminal.
Background
With the development of the intelligent terminal, the large-screen display effect is more and more popular with consumers, and the large-screen terminal and the full-screen terminal become the development trend of the intelligent terminal. In order to obtain a high screen occupation ratio, the space of the terminal except the screen is occupied, and the contradiction between the high screen occupation ratio and the realization of functions such as sound outlet holes is more and more prominent. At present, a sound is usually realized by forming a through hole in a side wall of the terminal housing, and as shown in fig. 1, a sound hole 11 is formed in a side wall of the middle frame 10. The scheme of side sound emission has certain influence on the width of the shell, and the shell with the extremely narrow side wall even cannot be provided with sound emission holes, so that the application of a partial full-face screen terminal cannot be met.

The present disclosure provides a terminal.
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a terminal including:
a middle frame;
the display panel is parallel to the middle frame and is arranged on the middle frame;
a gap for the audio module to output sound is formed between the display panel and the middle frame.
In some embodiments, the gap is located at an edge of the middle frame.
In some embodiments, the gap is located at a corner of the middle frame, which is a junction of a long side of the middle frame and a short side of the middle frame.
In some embodiments, the middle frame comprises:
a chassis base including a first surface and a second surface, the display panel covering the first surface; wherein the second surface is an adjacent surface to the first surface;
the corner wall is connected with the bottom plate and is positioned between two adjacent second surfaces of the bottom plate;
the gap is formed between the corner wall and the display panel.
In some embodiments, the number of gaps is two.
In some embodiments, two of the gaps are symmetrically distributed on both sides of one short side of the middle frame.
In some embodiments, the number of gaps is four.
In some embodiments, four of the gaps are symmetrically distributed about a center point of the middle frame.
In some embodiments, the display panel includes:
a planar portion covering the first surface;

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The following description refers to the accompanying drawings in which the same numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of devices consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a terminal, including:
a middle frame 20;
a display panel 30 parallel to the middle frame 20 and mounted on the middle frame 20;
a gap 40 for the audio module to output sound is formed between the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the gap 40 between the middle frame 20 and the display panel 30 is used as a sound outlet hole, so that the audio module outputs sound. Terminals include, but are not limited to: an electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a television, or a wearable device, which has the display panel 30.
Generally, the display panel 30 is used to display an image, and the rear surface of the display panel 30 is connected to the middle frame 20. Other devices such as an in-terminal circuit board, an audio module, or a camera may be mounted on the middle frame 20 and located between the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20.
In actual use of the terminal, the display panel 30 is generally facing the user, and sound is emitted from the gap 40 between the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20, and the gap is closer to the user than the side opening of the middle frame 20, and the sound is more easily received by the user.
In some embodiments, the gap 40 between the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20 for the audio module to output sound may be a fitting gap 40. Namely: the gap 40 generated when the display panel 30 is assembled with the middle frame 20 does not need to be specially opened to occupy the middle frame 20 or occupy the space of the display panel 30. This fit-up gap 40 creates a sound outlet opening that provides the terminal with little apparent visible opening.
In other alternative embodiments, the gap 40 is located at an edge of the middle frame 20.
Generally, the middle frame 20 has a substantially rectangular shape, and the middle frame 20 has long sides and short sides. The edge includes: at least one of a long side edge of the rectangular middle frame 20, a short side edge of the rectangular middle frame 20, or a corner of the rectangular middle frame 20. Wherein the corner refers to the junction of the long side and the short side of the middle frame 20.
The gap 40 serving as the sound output hole may be the gap 40 between the entire long side and the display panel 30 or the gap 40 between a part of the long side and the display panel 30, in order to form the long side edge of the middle frame 20.
In other alternative embodiments, the gap 40 is located at a corner of the middle frame 20, where the corner is a connection between a long side of the middle frame 20 and a short side of the middle frame 20.
As shown in fig. 2 to 4, the gap 40 for outputting the sound is formed at the corner, and the user's hand is prevented from holding the terminal to block the gap 40 when using the terminal.
Generally, the middle frame 20 includes: the bottom plate and the side walls connected around the bottom plate, for the rectangular middle frame 20, the long side, the short side and the corner of the middle frame 20 have the side walls. The gap 40 to be used as the sound outlet hole is formed at the corner of the middle frame 20, and does not occupy the space of the side wall at the long edge of the middle frame 20, nor occupy the space of the side wall at the short edge of the middle frame 20, the width of the side wall at the long edge of the middle frame 20 and the width of the side wall at the short edge of the middle frame 20 can be flexibly set, and even the side wall is cancelled at the long edge, i.e. the short edge of the middle frame 20.
In other alternative embodiments, the middle frame 20 includes:
a chassis base including a first surface and a second surface, the display panel 30 covering the first surface; wherein the second surface is an adjacent surface to the first surface;
a corner wall 21 connected to the bottom plate and located between two adjacent second surfaces of the bottom plate;
the gap 40 is formed between the corner wall 21 and the display panel 30.
The first surface may be the largest surface of the base plate, i.e. the top surface of the base plate. The second surface may be a side of the base plate, i.e. a surface substantially parallel to the first surface.
In the disclosed embodiment, the corner wall 21 refers to a side wall at a corner of the middle frame 20. For the rectangular middle frame 20, the middle frame 20 has four corner walls 21, and thus, gaps 40 for outputting sound may be formed between the four corner walls 21 of the middle frame 20 and the display panel 30.
In some embodiments, it may suffice to form the gap 40 for outputting sound only at the two corner walls 21 at the bottom of the middle frame 20.
In other alternative embodiments, the number of gaps 40 is two.
In some embodiments, two of the gaps 40 are symmetrically disposed on both sides of a short side of the middle frame 20.
Fig. 6 exemplarily shows that two gaps 40 are respectively distributed on both sides of one short side of the middle frame 20, and the two gaps 40 are symmetrically distributed at the center point of the short side. In fig. 6, two gaps 40 are located at two corners of the middle frame 20, respectively.
In other alternative embodiments, the number of gaps 40 is four.
In some embodiments, four of the gaps 40 are symmetrically distributed about a center point of the middle frame 20.
Fig. 7 exemplarily shows that four corners of the middle frame 20 are respectively distributed with one gap 40, and the total number of the gaps 40 is four.
In practical applications, the symmetrical distribution of fig. 6 and 7 is more beneficial to improve the sound transmission quality.
In other alternative embodiments, the display panel 30 includes:
a planar portion covering the first surface;
and the curved surface part is connected with the plane part and covers the second surface.
In some embodiments, the planar portion may be approximately the same size as the first surface area of the bottom plate of the middle frame 20, i.e., the planar portion may completely cover the middle frame 20 at its largest surface. The planar portion is also substantially rectangular. The curved portion may be connected to both long sides of the flat portion and correspondingly overlie the second surface at the long side of the base plate, in which case the middle frame 20 may have only two side walls and four corner walls 21 at the short side. Or, the curved surface parts are four and respectively cover the four second surfaces of the bottom plate. In this case, the middle frame 20 may have only four corner walls 21, and the display panel 30 covers not only the first surface of the bottom plate but also the four second surfaces of the bottom plate, thereby further improving the screen ratio.
In other alternative embodiments, the middle frame 20 includes: and the mounting position is used for mounting the audio module.
Without limitation, the mounting locations are through holes. The audio module is embedded in the through hole. The gap 40 for outputting sound communicates with the sound outlet face of the audio module to achieve output of the audio module sound.
In other alternative embodiments, the middle frame 20 includes: an audio channel in communication with the gap 40.
An audio channel may be formed in the center frame 20, and sound generated by the audio module is transmitted to the gap 40 through the audio channel.
In other alternative embodiments, the display panel 30 and the center frame 20 together form an audio channel that communicates with the gap 40. In the present embodiment, the audio channel is not formed in the form of an opening, but is formed by the display panel 30 and the center frame 20 together, that is, the display panel 30 and the center frame 20 respectively form channel walls of the audio channel.
In other alternative embodiments, the middle frame 20 includes: a first channel 51;
the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20 together form a second channel 52, and the second channel 52 is located between the gap 40 and the first channel 51 and is respectively communicated with the gap 40 and the first channel 51; the second channel 52 together with the first channel 51 form the audio channel 50.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the audio channel 50 is formed of two parts, one part is formed on the middle frame 20 in a perforated manner, and the other part is located between the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20 and is formed by the display panel 30 and the middle frame 20 together. The sound generated by the audio module passes through the first sound channel 51 and the second sound channel 52 in sequence and then is transmitted to the gap 40. The arrows in fig. 4 point in the direction of transmission of sound.
Without limitation, as shown in fig. 5, the audio channel 50 is L-shaped. It will be appreciated that the audio channels may also be in other shapes such as S-shaped or in-line.
In some embodiments, the terminal is a full-screen mobile phone, the middle frame 20 of the mobile phone has only narrow side walls around the circumference, the front and back surfaces of the middle frame 20 have glass, the glass on the front surface is a part of the display panel 30, and the glass on the back surface is a rear shell of the mobile phone. Two corners at the bottom of the middle frame 20 are provided with gaps 40 for outputting sound with the display panel 30, so that symmetrical sound outputting is realized.

Claims (14)

1. A terminal, comprising:
a middle frame;
the display panel is parallel to the middle frame and is arranged on the middle frame;
a gap for the audio module to output sound is formed between the display panel and the middle frame.
2. A terminal as claimed in claim 1, wherein the gap is located at an edge of the middle frame.
3. A terminal according to claim 2, characterized in that the gap is located at a corner of the middle frame, which is the junction of a long side of the middle frame and a short side of the middle frame.
4. The terminal according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein the middle frame comprises:
a chassis base including a first surface and a second surface, the display panel covering the first surface; wherein the second surface is an adjacent surface to the first surface;
the corner wall is connected with the bottom plate and is positioned between two adjacent second surfaces of the bottom plate;
the gap is formed between the corner wall and the display panel.
5. The terminal of claim 4, wherein the display panel comprises:
a planar portion covering the first surface;
and the curved surface part is connected with the plane part and covers the second surface.
6. A terminal as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the number of gaps is two.
7. A terminal according to claim 6, characterized in that two of said gaps are symmetrically arranged on either side of a short side of said middle frame.
8. A terminal as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the number of gaps is four.
9. The terminal of claim 8, wherein four of the gaps are symmetrically distributed about a center point of the middle frame.
10. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the middle frame comprises: and the mounting position is used for mounting the audio module.
11. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the middle frame comprises: an audio channel in communication with the gap.
12. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the display panel and the center frame collectively form an audio channel, the audio channel being in communication with the gap.
13. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the middle frame comprises: a first sound channel;
the display panel and the middle frame jointly form a second channel, and the second channel is located between the gap and the first sound channel and is respectively communicated with the gap and the first sound channel; the second channel and the first channel together form the audio channel.
14. A terminal as claimed in any one of claims 11 to 13, characterised in that the audio channel is L-shaped.
