the vertical area and the chip collecting cavity are separated by a longitudinal baffle plate, and the chip collecting cavity and the transverse area of the main machine cavity are separated by a transverse baffle plate;
the top of the vertical area and the chip collecting cavity is provided with a supporting plate, and a pen inserting hole extends from the supporting plate to the top surface of the plastic shell;
the vertical area further comprises a battery position extending longitudinally, so that the loaded battery is arranged along the height direction of the electric pencil sharpener;
the direct current motor is longitudinally arranged in the vertical area, each gear of the gear assembly is transversely arranged in the transverse area, and a direct current motor shaft of the direct current motor is connected with the gear assembly;

the inserting part at the upper end of the second retaining ring extends into the pen inserting hole of the supporting plate; the movable sleeve part at the lower end of the second check ring penetrates through the fixed sleeve and extends into the chip collecting cavity;
an elastic piece is arranged between the movable sleeve and the supporting plate, and two ends of the elastic piece are propped between the supporting plate and the second check ring;
the pencil sharpener is longitudinally arranged in the chip collecting cavity along the height direction of the electric pencil sharpener; the bottom end of the tool rest of the pencil sharpener is provided with a bottom plate, the center of the bottom plate is provided with a shaft hole, and the output shaft extends out of the through hole of the transverse partition plate and is spliced with the shaft hole;
the pen inlet end of the tool rest comprises a plane end wall, and the middle part of the plane end wall is provided with a connecting wall protruding upwards; the lower end of the movable sleeve is provided with a concave cavity for inserting the connecting wall, and the lower end of the movable sleeve is tightly contacted with the plane end wall under the action of the elastic piece;
the pen is longitudinally inserted into the pencil sharpener from the pencil insertion hole; the gear assembly drives the pencil sharpener.
2. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 1, wherein a hatch is provided on the side of the plastic housing, the hatch corresponding to the chip collecting cavity and opening and closing the chip collecting cavity.
3. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 2 wherein the door is transparent or translucent and is attached to the side of the plastic housing by a snap-in structure.
4. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 2 wherein the gear assembly is received in a flat gear box, the dc motor shaft of the dc motor extending into the gear box for connection with the gear assembly.
5. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 4, wherein the main housing has a mounting portion for supporting the DC motor, the mounting portion being integrally formed with the gear housing, and a mounting slot being provided in the mounting portion for mating with an outer contour of the DC motor.
6. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 1 wherein the plastic housing includes a front shell and a rear shell that are spliced to enclose a receiving area, the chip collecting cavity and the main body cavity being located within the receiving area.
7. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 2, wherein a front switch is disposed on the inside of the hatch, the hatch being closed such that the front switch is turned on; the hatch door opens causing the front switch to open.
8. The electric pencil sharpener of claim 1, wherein said pencil inlet channel is provided with a trigger switch for activating the dc motor.
