Abstract
The embodiment of the invention provides a method, a device, equipment and a computer storage medium for reducing power consumption of a terminal, wherein the method comprises the following steps: by judging the state of the terminal, when the terminal is in an idle state, the number of times of paging completed by the terminal is acquired, the number of times of paging completed is compared with the preset number of times of paging, and when the number of times of paging completed is equal to the preset number of times of paging, the terminal enters a power saving mode, namely a PSM state. The terminal is determined to enter the power saving mode by judging the paging times, so that the power consumption of the terminal before entering the power saving mode after the last paging is finished is avoided, the power consumption of the terminal equipment is effectively reduced, and the purpose of saving power is achieved.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention belongs to the field of communication technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium for reducing power consumption of a terminal.
Background
At present, with the development of the related technology of the internet of things, the number of terminals of the internet of things is increased, and the experience quality of a user is gradually emphasized. In order to reduce the Power consumption of the product and prolong the endurance time, a Power Saving Mode (PSM) can be selected to enter. Before entering the PSM state, the terminal periodically initiates paging using a timer T3324, and when the timer expires, starts a timer T3412, and the system enters the PSM state. When the timer T3412 determines that the time is out or the terminal has uplink data to send, the terminal ends the PSM status.
The above method can reduce the power consumption of the product, but the power consumption during the period from the end of the last paging of the timer T3324 to the time when the PSM state is entered is higher than that in the PSM state, which is not an optimal power saving scheme.
Disclosure of Invention
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, a device, and a computer storage medium for reducing power consumption of a terminal, which can determine whether the terminal enters a power saving mode by using the number of times that the terminal has completed paging and a preset number of times that the terminal has completed paging, and can effectively reduce power consumption of the terminal in a process of waiting for entering the power saving mode, i.e., a PSM state.
In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for reducing power consumption of a terminal, where the method includes:
when the terminal is in an idle state, acquiring the number of times of paging of the terminal;
and when the paging times are equal to the preset target paging times, determining that the terminal enters a power saving mode.
In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for reducing power consumption of a terminal, where the apparatus includes:
an obtaining module, configured to obtain the number of paging times completed by a terminal when the terminal is in an idle state;
and the determining module is used for determining that the terminal enters the power saving mode when the paging frequency is equal to the preset target paging frequency.

At present, with the development of communication technology, the requirement for power consumption of a communication terminal is gradually increased, and at present, a method for reducing power consumption is shown in fig. 1, where a terminal periodically initiates paging after entering an idle state from a connected state, and when a timer T3324 times out, a paging process is finished, and the terminal enters a power saving mode. However, after the last paging is finished and before the terminal actually enters the power saving mode, i.e. in the time period T2, the terminal still has a certain power consumption, and the power consumption of the terminal is still higher than that of the terminal in the power saving mode.
In order to solve the problem of the prior art, embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, a device, and a computer storage medium for reducing power consumption of a terminal, where whether the terminal enters a power saving mode is determined by determining whether the number of times of initiating paging of the terminal is equal to a preset paging number, and power consumption generated after initiating paging for the last time and before the terminal enters the power saving mode is reduced.
First, a method for reducing power consumption of a terminal device according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below.

The method for reducing the power consumption of the terminal provided by the embodiment of the invention can judge the state of the terminal as shown in fig. 3, when the terminal is in an idle state, the number of times of paging completed by the terminal is acquired, the number of times of paging completed is compared with the preset number of times of paging, and when the number of times of paging completed is equal to the preset number of times of paging, the terminal enters a power saving mode, namely a PSM (power save mode). The terminal is determined to enter the power saving mode by judging the paging times, so that the power consumption of the terminal before entering the power saving mode after the last paging is finished is avoided, the power consumption of the terminal equipment is effectively reduced, and the purpose of saving power is achieved.
In some embodiments, when the second timer times out, the terminal ends the power saving mode and enters the connected state. Wherein, the second timer is a T3412 timer. Alternatively, the T3412 timer may start at the same time as the T3324 timer. Alternatively, the T3412 timer may be started when the terminal enters the power saving mode.
In some embodiments, when the terminal is in the power saving mode and there is data to be transmitted, the terminal ends the power saving mode and enters the connected state.
Fig. 4 is an apparatus for reducing power consumption of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 4, the apparatus includes an obtaining module 410 and a determining module 420.

A determining module 420, configured to determine that the terminal enters the power saving mode when the number of times that the terminal has completed paging is equal to a preset target number of times of paging.
In some embodiments, the obtaining module is further configured to obtain, when the terminal is in an idle state, a paging cycle of a cell in which the terminal is located and a paging cycle of the terminal.
In some embodiments, the determining module is further configured to determine that a paging cycle of a cell in which the terminal is located and a smaller paging cycle of the paging cycles of the terminal are the target paging cycle. And determining the preset target paging frequency by using the preset paging time length and the target paging cycle. The preset paging time duration is a first timer time duration, and the first timer is a T3324 timer.
In some embodiments, the determining module is further configured to, when the number of times that the terminal has completed paging is equal to a preset target number of times, satisfy a trigger condition, and determine that the terminal enters the power saving mode.

It should be noted that the apparatus in the embodiment in fig. 4 may be used as an execution main body in the methods in the embodiments, and may implement corresponding processes in the methods to achieve the same technical effects, and for brevity, the content of this aspect is not described in detail.
Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating a hardware structure for reducing power consumption of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The apparatus for reducing power consumption in a terminal may comprise a processor 501 and a memory 502 storing computer program instructions.
Specifically, the processor 501 may include a Central Processing Unit (CPU), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), or one or more Integrated circuits configured to implement the embodiments of the present invention.
In one example, memory 502 may include Read Only Memory (ROM), Random Access Memory (RAM), magnetic disk storage media devices, optical storage media devices, flash memory devices, electrical, optical, or other physical/tangible memory storage devices. Thus, in general, the memory includes one or more tangible (non-transitory) computer-readable storage media (e.g., memory devices) encoded with software comprising computer-executable instructions and when the software is executed (e.g., by one or more processors), it is operable to perform operations described with reference to the methods according to an aspect of the present disclosure.
The processor 501 reads and executes the computer program instructions stored in the memory 502 to implement S210 to S220 in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, and achieves the corresponding technical effects achieved by the embodiment shown in fig. 2 executing the method/step thereof, which is not described herein again for brevity.
In one example, the terminal power consumption reduction device may also include a communication interface 503 and a bus 510. As shown in fig. 5, the processor 501, the memory 502, and the communication interface 503 are connected to each other through a bus 510 to complete communication therebetween.
The communication interface 503 is mainly used for implementing communication between modules, apparatuses, units and/or devices in the embodiments of the present invention.
The bus 510 comprises hardware, software, or both to couple together the elements of the device that reduce the power consumption of the terminal. By way of example, and not limitation, a Bus may include an Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) or other Graphics Bus, an Enhanced Industry Standard Architecture (EISA) Bus, a Front-Side Bus (Front Side Bus, FSB), a Hyper Transport (HT) interconnect, an Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) Bus, an infiniband interconnect, a Low Pin Count (LPC) Bus, a memory Bus, a Micro Channel Architecture (MCA) Bus, a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) Bus, a PCI-Express (PCI-X) Bus, a Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) Bus, a video electronics standards association local (VLB) Bus, or other suitable Bus or a combination of two or more of these. Bus 510 may include one or more buses, where appropriate. Although specific buses have been described and shown in the embodiments of the invention, any suitable buses or interconnects are contemplated by the invention.
