Detailed Description
In general, the SIM card is disposed in the terminal device, and a cellular communication module in the terminal device communicates with the SIM card, so as to implement network communication of the terminal device. Currently, highly available multi-network smart SIM cards are required to be used with SDKs integrated within terminal devices, through which network connectivity is detected and operator network selection is controlled. The adaptive SDKs are designed for different terminal devices and integrated into the terminal devices. This is difficult for some industries, such as the smart home industry. In general, intelligent home appliance enterprises have no special maintenance manager to perform modification and upgrade of control functions related to network connectivity detection functions and operator network switching on specific devices.
In order to solve or partially solve the above-mentioned problem, the embodiment of the present application proposes a new operator network switching scheme, in which the SIM card automatically generates a network request for a target server, and sends the network request to a terminal device in the form of a command, and after receiving the command, the terminal device sends the network request carried in the command to the target server; and the SIM card automatically determines whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server for the network request. Therefore, in the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the SIM card can autonomously control the switching of the operator network, the terminal equipment only needs to forward the network request to the target server, the hardware or software on the terminal equipment is not required to be modified, the development or upgrading difficulty of the terminal equipment side is reduced, and the scheme universality can be improved.

Before introducing the method for switching the operator network provided by the embodiment of the application, the system architecture related to the embodiment of the application is introduced. Fig. 1 shows a block diagram of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present application. Wherein, the system includes: a subscriber identity card SIM card 1 and a terminal device 2 communicating with each other.
The SIM card is used for: determining a network access command aiming at a target server 3, wherein the network access command carries a network request aiming at the target server 3; transmitting the network access command to the terminal device 2;
the terminal device 2 is configured to: according to the network access command, sending the network request to the target server 3;
The SIM card 1 is also used for: and determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server 3 for the network request.
The target server 3 and the terminal device 2 may be connected through an IP network, and communication protocols between the two may include, but are not limited to, TCP protocol, UDP protocol, and GPRS protocol. The user identification card SIM card 1 and the terminal equipment 2 are connected by a power supply and a data transmission, and the power supply and the data transmission can be communicated by a data transmission connection line; the terminal device 2 supplies power to the SIM card via a power connection line.
The SIM card 1 stores network access authentication information of a plurality of operator networks. The network entry authentication information may include, but is not limited to, code number data such as: international mobile subscriber identity (International Mobile Subscriber Identification Number, IMSI). The mobile device may communicate with the SIM card via its internal cellular communication module, and may communicate between the two using APDU (Application Protocol Data Unit ) protocols. The mobile device may be a mobile phone or an internet of things device capable of using a cellular network, and may support Windows, android, IOS, windowsphone operating systems, and may generally communicate with other mobile phones or other internet of things devices in the internet of things, and a cloud server.
In order to enable the SIM card 1 to communicate with the target server 3, a data transmission channel based on a bearer independent protocol (Bearer Independent Protocol, BIP) may also be established between the subscriber identity card SIM card 1 and the terminal device 2. The specific implementation will be described in detail in the following examples.
Fig. 2 is a flow chart illustrating a data processing method according to an embodiment of the application. The method is suitable for a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card which is communicated with the terminal equipment. The SIM card stores network access authentication information of a plurality of operator networks. The network entry authentication information may include, but is not limited to: international mobile subscriber identity (International Mobile Subscriber Identification Number, IMSI). The mobile device may communicate with the SIM card via its internal cellular communication module, and may communicate between the two using APDU (ApplicationProtocolDataUnit ) protocols. The mobile device may be a mobile phone or an internet of things device capable of using a cellular network, and may support Windows, android, IOS, windowsphone operating systems, and may generally communicate with other mobile phones or other internet of things devices in the internet of things, and a cloud server. As shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
101. a network access command for the target server is determined.
The network access command carries a network request aiming at the target server.
102. And sending the network access command to the terminal equipment so as to send the network request to the target server by the terminal equipment.
103. And determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server for the network request.
Currently, the communication between the SIM card and the mobile device is mostly based on APDU protocol. The APDU protocol specifies that the device can only actively initiate a command to the SIM card, and the SIM card responds, that is, the SIM card cannot actively issue a command to the device. Thus, the SIM card side may use or multiplex the command sent by the mobile device to the SIM card to send the network access command to the terminal device by responding to the command.
In practical applications, the terminal device typically frequently sends commands to the SIM card, for example: the status acquisition command (F2 command) is sent periodically to the SIM card, and the Event Download command (Event Download command) is sent aperiodically to the SIM card. When the terminal equipment drops from a base station, the terminal equipment sends an event downloading command to the SIM card so as to inform the SIM card that the terminal equipment is dropped; when the terminal device is connected with a new base station, the terminal device sends an event downloading command to the SIM card so as to inform the SIM card that the terminal device is connected with the new base station.
In an example, after receiving the command sent by the terminal device, the SIM card may directly perform steps 101 and 102 described above.
In another example, after receiving the command sent by the terminal device, the SIM card determines whether a preset condition is currently satisfied, and if the preset condition is satisfied, steps 101 and 102 are executed; if the preset condition is not satisfied, the above steps 101 and 102 are not performed.
In one possible scheme, after receiving a command sent by a terminal device, a SIM card judges whether the command is a target command; if the command is a target command, judging that the preset condition is met currently; otherwise, judging that the preset condition is not met currently. In another implementation scheme, after the SIM card receives a command sent by the terminal equipment, judging the time interval of last sending of a network access command to the terminal equipment from the current distance; if the time interval is greater than or equal to the preset time length, judging that the preset condition is met currently; if the time interval is smaller than the preset time length, judging that the preset condition is not met currently.
In 101, the target server may be a third party server or a preset test server. The network request may specifically include a network handover request for requesting handover of the operator network or a network probe request for probing the quality of the operator network.
When the network request includes a network switching request for requesting to switch the operator network, the network switching request may include identification information of the SIM card and information of the operator network currently used by the SIM card.
In 102, the SIM card sends a network access command to the terminal device. And the terminal equipment sends the network request in the network access command to the target server according to the network access command.
In the above 103, the response data may include: the received response information returned by the target server for the network request or the unreceived indication information for indicating that the response information returned by the target server for the network request is not received after timeout. In an example, the response data may further include a response delay. The response time delay can be specifically a waiting time period from the time when the SIM card sends the network access command to the time when the SIM card receives response information returned by the target server for the network request, wherein the response information is forwarded by the terminal equipment.
Taking the network request as an example of the network switching request for requesting to switch the operator network, the step 103 of determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request may be implemented by:
1031a, when the response data includes response information returned by the target server for the network request, determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response information.
In one example, the reply message may include indication information regarding a network switch. If the indication information indicates that the network needs to be switched, determining to switch the network of the operator; and if the indication information indicates that the network does not need to be switched, determining that the network of the operator is not switched.
The target server can determine a plurality of operator networks supported by the SIM card and tariff information and/or residual flow corresponding to each operator network according to the identification information of the SIM card in the network switching request, and can determine the target operator network from the plurality of operator networks according to the plurality of operator networks supported by the SIM card and the tariff information and/or residual flow corresponding to each operator network; if the target operator network is determined to be different from the operator network currently used by the SIM card, generating indication information for indicating that the network needs to be switched; if the target operator network is determined to be the operator network currently used by the SIM card, indicating information for indicating that the network does not need to be switched is generated. The target server transmits the generated indication information as response information to the terminal device.
Optionally, in the step 103, determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request may further include the following steps:
1032a, determining to switch operator networks when the response data includes no indication information received.
In this embodiment, the target server determines whether or not network switching is required. When the terminal equipment or the SIM card does not receive the response information returned by the target server for the network switching request after timeout, the operator network can be determined to be abnormal, so that the operator network is determined to be required to be switched in order to ensure the normal communication of the terminal equipment.
Taking the network request as an example of the network probe request for probing the network quality of the operator, the step 103 of determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request may be implemented by:
1031b, determining the network quality of the operator network currently used by the SIM card according to the response data of the target server for the network probe request.
1032B, determining whether to switch the operator network according to the network quality.
In one example, when the response time delay is included in the response data, the network quality is determined based on the response time delay. The longer the response delay, the poorer the network quality. The network quality meets the preset communication requirement, and the operator network is determined not to be switched; and determining that the network quality does not meet the preset communication requirement and switching the network of the operator. The preset communication requirements may be set according to actual needs, which is not particularly limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In another example, the network probe request is a plurality of. In practical application, the number of network detection requests carried in the network access command is multiple; after receiving the network access command, the terminal device may sequentially send a plurality of network probe requests to the target server. Or the network detection request carried in the network access command is one, the SIM card can sequentially send a plurality of network access commands to the terminal equipment, and the terminal equipment sends the network detection request carried in the network access command to the target server after receiving the network access command sent by the SIM card. Therefore, in 1031b, "determining the network quality of the operator network currently used by the SIM card according to the response data of the target server to the network probe request" may be implemented by the following steps:
s11, determining response index information according to response data of the target server for a plurality of network detection requests.
Wherein the response index information includes: response time delay and/or packet loss rate.
And S12, determining the network quality of the operator network currently used by the SIM card according to the response index information.
In S11, the plurality of network probe requests include a first network probe request. The first network probe request refers to any one of a plurality of network probe requests. The response data comprises response information returned by the target server aiming at the first network detection request and response time delay thereof or unreceived prompt information corresponding to the first network detection request. The fact that the prompt information is not received corresponding to the first network detection request means that the SIM card does not receive response information returned by the target server for the first network detection request within a preset time period.
According to the response data of the target server for a plurality of network detection requests, response index information such as response time delay and/or packet loss rate can be statistically determined.
In S12, in an example, the response index information includes a response delay. And determining the network quality according to the response time delay. The larger the response delay, the poorer the network quality.
In another example, the response indicator information includes a packet loss rate. And determining the network quality according to the packet loss rate. The larger the packet loss rate, the poorer the network quality.
In yet another example, the response indicator information includes a response delay and a packet loss rate. And determining the network quality according to the response time delay and the packet loss rate. The response time delay and the packet loss rate can be input into a calculation formula, and the network quality is determined according to the output result of the calculation formula. The calculation formula can be designed according to actual needs, and the embodiment of the application is not limited in particular.
In this embodiment, the SIM card detects the network quality of the operator to decide whether to perform network handover.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the SIM card automatically generates a network request aiming at the target server and sends the network request to the terminal equipment in the form of a command, and the terminal equipment sends the network request carried in the command to the target server after receiving the command; and the SIM card automatically determines whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server for the network request.
Optionally, the "determining the network access command for the target server" in 101 may be implemented by the following steps:
1011. The network request is determined.
1012. And acquiring communication protocol parameters required by the terminal equipment configured in the SIM card to communicate with the target server.
1013. And determining a network access command for the target server according to the communication protocol parameters and the network request.
Wherein the network access command carries the communication protocol parameter and the network request.
In the above 1011, the above network request may specifically include a network handover request for requesting handover of an operator network or a network probe request for probing the quality of an operator network.
The specific content or format of the network handover request or the network probe request may be set according to actual needs, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In 1012 above, the communication protocol parameters required for the terminal device to communicate with the target server may be stored in the SIM card in advance. The communication protocol parameters may include, but are not limited to, address information of the target server, port number, network protocol type. Network protocol types may include, but are not limited to: TCP (Transmission Control Protocol ) type, UDP (User Datagram Protocol, user packet protocol) type.
In 1013, a command template may be obtained, and the communication protocol parameter and the network request may be added to the command template, thereby obtaining a network access command for the target server.
In this embodiment, after receiving the network access command, the terminal device only needs to encapsulate the network request carried in the network access command according to the communication protocol parameter carried in the network access command, and sends the encapsulated network request to the target server. The specific packaging process is referred to in the prior art and will not be described in detail herein.
In practice, communication between the SIM card and the target server may be implemented based on a bearer independent protocol (Bearer Independent Protocol). The method further comprises the steps of:
104. and establishing a data communication channel between the SIM card and the terminal equipment based on a bearer independent protocol.
Accordingly, the "sending the network access command to the terminal device" in 102 includes:
1021. And sending the network access command to the terminal equipment through the data communication channel.
In the above 104, the SIM card may establish a data communication channel based on a bearer independent protocol between the SIM card and the terminal device when receiving a target command sent by the terminal device. The target command may be an F2 command or an Event Download command.
Specifically, when receiving a target command sent by a terminal device, the SIM card sends an opening command related to a data communication channel based on a bearer independent protocol to the terminal device; and after receiving the opening command, the terminal equipment opens a data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol and sends determination information to the terminal equipment so as to inform the SIM card channel to be established.
Optionally, the method may further include:
105. when the network of the operator is determined to be switched, the target network access authentication information is determined from the network access authentication information of other operator networks stored in the SIM card.
Wherein the other operator network is different from the operator network currently used by the SIM card.
106. And sending the target network access authentication information to the terminal equipment so that the terminal equipment accesses an operator network corresponding to the target network access authentication information according to the target network access authentication information.
In 105, the SIM card may store network access authentication information of two or more operator networks in advance.
When the network access authentication information of the other operator networks stored in the SIM card is one, the network access authentication information of the other operator networks can be directly used as target network access authentication information.
When the network access authentication information of the other operator networks stored in the SIM card is a plurality of, the target network access authentication information can be determined from the network access authentication information of the plurality of other operator networks. The specific determination manner may be set according to actual needs, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto. In one example, one of the network access authentication information of the plurality of other operator networks may be randomly determined as the target network access authentication information. In another example, the target network access authentication information may be determined from network access authentication information of the plurality of other operator networks according to priorities of the plurality of other operator networks, for example: and taking the network access authentication information of the other operator networks with the highest priority as target network access authentication information. In this embodiment, the priorities of two or more operator networks may be stored in the SIM card in advance, where the priorities may be configurable by the user.
In 106, after determining the target network access authentication information, the SIM card sends the target network access authentication information to the terminal device, so that the terminal device accesses the operator network corresponding to the target network access authentication information according to the target network access authentication information.
The process of the terminal equipment accessing the operator network corresponding to the target access authentication information according to the target access authentication information specifically comprises the following stages: cell search, system information transfer, random access, etc. The specific implementation of each stage is referred to in the prior art and will not be described in detail here.
The following describes in detail the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the present application with reference to fig. 3:
As shown in fig. 3:
201. And after the terminal equipment is started, sending an information acquisition command to the SIM card.
202. After receiving the information acquisition command, the SIM card selects network access authentication information of a first operator network from the stored network access authentication information of a plurality of operator networks, and sends the network access authentication information to the terminal equipment so that the terminal equipment accesses the first operator network.
203. And the terminal equipment sends an F2 command or an Event downlink command to the SIM card.
204. After receiving the F2 command or the Event Download command, the SIM card returns first response information to the terminal equipment, wherein the first response information carries first indication information.
The first indication information is used for indicating that the SIM card has a command which needs to be sent to the terminal equipment.
205. After receiving the first response information, the terminal equipment sends a first fetch command to the SIM card according to first indication information in the first response information.
206. After receiving the first fetch command, the SIM card returns second response information to the terminal equipment, wherein the second response information carries a command for opening a data communication channel based on a bearing independent protocol.
207. After receiving the second response information, the terminal equipment opens the data communication channel based on the bearing independent protocol according to the command which is carried in the second response information and is used for opening the data communication channel based on the bearing independent protocol; and sends confirmation information to the SIM card.
The terminal device sends confirmation information to the SIM card, which indicates that the data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol is established.
208. And after the SIM card receives the confirmation information, a network access command aiming at the target server is sent to the terminal equipment through the data communication channel.
209. After receiving the network access command, the terminal equipment encapsulates the network request carried in the network access command according to the communication protocol parameter carried in the network access command, and sends the encapsulated network request to the target server.
210. And after receiving the network request, the target server returns response information aiming at the network request to the terminal equipment.

In practical applications, the steps 303 to 310 are repeated.
Fig. 5 shows a flow chart of an operator network switching method according to an embodiment of the present application. The method is suitable for the terminal equipment which communicates with the SIM card of the subscriber identity module card. Wherein the method comprises the following steps:
401. And receiving a network access command which is sent by the SIM card and aims at the target server.
The network access command carries a network request aiming at the target server.
402. And sending the network request to the target server according to the network access command.
403. And after receiving response information returned by the target server for the network request, sending the response information to the SIM card so as to determine whether to switch the operator network by the SIM card.
In 401 above, the target server may be a third party server or a preset test server. The network request may specifically include a network handover request for requesting handover of the operator network or a network probe request for probing the quality of the operator network.
When the network request includes a network switching request for requesting to switch the operator network, the network switching request may include identification information of the SIM card and information of the operator network currently used by the SIM card.
The specific implementation of the steps 401, 402 and 403 may be referred to the corresponding content in the embodiments.
In an example, the network access command further carries communication protocol parameters required by the terminal device to communicate with the target server. The "sending the network request to the target server according to the network access command" in 402 may include:
4021. And encapsulating the network request according to the communication protocol parameters to obtain the encapsulated network request.
4022. And sending the packaged network request to the target server.
