Detailed Description
Generally, the SIM card is disposed in the terminal device, and a cellular communication module in the terminal device communicates with the SIM card to implement network communication of the terminal device. Currently, highly available multi-network smart SIM cards need to be used with SDKs integrated in the terminal device, to probe the connectivity of the network and to control the choice of operator network through the SDK. And designing the adaptive SDK aiming at different terminal equipment and integrating the SDK into the terminal equipment. This makes development difficult for some industries, such as the smart home appliance industry. Generally, no special maintenance manager is provided for the intelligent household appliance enterprise to perform modification and upgrade on the network connectivity detection function and the control function of operator network switching on a specific device.
In order to solve or partially solve the above problems, in the solution, an SIM card automatically generates a network request for a target server and sends the network request to a terminal device in a command form, and after receiving the command, the terminal device sends the network request carried in the command to the target server; and subsequently, the SIM card automatically determines whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request. Therefore, in the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the SIM card can autonomously control the switching of the operator network, the terminal equipment only needs to forward the network request to the target server, and hardware or software on the terminal equipment does not need to be modified, so that the development or upgrading difficulty of the terminal equipment side is reduced, and the universality of the scheme can be improved.

Before introducing the operator network switching method provided by the embodiment of the present application, a system architecture related to the embodiment of the present application is introduced. Fig. 1 shows a block diagram of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present application. Wherein, the system includes: a subscriber identity module card SIM card 1 and a terminal device 2 communicating with each other.
The SIM card is used for: determining a network access command for a target server 3, wherein the network access command carries a network request for the target server 3; sending the network access command to the terminal device 2;
The terminal device 2 is configured to: sending the network request to the target server 3 according to the network access command;
the SIM card 1 is further configured to: and determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server 3 to the network request.
The target server 3 and the terminal device 2 may be connected through an IP network, and the communication protocol between the two may include, but is not limited to, a TCP protocol, a UDP protocol, and a GPRS protocol. The SIM card 1 of the subscriber identity module card and the terminal equipment 2 are connected by power supply and data transmission, and can communicate with each other through a data transmission line; the terminal device 2 supplies power to the SIM card through a power connection line.
The SIM card 1 stores network access authentication information of a plurality of operator networks. The network access authentication information may include, but is not limited to, code number data, such as: international Mobile Subscriber identity Number (IMSI). The mobile device can communicate with the SIM card through its internal cellular communication module, and can communicate with the SIM card by using an APDU (Application Protocol Data Unit) Protocol. The mobile device may be a mobile phone or an internet of things device capable of using a cellular network, may support operating systems such as Windows, Android, IOS, Windows phone, and may generally communicate with other mobile phones or other internet of things devices in the internet of things, and a cloud server.
In order to enable the SIM card 1 to communicate with the target server 3, a data transmission channel based on a Bearer Independent Protocol (BIP) may also be established between the SIM card 1 and the terminal device 2. The specific implementation process will be described in detail in the following embodiments.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic flowchart of a data processing method according to an embodiment of the present application. The method is applicable to a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card which is communicated with the terminal equipment. The SIM card stores network access authentication information of a plurality of operator networks. The network access authentication information may include, but is not limited to: international Mobile Subscriber identity Number (IMSI). The mobile device may communicate with the SIM card through its internal cellular communication module, and may communicate with the SIM card by using an APDU (application protocol data unit) protocol. The mobile device may be a mobile phone or an internet of things device capable of using a cellular network, may support operating systems such as Windows, Android, IOS, Windows phone, and may generally communicate with other mobile phones or other internet of things devices in the internet of things, and a cloud server. As shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
101. A network access command for the target server is determined.
The network access command carries a network request for the target server.
102. And sending the network access command to the terminal equipment so as to send the network request to the target server by the terminal equipment.
103. And determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request.
At present, the communication between the SIM card and the mobile device is mostly based on the APDU protocol. However, the APDU protocol specifies that the device can only actively initiate a command to the SIM card and then respond to the command by the SIM card, that is, the SIM card cannot actively issue a command to the device. Therefore, the side of the SIM card can utilize or multiplex the command sent by the mobile device to the SIM card, and send the network access command to the terminal device by responding to the command.
In practical applications, the terminal device will generally frequently send commands to the SIM card, such as: a state acquisition command (F2 command) is periodically sent to the SIM card, and an Event Download command (Event Download command) is non-periodically sent to the SIM card. When the terminal equipment is disconnected from a base station, the terminal equipment sends an event downloading command to the SIM card so as to inform the SIM card that the terminal equipment is disconnected; when the terminal equipment is connected with a new base station, the terminal equipment sends an event downloading command to the SIM card to inform the SIM card that the terminal equipment is connected with the new base station.
In one example, the SIM card can directly perform the above steps 101 and 102 after receiving the command sent by the terminal device.
In another example, after receiving a command sent by the terminal device, the SIM card determines whether a preset condition is currently satisfied, and if the preset condition is satisfied, executes the above steps 101 and 102; if the preset condition is not satisfied, the steps 101 and 102 are not executed.
In an implementation scheme, after receiving a command sent by a terminal device, an SIM card judges whether the command is a target command; if the command is a target command, judging that the preset condition is met currently; otherwise, judging that the preset condition is not met currently. In another implementation scheme, after receiving a command sent by a terminal device, an SIM card judges a time interval of last sending a network access command to the terminal device at the current distance; if the time interval is greater than or equal to a preset time length, judging that a preset condition is currently met; and if the time interval is less than the preset time length, judging that the preset condition is not met currently.
In the foregoing 101, the target server may be a third-party server or a preset test server. The network request may specifically include a network handover request for requesting to handover the operator network or a network probe request for probing the quality of the operator network.
When the network request includes a network switching request for requesting to switch an operator network, the network switching request may include identification information of the SIM card and operator network information currently used by the SIM card.
In the foregoing 102, the SIM card sends the network access command to the terminal device. And the terminal equipment sends the network request in the network access command to the target server according to the network access command.
In 103, the response data may include: the received response information returned by the target server for the network request or the non-received indication information used for indicating that the response information returned by the target server for the network request is not received after time out. In one example, the response data may further include a response delay. The response delay may specifically be a waiting time between the time when the SIM card issues the network access command and the time when the SIM card receives a response message returned by the target server for the network request, where the response message is forwarded by the terminal device.
Taking a network request as a network handover request for requesting to switch an operator network, the step 103 of "determining whether to switch an operator network according to response data of the target server to the network request" may be implemented by adopting the following steps:
1031a, when the response data includes response information returned by the target server for the network request, determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response information.
In one example, the reply information may include an indication of a network handover. If the indication information indicates that the network needs to be switched, determining to switch the operator network; and if the indication information indicates that the network does not need to be switched, determining not to switch the operator network.
The target server can determine a plurality of operator networks supported by the SIM card and tariff information and/or residual flow corresponding to each operator network according to the identification information of the SIM card in the network switching request, and can determine a target operator network from the plurality of operator networks according to the plurality of operator networks supported by the SIM card and the tariff information and/or residual flow corresponding to each operator network; if the target operator network is different from the operator network currently used by the SIM card, generating indication information for indicating that the network needs to be switched; and if the target operator network is determined to be the operator network currently used by the SIM card, generating indication information for indicating that the network does not need to be switched. The target server transmits the generated instruction information as response information to the terminal device.
Optionally, the step 103 of determining whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request may further include the following steps:
1032a, when the response data includes the non-reception indication information, determining to switch the operator network.
In this embodiment, the target server determines whether a network switch is required. When the terminal equipment or the SIM card does not receive response information returned by the target server for the network switching request after overtime, the operator network can be determined to be abnormal, and therefore, the operator network is determined to need to be switched in order to ensure normal communication of the terminal equipment.
Taking a network request as a network probing request for probing the network quality of an operator as an example, in the foregoing 103, "determining whether to switch an operator network according to response data of the target server to the network request" may be implemented by adopting the following steps:
1031b, determining the network quality of the operator network currently used by the SIM card according to the response data of the target server to the network probing request.
1032b, determining whether to switch the operator network according to the network quality.
In one example, network quality is determined based on response latency when response latency is included in the response data. The longer the response delay, the worse the network quality. The network quality meets the preset communication requirement, and the operator network is determined not to be switched; and determining to switch operator networks when the network quality does not meet the preset communication requirement. The preset communication requirement may be set according to actual needs, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In another example, the network probe request is multiple. In actual application, a plurality of network detection requests are carried in the network access command; after receiving the network access command, the terminal device may sequentially send a plurality of network probe requests to the target server. Or, the network detection request carried in the network access command is one, the SIM card may sequentially send a plurality of network access commands to the terminal device, and the terminal device sends the network detection request carried in the network access command to the target server after receiving the network access command sent by the SIM card. Therefore, in 1031b, "determining the network quality of the operator network currently used by the SIM card according to the response data of the target server to the network probe request" may be implemented by adopting the following steps:
S11, determining response index information according to the response data of the target server to the network detection requests.
Wherein the response indicator information includes: response delay and/or packet loss rate.
S12, according to the response index information, determining the network quality of the operator network currently used by the SIM card.
In step S11, the plurality of network probe requests includes the first network probe request. The first network probe request refers to any one of a plurality of network probe requests. The response data includes response information returned by the target server for the first network detection request and response delay thereof or unreceived prompt information corresponding to the first network detection request. The non-reception prompt information corresponding to the first network probe request means that the SIM card does not receive response information returned by the target server for the first network probe request within a preset time period.
According to the response data of the target server aiming at the network detection requests, response index information such as response time delay and/or packet loss rate can be determined statistically.
In the above S12, in an example, the response index information includes a response delay. And determining the network quality according to the response time delay. The larger the response delay, the worse the network quality.
In another example, the response indicator information includes a packet loss rate. And determining the network quality according to the packet loss rate. The larger the packet loss rate, the worse the network quality.
In yet another example, the response indicator information includes a response delay and a packet loss rate. And determining the network quality according to the response time delay and the packet loss rate. The response delay and the packet loss rate can be input into a calculation formula, and the network quality is determined according to the output result of the calculation formula. The calculation formula may be designed according to actual needs, and this is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the present application.
In this embodiment, the SIM card detects the quality of the operator network, so as to decide whether to perform network handover.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the SIM card automatically generates a network request aiming at a target server and sends the network request to the terminal equipment in a command form, and after receiving the command, the terminal equipment only needs to send the network request carried in the command to the target server; and subsequently, the SIM card automatically determines whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request.
Optionally, the step 101 of determining the network access command for the target server may be implemented by:
1011. the network request is determined.
1012. And acquiring communication protocol parameters required by the communication between the terminal equipment configured in the SIM card and the target server.
1013. And determining a network access command aiming at the target server according to the communication protocol parameter and the network request.
The network access command carries the communication protocol parameter and the network request.
In the 1011, the network request may specifically include a network handover request for requesting to switch the operator network or a network probe request for probing the quality of the operator network.
The specific content or format of the network switching request or the network probing request may be set according to actual needs, which is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the application.
In 1012, a communication protocol parameter required for the terminal device to communicate with the target server may be stored in the SIM card in advance. The communication protocol parameters may include, but are not limited to, address information of the target server, port number, and network protocol type. Network protocol types may include, but are not limited to: a TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) type, and a UDP (User data Protocol) type.
In 1013, a command template may be obtained, and the communication protocol parameter and the network request are added to the command template, so as to obtain the network access command for the target server.
In this embodiment, after receiving the network access command, the terminal device only needs to encapsulate the network request carried in the network access command according to the communication protocol parameter carried in the network access command, and send the encapsulated network request to the target server. The specific packaging process can be referred to in the prior art, and is not described in detail here.
In practical applications, the communication between the SIM card and the target server may be implemented based on a Bearer Independent Protocol (Bearer Independent Protocol). The method further comprises the following steps:
104. and establishing a data communication channel between the SIM card and the terminal equipment based on a bearer independent protocol.
Accordingly, the "sending the network access command to the terminal device" in 102 includes:
1021. and sending the network access command to the terminal equipment through the data communication channel.
In the foregoing 104, the SIM card may establish a data communication channel based on a bearer independent protocol between the SIM card and the terminal device when receiving a target command sent by the terminal device. The target command may be an F2 command or an Event Download command.
Specifically, when receiving a target command sent by the terminal equipment, the SIM card sends an open command related to a data communication channel based on a bearer independent protocol to the terminal equipment; and after receiving the opening command, the terminal equipment opens a data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol and sends determination information to the terminal equipment to inform that the SIM card channel is established.
Optionally, the method may further include:
105. and when the operator network is determined to be switched, determining target network access authentication information from the network access authentication information of other operator networks stored in the SIM card.
Wherein the other operator network is different from the operator network currently used by the SIM card.
106. And sending the target network access authentication information to the terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment accesses an operator network corresponding to the target network access authentication information according to the target network access authentication information.
In the above 105, the SIM card may store network access authentication information of two or more operator networks in advance.
When the network access authentication information of other operator networks stored in the SIM card is one, the network access authentication information of the other operator networks can be directly used as target network access authentication information.
When the network access authentication information of other operator networks stored in the SIM card is multiple, the target network access authentication information can be determined from the network access authentication information of the other operator networks. The specific determination manner may be set according to actual needs, which is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the present application. In one example, one of the network access authentication information of the plurality of other operator networks may be randomly determined as the target network access authentication information. In another example, the target network access authentication information may be determined from the network access authentication information of the multiple other operator networks according to priorities of the multiple other operator networks, for example: and taking the network access authentication information of other operator networks with the highest priority as target network access authentication information. In this embodiment, the priorities of two or more operator networks may be stored in the SIM card in advance, wherein the priorities may be configured by the user.
In the above 106, after the SIM card determines the target access authentication information, the SIM card sends the target access authentication information to the terminal device, so that the terminal device accesses the operator network corresponding to the target access authentication information according to the target access authentication information.
The process that the terminal equipment accesses the operator network corresponding to the target network access authentication information according to the target network access authentication information specifically comprises the following stages: cell search, system information transfer, random access and the like. The specific implementation process of each stage can be referred to in the prior art, and is not detailed here.
The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 3:
as shown in fig. 3:
201. and after the terminal equipment is started, sending an information acquisition command to the SIM card.
202. And after receiving the information acquisition command, the SIM card selects the network access authentication information of the first operator network from the stored network access authentication information of the plurality of operator networks, and sends the network access authentication information of the first operator network to the terminal equipment so that the terminal equipment can access the first operator network.
203. The terminal device sends an F2 command or an Event Download command to the SIM card.
204. And after receiving the F2 command or the Event Download command, the SIM card returns first response information to the terminal equipment, wherein the first response information carries first indication information.
The first indication information is used for indicating that the SIM card has a command which needs to be sent to the terminal equipment.
205. And after receiving the first response message, the terminal device sends a first fetch command to the SIM card according to the first indication message in the first response message.
206. And after receiving the first fetch command, the SIM card returns second response information to the terminal equipment, wherein the second response information carries a command for opening a data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol.
207. After receiving the second response message, the terminal device opens the data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol according to a command for opening the data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol carried in the second response message; and sends a confirmation message to the SIM card.
And the terminal equipment sends confirmation information to the SIM card, which indicates that a data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol is established.
208. And after receiving the confirmation information, the SIM card sends a network access command aiming at the target server to the terminal equipment through the data communication channel.
209. And after receiving the network access command, the terminal equipment encapsulates the network request carried in the network access command according to the communication protocol parameters carried in the network access command and sends the encapsulated network request to the target server.
210. And after receiving the network request, the target server returns response information aiming at the network request to the terminal equipment.
211. And after receiving the response information, the terminal equipment sends a message that the downlink data is ready to the SIM card through the data communication channel.
212. And after receiving the message that the downlink data is prepared, the SIM card acquires response information from the terminal equipment through the data communication channel.
213. And the SIM card determines whether to switch the operator network or not according to the response information.
In practical applications, the steps 203 to 213 are repeated.
The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 4:
as shown in fig. 4:
301. and after the terminal equipment is started, sending an information acquisition command to the SIM card.
302. And after receiving the information acquisition command, the SIM card selects the network access authentication information of the first operator network from the stored network access authentication information of the plurality of operator networks, and sends the network access authentication information of the first operator network to the terminal equipment so that the terminal equipment can access the first operator network. .
303. The terminal device sends an F2 command or an Event Download command to the SIM card.
304. And after receiving the F2 command or the Event Download command, the SIM card returns first response information to the terminal equipment, wherein the first response information carries first indication information.
The first indication information is used for indicating that the SIM card has a command which needs to be sent to the terminal equipment.
305. And after receiving the first response message, the terminal device sends a first fetch command to the SIM card according to the first indication message in the first response message.
306. And after receiving the first fetch command, the SIM card returns second response information to the terminal equipment, wherein the second response information carries a command for opening a data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol.
307. After receiving the second response message, the terminal device opens the data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol according to a command for opening the data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol carried in the second response message; and sends an acknowledgement to the SIM card.
And the terminal equipment sends confirmation information to the SIM card, which indicates that a data communication channel based on the bearer independent protocol is established.
308. And after receiving the confirmation information, the SIM card sends a network access command aiming at the target server to the terminal equipment through the data communication channel.
309. And after receiving the network access command, the terminal equipment encapsulates the network request carried in the network access command according to the communication protocol parameters carried in the network access command and sends the encapsulated network request to the target server.
310. And if the SIM card does not receive the message that the downlink data sent by the terminal equipment is prepared after overtime, the SIM card determines the target network access authentication information from the network access authentication information of other operator networks stored in the SIM card.
In practical applications, the steps 303 to 310 are repeated.
Fig. 5 shows a flowchart of an operator network handover method provided in an embodiment of the present application. The method is suitable for the terminal equipment which is communicated with the SIM card of the subscriber identity module card. The method comprises the following steps:
401. and receiving a network access command which is sent by the SIM card and aims at a target server.
The network access command carries a network request for the target server.
402. And sending the network request to the target server according to the network access command.
403. And after response information returned by the target server aiming at the network request is received, sending the response information to the SIM card so that the SIM card determines whether to switch the operator network.
In practical applications, the terminal device will generally frequently send commands to the SIM card, such as: a status acquisition command (F2 command) is periodically sent to the SIM card, and an Event Download command (Event Download command) is non-periodically sent to the SIM card.
In the above 401, the target server may be a third party server or a preset test server. The network request may specifically include a network handover request for requesting to handover the operator network or a network probe request for probing the quality of the operator network.
When the network request includes a network switching request for requesting to switch an operator network, the network switching request may include identification information of the SIM card and operator network information currently used by the SIM card.
The specific implementation process of the steps 401, 402, and 403 may refer to the corresponding content in the foregoing embodiments.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the SIM card automatically generates a network request aiming at the target server and sends the network request to the terminal equipment in a command form, and the terminal equipment receives the command and then sends the network request carried in the command to the target server; and subsequently, the SIM card automatically determines whether to switch the operator network according to the response data of the target server to the network request. Therefore, in the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the SIM card can autonomously control the switching of the operator network, the terminal equipment only needs to forward the network request to the target server, and hardware or software on the terminal equipment does not need to be modified, so that the development or upgrade difficulty of the terminal equipment side is reduced, and the universality of the scheme can be improved.
In an example, the network access command further carries a communication protocol parameter required for the terminal device to communicate with the target server. The sending the network request to the target server according to the network access command in 402 may include:
4021. and encapsulating the network request according to the communication protocol parameters to obtain the encapsulated network request.
4022. And sending the encapsulated network request to the target server.
The communication protocol parameters may include: address information (e.g., IP address), port number, and communication protocol type of the destination server.
