This process floats carbon-containing impurities such as graphite, carbon-carbon materials, and the like.
For example, in one embodiment, a small amount of regulator is used for regulating the pH value to be 2-3 (the regulator is one or more of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and oxalic acid), a flotation agent (the flotation agent is one or more of laurylamine, octadecylamine, mixed amine, diamine or other amines) is added according to 0.1% -1% of the weight of quartz sand, a foaming agent (the foaming agent is No. 2 oil and surfactant composition) is added according to 0.01% -2% of the weight of the quartz sand, the flotation temperature is 10-60 ℃, and the flotation time is 10-60 minutes. The process floats impurities such as clay and dust. Adding a cleaning agent (one or more of methanol, ethanol, glycol, glycerol and other alcohol compounds) in an amount of 0.1-2% of the weight of the quartz sand, and cleaning the residual flotation agent. Obtaining the high-purity quartz sand which is completely floated.

The high-purity quartz sand after flotation is used as the raw material of the quartz crucible again to produce products without black spots and bubbles, so that the high-purity quartz sand is recycled.
