本发明涉及卷烟制造领域，尤其涉及一种卷烟加香方法和卷烟及其制备方法。该卷烟加香方法包括如下步骤：收集卷包车间的废弃烟末，标识所述废弃烟末的来源卷烟牌号；提取所述废弃烟末的烟草提取物；所述烟草提取物包括烟草精油；确定所述烟草提取物在加香液中的最佳添加量；将所述烟草提取物按照所述最佳添加量加入料液，制得加香液；而后将所述加香液添加到所述来源卷烟牌号对应的烘后烟丝中。采用本发明的加香方法无须进行适用性试验，节省人力物力财力，加香后可保持该卷烟产品风格，彰显品牌特色。可有效的实现烟草废弃物的科学再利用，避免资源浪费，减少环境污染，降本增效，又可提升卷烟加工企业对卷烟加香配方的自主掌控能力。
