背景技术
智能手机等装置的显示屏往往占据装置的整个正面,因此光学传感器位于显示屏下方。带有主动照明单元的光学传感器(例如飞行时间ToF传感器)受此趋势影响,因为光需要通过显示器两次。

此外,电子装置包括光学接收器150。光学接收器150例如集成到显示装置110中。也就是说,光学接收器150是显示装置110的组成部分。光学接收器150被配置为接收光学控制信号141。此外,光学接收器150被配置为基于光学控制信号141产生电控制信号151。例如,光学接收器150可以包括一个或多个光电二极管或其他光电转换电路系统,用于将光学控制信号141转换为电控制信号151。在光学接收器150包括一个或多个光电二极管的情况下,一个或多个光电二极管的光敏区域可以面向光学发射器140。任何种类的材料都可以在光学发射器140和光学接收器150之间被提供用于引导光学控制信号141。例如,气隙、光波导、光纤或其组合可以被设置在光学发射器140和光学接收器150之间,以将光学控制信号141从光学发射器140引导至光学接收器150。
驱动电路160进一步集成到显示装置110中。也就是说,驱动电路160是显示装置110的组成部分。驱动电路160被配置为基于电控制信号151来驱动照明元件120。换言之,驱动电路160依照编码成电控制信号151的控制信息来控制通过照明元件120的光发射。例如,驱动电路160可基于电控制信号151产生并供应一个或多个驱动信号至照明元件120。驱动电路160可以例如形成在显示装置110的基板上(例如在显示装置110的薄膜晶体管层中)。驱动电路160可以包括一个或多个晶体管,用于依照编码到电控制信号151的控制信息来切换/驱动照明元件120。因此,照明元件120依照控制信息发射光121。
在电子装置100内使用所提出的光学传输可以允许为照明元件120供应控制信息,而无需在显示装置110内部进行大量的额外布线。因此,可以在该显示装置110中避免冲突频率、串扰和寄生电容。此外,与欠显示方法相比,在显示装置110中包括照明元件120带来巨大的能量节省效果(例如,对于25%透明的显示装置而言是4倍)。
换言之,本公开提出通过光学连接来控制显示器110内部的照明单元120。因此,用于照明单元120的控制信号通过光学发射器140作为光信号141传输。光学信号141然后由位于显示装置110中的光学接收器150接收。光141在发射器140和接收器150之间传播的材料可以是任何材料(例如气隙、波导、光纤等)。光学信号141被转换为电信号151。驱动电路160根据电信号切换照明单元120。照明单元120依照控制信号向场景121发射光121。反射光121’被位于(例如半透明的)显示器110后面的光学传感器130接收。
如图1所示,光学传感器130可以被配置为向光学发射器140供应控制信息。换言之,光学传感器130可以直接驱动光学发射器140。可选地,放大器电路(未示出)可以耦合在光学传感器130和光学发射器140之间。放大器电路被配置为放大从光学传感器130供应至光学发射器140的电信号。由光学传感器130提供的电信号是以控制信息编码的。放大器电路可以被理解为用于光学发射器140的驱动电路。
在替代示例中,光学传感器130可以向光学发射器140供应同步信息。在这种情况下,光学发射器140被配置为基于从光学传感器130接收到的同步信息产生控制信息。换言之,光学发射器140可替代地本身产生编码到光学控制信号141的控制信息。由于信息同步,控制信息的产生与光学传感器130同步。同步信息指示与光学传感器130的捕获/感测时间相关的信息,使得通过照明单元120的光发射可与光学传感器130的捕获/感测时间同步。

根据一些示例,照明元件120可以包括多个照明子元件(子电路系统、子装置),每个照明子元件被配置为发射用于照亮场景190的光121的一部分。多个照明子元件分布在显示装置110上并且彼此间隔开。例如,照明子元件可以是布置在显示装置的发光元件之间的单个/单独的LED、微型LED和/或VCSEL。或者,照明子元件可以是布置在显示装置的发光元件之间的由LED、微型LED和/或VCSEL构成的组/簇。换言之,照明单元120可以由分布在显示器110上的多个单元组成。
驱动器电路150可以被配置为基于电控制信号151单独驱动多个照明子元件。换言之,多个照明子元件可以由中央驱动器电路150驱动。可替代地,驱动器电路150可以包括多个驱动器子电路,每个驱动器子电路被配置为基于电控制信号151驱动多个照明子元件的一部分。例如,多个照明子元件中的每一个可以具有它自己的驱动子电路。可替代地,多个照明子元件中的至少一个可以驱动多个照明子元件中的一个以上的照明子元件(例如一组或一簇照明子元件)。
例如,光学接收器140的电控制信号151可以在其分配到中央驱动电路或驱动器子电路之前被集成在显示装置110中的放大器电路附加地放大。
为了保护光学接收器150免受任何背景光的影响,可以在光学接收器150上形成光学过滤器(未示出)。例如,光学过滤器可以形成在光学接收器150的一个或多个光电二极管的光敏区域上。光学(例如,带通)过滤器对包括光学控制信号141的波长在内的预定波长范围内的光是唯一透明的。换言之,光学过滤器基本上仅对光学控制信号141是透明的。
附加地或可替代地,电子装置100可以包括遮光罩,该遮光罩被配置为屏蔽光学接收器150免受光学控制信号141之外的光的影响。例如,可以在光学接收器150周围形成阻挡材料以屏蔽光学接收器150免受背景光的影响。

Claims (15)

光学发射器(140),被配置为发射以控制信息编码的光学控制信号(141),所述控制信息用于控制通过所述照明元件(120)的光发射;
光学接收器(150),被集成到所述显示装置(110)中,其中所述光学接收器(150)被配置为:接收所述光学控制信号(141),并基于所述光学控制信号(141)产生电控制信号(151);以及
驱动电路(160),被集成到所述显示装置(110)中,并且被配置为基于所述电控制信号(151)驱动所述照明元件(120)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电子装置,其中所述光学传感器(130)被配置为向所述光学发射器(140)供应所述控制信息。

7.根据权利要求1至6中任一项所述的电子装置,其中在所述光学接收器(150)上形成光学过滤器,其中所述光学过滤器对于包括所述光学控制信号(141)的波长的预定波长范围内的光是唯一透明的。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的电子装置,其中气隙、光波导和光纤中的至少一个被布置在所述光学发射器(140)与所述光学接收器(150)之间,用于将所述光学控制信号(141)从所述光学发射器(140)引导到所述光学接收器(150)。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的电子装置,还包括遮光罩,所述遮光罩被配置为屏蔽所述光学传感器(130)免受所述光学控制信号(141)的影响。

11.根据权利要求1至10中任一项所述的电子装置,其中所述显示器布置在所述光学传感器(130)与所述场景(190)之间。
