The vertical storage rack for storage and transportation of the side plates of the carriages as claimed in claim 8, further comprising a corner protection mechanism, wherein the corner protection mechanism comprises a protective sleeve with an L-shaped structure, reinforcing plates are fixedly connected to two ends of the protective sleeve, a connecting plate which is always perpendicular to the reinforcing plates is rotatably connected to the reinforcing plates, second through holes are formed in the connecting plate, and a cushion is fixedly arranged on the inner side of the protective sleeve; the protective sleeve is fixedly connected with the storage frame through a first through hole, a first stay cable is arranged between the protective sleeve and the storage frame, one end of the first stay cable is fixedly connected with a screw rod which can penetrate through the first through hole, two nuts which are respectively located on two sides of the connecting plate are connected to the screw rod in a threaded mode, the other end of the first stay cable is fixedly connected with a hook, and a hanging ring matched with the hook is fixedly connected to the fixed crosspiece.
