Background
In order to support the requirement of low-delay and high-reliability service transmission, a repeated transmission mechanism is introduced into a 5G New Radio (NR) system. The existing retransmission mechanism may refer to that a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) transmits through two logical channels, that is, one service Bearer (RB, which may also be referred to as a Radio Bearer) corresponds to at most two logical channels. In the activation or deactivation process, only all logical channels can be activated, and the deactivation process is directly reduced from all logical channels to one logical channel, so that the control effect of the repeatedly transmitted logical channels is poor, and the transmission performance of the communication system is low.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the following detailed description is given with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network structure to which the embodiment of the present invention is applicable, and as shown in fig. 1, the network structure includes a terminal 11 and a network side device 12, where the terminal 11 may be a User Equipment (UE) or other terminal devices, for example: terminal side equipment such as a Mobile phone, a Tablet Personal Computer (Tablet Personal Computer), a Laptop Computer (Laptop Computer), a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a Mobile Internet Device (MID), or a Wearable Device (Wearable Device) is not limited to a specific type of terminal in the embodiments of the present invention. The network side device 12 may be a base station, for example: macro station, LTE eNB, 5G NR NB, etc.; the network side device may also be a small station, such as a Low Power Node (LPN), pico, femto, or an Access Point (AP); the base station may also be a network node that is composed of a Central Unit (CU) and a plurality of Transmission Reception Points (TRPs) whose management is and controls. It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the specific type of the network-side device is not limited.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of an activation method for duplicate transmission according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, including the following steps:
201. the terminal receives a MAC CE sent by a network side device, wherein the MAC CE comprises RB indication information and logical channel indication information, the RB indication information is used for indicating an RB configured with repeated transmission, and the logical channel indication information is used for indicating the activation state of part or all logical channels corresponding to the RB configured with repeated transmission.
Wherein, the above-mentioned RBs configured with repeated transmission may refer to RBs configured with repeated transmission, but are not activated or deactivated, and these RBs are activated or deactivated by the above-mentioned MAC CE.
In addition, the above RB indication information may indicate that the repeated transmission is active, and may also indicate that the repeated transmission is inactive or deactivated RBs. The logical channel indication information may indicate activation states of some or all logical channels corresponding to the RBs, so that whether the logical channels are activated or not may be determined through the activation states, and further, whether the repeated transmission of the corresponding RBs is activated or not may also be determined through the activation states of the logical channels, for example: when two or more logic channels corresponding to a certain RB are in an activated state, the repeated transmission of the RB is activated, and on the contrary, when one logic channel corresponding to the certain RB is in the activated state, the repeated transmission of the RB is not activated.
In addition, in the embodiment of the present invention, the RB configured with the repeated transmission may correspond to two or more logical channels.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the activation state may include an activated state or a deactivated state (which may also be referred to as an inactivated state).
By the MAC CE, the condition that one RB configured with repeated transmission corresponds to 2 or more than 2 logic channels can be accurately controlled for repeated transmission, and the resource utilization efficiency can be maximized while the service delay reliability is met. For example: when the logical channel corresponding to an RB configured with repeated transmission is 3, 2 or 3 of the logical channels may be indicated by the logical channel indication information.
As an optional implementation manner, the RB indication information is:
an identification (RB ID) of the RB configured for repeated transmission.
The RB ID is a unique identifier in the terminal configured for the RB by the network side device.
In this embodiment, the RB ID plus logical channel indication information may be implemented to indicate the activation status of the RB and the activation status of the corresponding logical channel.
In an optional implementation manner, the MAC CE is a MAC CE with a variable length, a MAC subheader corresponding to the MAC CE includes an LCID indicating a type of the MAC CE and a length indication field, and the length indication field is used for indicating a length of the MAC CE; or
The MAC CE is a MAC CE with fixed length, and the MAC subheader corresponding to the MAC CE comprises an LCID indicating the type of the MAC CE and does not comprise a length indication domain.
The maximum length of the MAC CE with variable length can configure the maximum RB number which is not transmitted repeatedly, and the length of the MAC CE can be determined according to the current RB number which needs to be indicated or needs to be activated, so that the expense of the MAC CE can be saved. In addition, the length indication field may be indicated by 1 byte.
In addition, in the above embodiment, a MAC CE with a fixed length may also be used, which may save the overhead of the MAC subheader.
As an optional implementation manner, if the RB indication information is the RB ID of the RB configured with repeated transmission, the activation states of the RB configured with repeated transmission appearing in the MAC CE are all activated.
In this embodiment, it may be achieved that the RBs configured for repeated transmission, whose active states are all active, are included in the MAC CE, that is, as long as the active states of the RBs configured for repeated transmission, which are included in the MAC CE, are all active. Thereby, it is possible to reduce the overhead of the MAC CE and simply implement the indication of the activation state of the RB.
Of course, the above is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention, and examples include: in some embodiments, the MAC CE may further include an RB ID of an RB configured with repeated transmission whose activation states are all deactivated.
As an optional implementation manner, if the RB indication information is an RB ID of the RB configured with repeated transmission, the logical channel indication information is used to indicate respective activation states of all logical channels corresponding to each RB in the RB configured with repeated transmission; or
If the RB indication information is the RB ID of the RB configured with the repeated transmission, the logical channel indication information is used to indicate an activation state of a partial logical channel corresponding to each RB in the RB configured with the repeated transmission, where a logical channel not indicated by the logical channel indication information in each RB is a main logical channel, and the activation state of the main logical channel is activated when the RB is activated.
In this embodiment, the respective activation states of all logical channels corresponding to each RB by the above logical channel indication information can be realized, and the respective activation states of each logical channel can be accurately controlled.
In addition, in this embodiment, it may also be implemented that the logical channel indication information indicates the activation status of part of the logical channels, because, in this embodiment, one primary logical channel may be configured for each RB, and the activation status of the primary logical channel is activated when the RB is activated, so that the primary logical channel does not need to be indicated, so as to reduce the overhead of the MAC CE.
Optionally, each RB in the MAC CE has corresponding logical channel indication information, and the logical channel indication information of each RB indicates an activation state of all or part of logical channels of the RB according to a specific logical channel sequence.
The specific logical channel sequence may be ordered from small to large according to the logical channel numbers, or the logical channel configuration order, or the main base station is ordered first and then the auxiliary base stations are ordered according to the corresponding base station nodes, and each logical channel in each base station is ordered according to the logical channel number. Preferably, the specific logical channel sequence may be pre-configured, or pre-defined in a protocol, etc.
In this embodiment, since each RB has its corresponding logical channel indication information and indicates the activation status of all or part of the logical channels of the RB according to a specific logical channel order, there is no need to add logical channel identifiers to the logical channel indication information, thereby reducing the overhead of the MAC CE.
It should be noted that the various alternative embodiments described above can be implemented in combination, and the following four examples are used to exemplify the various alternative embodiments:
the first embodiment is as follows: RB ID + all logical channel indication, MAC CE variable length
In this embodiment, all logical channels corresponding to the RBs configured for repeated transmission may be deactivated, i.e., there is no main logical channel that is always activated. The RB ID is a unique ID in the UE configured for the RB by the base station. The MAC CE only contains the RBs which need to be activated or deactivated and are configured with repeated transmission, the length is variable, and the maximum length is the maximum number of the RBs which can be configured with repeated transmission. With the MAC CE format, the MAC subheader includes a length indication field L, and the length of the field L is 1 byte. The duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader.
As shown in fig. 3, one byte corresponds to the repeated transmission activation/deactivation of one RB. The length of RB ID is 5 bits, 3 logic channels are configured at most for one RB, namely, at most 3 repeated transmissions exist in one PDCP PDU, and each logic channel corresponds to one bit. The corresponding relation between the logic channel sequence and the bit is arranged according to the sequence of the logic channel configuration or the size of the logic channel number. For example, the RB ID1 has 3 logical channels configured, and the sequence in RRC signaling is LCID 1-6, LCID 2-4, and LCID 3-5. If the protocol specifies that the sequence is configured according to the logical channels, L1, L2 and L3 in the first byte respectively correspond to LCID1, LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are small to large, L1, L2, and L3 in the first byte correspond to LCID2, LCID3, and LCID1, respectively; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are large to small, L1, L2, L3 in the first byte correspond to LCID1, LCID3, and LCID2, respectively. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the third logical channel indication field corresponding to the RB ID, i.e., L3, is a reserved bit, the base station gNB fills in an arbitrary value or a fixed value specified by a protocol, and the terminal ignores the bit.
Example two: RB ID + all logical channel indication, MAC CE fixed length
In this embodiment, all logical channels corresponding to the RBs configured for repeated transmission may be deactivated, i.e., there is no main logical channel that is always activated. The RB ID is a unique ID in the UE configured for the RB by the base station. The MAC CE length is fixed to the maximum number of RBs to which repeated transmission can be configured. The MAC CE only contains ID of RB which needs to be activated or deactivated and is configured with repeated transmission, if the ID is less than the maximum number of RB which can be configured with repeated transmission, the residual bytes are reserved bytes, bit base stations in the reserved bytes configure any value or configure a numerical value specified by a protocol, and a terminal ignores the partial bytes. With this MAC CE format, the MAC subheader does not include the length indication field L, and the duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader in order to indicate the MAC subheader of the fixed-length MAC CE.
As shown in fig. 4, one byte corresponds to the activation/deactivation of the repeated transmission of one RB, and the maximum number of RBs that can be configured as repeated transmission is 8, so the length of the MAC CE is 8 bytes. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the third logical channel indication field corresponding to the RB ID, i.e., L3, is a reserved bit, the base station fills in an arbitrary value or a fixed value specified by a protocol, and the terminal ignores the bit.
Example three: RB ID + partial logical channel indication, MAC CE variable length
In this embodiment, if there is a main logical channel that is always activated in the logical channels corresponding to the RBs configured for repeated transmission, the MAC CE for repeated transmission activation/deactivation only needs to include a logical channel indication that can be deactivated. The RB ID is a unique ID in the UE configured for the RB by the base station. The MAC CE only contains the RB which needs to be activated or deactivated for repeated transmission, the length is variable, and the maximum length is the maximum RB number which can be configured for repeated transmission. With the MAC CE format, the MAC subheader includes a length indication field L, and the length of the field L is 1 byte. The duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader.
As shown in fig. 5, one byte corresponds to the repeated transmission activation/deactivation of one RB. The length of RB ID is 5 bits, 3 logic channels are configured at most for one RB, namely, at most 3 repeated transmissions exist in one PDCP PDU, and each logic channel which can be deactivated corresponds to one bit. The corresponding relation between the logic channel sequence and the bit is arranged according to the sequence of the logic channel configuration or the size of the logic channel number. For example, the RB ID1 configures 3 logical channels, and the sequence in the RRC signaling is LCID 1-6, LCID 2-5, and LCID 3-4, where LCID1 is the primary logical channel and is not indicated by the logical channel indication field. If the protocol specifies that the sequence is configured according to the logical channels, L1 and L2 in the first byte respectively correspond to LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel number is from small to large, L1 and L2 in the first byte respectively correspond to LCID3 and LCID 2; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are large to small, L1, L2 in the first byte correspond to LCID2, LCID3, respectively. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the logical channel indication fields L1 and L2 corresponding to the RB ID are reserved bits, the base station fills in an arbitrary value or a fixed value specified by a protocol, and the terminal ignores the bits.
Example four: RB ID + indication of deactivatable logical channels, fixed length
The MAC CE only contains the RB which needs to be activated or deactivated for repeated transmission, and the length is fixed to the maximum RB number which can be configured for repeated transmission.
6, one byte corresponds to the repeated transmission activation/deactivation of one RB. If the protocol specifies that the sequence is configured according to the logical channels, L1 and L2 in the first byte respectively correspond to LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel number is from small to large, L1 and L2 in the first byte correspond to LCID3 and LCID2, respectively; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are large to small, L1, L2 in the first byte correspond to LCID2 and LCID3, respectively. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the logical channel indication fields L1 and L2 corresponding to the RB ID are reserved bits, the base station fills in an arbitrary value or a fixed value specified by a protocol, and the terminal ignores the bits.
As an optional implementation manner, the RB indication information is:
and a bitmap (bitmap), each bit corresponding to an RB configured with repeated transmission.
In this embodiment, the RB configured with the repeated transmission may be indicated by a bitmap, and each bit corresponds to one RB configured with the repeated transmission. The rule indicated by the Bitmap can be configured in advance or agreed in advance in the protocol, for example: the RBs to which the repeated transmission is configured may be indicated in the order of RB IDs from large to small, or may be indicated in the order of RB IDs from small to large.
The repeated transmission RB is indicated by the bitmap, so that the overhead of the MAC CE can be saved.
Also, in this embodiment, the MAC CE is a MAC CE with a variable length, the MAC subheader corresponding to the MAC CE includes a logical channel number LCID indicating the type of the MAC CE and a length indication field, and the length indication field is used to indicate the length of the MAC CE; or
The MAC CE is a MAC CE with fixed length, and the MAC subheader corresponding to the MAC CE comprises an LCID indicating the type of the MAC CE and does not comprise a length indication domain.
As an optional implementation manner, the bitmap is further configured to indicate an activation state of the RB configured with the repeated transmission, where each bit in the bitmap corresponds to an RB ID configured with the repeated transmission, and whether the corresponding RB activates the repeated transmission is determined according to a corresponding bit position of 0 or 1.
Since each bit corresponds to an RB configured with repeated transmission, whether the corresponding RB activates repeated transmission can be represented by the value of the bit, for example: 1 determines whether the corresponding RB activates the repeat transmission, or 0 determines whether the corresponding RB activates the repeat transmission. This can achieve the effect of indicating the activation state of an RB configured for repeated transmission by a small number of bits.
Optionally, the logical channel indication information is configured to indicate respective activation states of all logical channels corresponding to activated RBs in the RBs to which repeat transmission is configured, where the activated RBs are RBs capable of performing repeat transmission; or
The logical channel indication information is used to indicate an activation state of a part of logical channels corresponding to activated RBs in the RBs to which the repeated transmission is configured, where a logical channel not indicated by the logical channel indication information in each activated RB is a main logical channel, the activation state of the main logical channel is activated when the corresponding RB is activated, and the activated RB is an RB capable of performing the repeated transmission.
The RB capable of performing repeated transmission may be an RB in which the bitmap indicates activation of repeated transmission.
In this embodiment, the respective activation states of all logical channels corresponding to each activated RB may be accurately controlled through the above logical channel indication information, and only the respective activation states of all logical channels corresponding to the activated RB need to be indicated, so that the overhead of the MAC CE may be reduced.
In addition, in this embodiment, it may also be implemented that the logical channel indication information indicates the activation states of some logical channels, because, in this embodiment, one main logical channel may be configured for each activated RB, and the activation state of the main logical channel is activated when the RB is activated, so that it is not necessary to indicate the main logical channel, and it is only necessary to indicate the respective activation states of all logical channels corresponding to the activated RB, so that the overhead of the MAC CE may be reduced.
Optionally, the logical channel indication information sequentially includes logical channel indication information corresponding to activated RBs in the RBs configured with repeated transmission according to the order in which the bitmap indicates the RBs configured with repeated transmission, and the logical channel indication information of each activated RB indicates the activation state of all or part of the logical channels of the activated RB according to a specific logical channel order.
In this embodiment, it is possible to realize that the order of the logical channel indication information corresponds to the order in which the bitmap indicates the activated RBs, because the logical channel indication information of the inactive RBs is not included, it is possible to accurately indicate the activation state of all or part of the logical channels of each activated RB.
In addition, in this embodiment, the specific logical channel sequence may refer to the specific logical channel sequence described in the foregoing embodiment, which is not described herein again.
Likewise, the various alternative embodiments described above may be implemented in combination with each other, and are illustrated below by four examples:
example five: RB indication + all logical channel indication for bitmap, MAC CE variable length
In this embodiment, all logical channels corresponding to RBs configured for repeated transmission may be deactivated, i.e., there is no main logical channel that is always activated. And the 1 st byte of the repeated transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE uses bitmap to indicate whether all RBs configured with repeated transmission are activated/deactivated for repeated transmission, and then sequentially indicates whether corresponding logical channels are activated for activating the RBs configured with repeated transmission. The 1 st byte only indicates the configuration of the repeated transmission, the RB which can be activated/deactivated by the repeated transmission, and the corresponding relation of the RB and the bit of the 1 st byte corresponds to the configuration sequence of the repeated transmission RB or the sequence of the repeated transmission RB numbers from large to small. The corresponding relation between the logic channel sequence and the bit is arranged according to the sequence of the logic channel configuration or the size of the logic channel number. For example, the DRB7 configures 3 logical channels, and the sequence in RRC signaling is LCID 1-6, LCID 2-4, and LCID 3-5. If the protocol specifies that the logical channels are configured according to the sequence, after the DRB7 activates the repeat transmission (bit position 1 corresponds to the 1 st byte), the corresponding logical channel indication positions L1, L2, and L3 respectively correspond to LCID1, LCID2, and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel number is from small to large, L1, L2 and L3 corresponding to the DRB7 respectively correspond to LCID2, LCID3 and LCID 1; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are from large to small, L1, L2 and L3 corresponding to DRB7 correspond to LCID1, LCID3 and LCID2, respectively. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the third logical channel indication field corresponding to the RB, i.e., L3, is a reserved bit, the base station fills in an arbitrary value or a fixed value specified by a protocol, and the terminal ignores the bit.
As shown in fig. 7, the base station configures DRB7, DRB6, and DRB5 for the UE to perform repeated transmission, so that the first 3 bits of the 1 st byte correspond to DRB7, DRB6, and DRB5, and the subsequent bits of the 1 st byte are reserved bits. The base station indicates DRB7 and DRB5 to activate repeat transmission (i.e. 1 st and 3 rd bits are set to 1), and RB6 deactivates repeat transmission (2 nd bit is set to 0); therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, the 1 st to 3 rd bits of the 2 nd byte correspond to 3 logical channels of RB7, and the 4 th to 6 th bits correspond to 3 logical channels of RB 5.
With the MAC CE format, the MAC subheader includes a length indication field L, and the length of the field L is 1 byte. The duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the RB may be a Data Radio Bearer (DRB), but the RB is not limited thereto.
Example six: RB indication + all logical channel indication of bitmap, fixed length
In this embodiment, all logical channels corresponding to the RBs configured for repeated transmission may be deactivated, i.e., there is no main logical channel that is always activated. For example, RB7 has 3 logical channels configured, and the sequence in RRC signaling is LCID 1-6, LCID 2-4, and LCID 3-5. If the protocol specifies that the logical channels are configured according to the sequence, after RB7 activates repeated transmission (bit position 1 corresponds to the 1 st byte), the corresponding logical channel indication positions L1, L2 and L3 respectively correspond to LCID1, LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel number is from small to large, L1, L2 and L3 corresponding to RB7 respectively correspond to LCID2, LCID3 and LCID 1; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are from large to small, L1, L2 and L3 corresponding to DRB7 correspond to LCID1, LCID3 and LCID2, respectively. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the third logical channel indication field corresponding to the RB, i.e., L3, is a reserved bit, the base station fills in an arbitrary value or a fixed value specified by a protocol, and the terminal ignores the bit.
As shown in fig. 9, the base station configures DRB7, DRB6, and DRB5 for the UE to perform repeated transmission, so that the first 3 bits of the 1 st byte correspond to DRB7, DRB6, and DRB5, and the subsequent bits of the 1 st byte are reserved bits. The base station instructs the DRB7 and DRB5 to activate repeat transmission (i.e. 1 st and 3 rd bits are set to 1), and the DRB6 deactivates repeat transmission (2 nd bit is set to 0); therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, the 1 st to 3 rd bits of the 2 nd byte correspond to 3 logical channels of the DRB7, and the 4 th to 6 th bits correspond to 3 logical channels of the DRB 5.
With this MAC CE format, the MAC subheader does not contain the length indication field L. The duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader.
Example seven: RB indication + deactivatable logical channel indication for bitmap, variable length
In this embodiment, if there is a main logical channel that is always activated in the logical channels corresponding to the RBs configured for repeated transmission, the MAC CE for repeated transmission activation/deactivation only needs to include a logical channel indication that can be deactivated. For example, the DRB7 configures 3 logical channels, and the sequence in RRC signaling is LCID 1-6, LCID 2-4, and LCID 3-5, where LCID1 is the primary logical channel and is always active. If the protocol specifies that the sequence is configured according to the logical channels, after the DRB7 activates the repeated transmission (bit position 1 corresponding to the 1 st byte), the corresponding logical channel indicating positions L1 and L2 respectively correspond to LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel number is from small to large, L1 and L2 corresponding to the DRB7 respectively correspond to LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are from large to small, L1 and L2 corresponding to the DRB7 correspond to LCID3 and LCID2, respectively. If an RB configures only two logical channels, the RB has no corresponding logical channel indication field.
As shown in fig. 11, the base station configures DRB7, DRB6, DRB5, and DRB4 for the UE to perform repeated transmission, so that the first 4 bits of the 1 st byte correspond to DRB7, DRB6, DRB5, and DRB4, and the subsequent bits of the 1 st byte are reserved bits. The base station indicates DRB7, DRB5 and DRB4 to activate repeat transmission (i.e. 1 st, 3 rd and 4 th bits are set to 1), DRB6 deactivates repeat transmission (2 nd bit is set to 0); therefore, as shown in fig. 12, the 1 st and 2 nd bits of the 2 nd byte correspond to 2 logical channels of the DRB7 that can activate/deactivate repeat transmission, the 3 rd and 4 th bits correspond to 2 logical channels of the DRB5, and specifically, the DRB4 is configured with only two logical channels, and activating repeat transmission indicates that the two logical channels are both activated without additional indication, so that no logical channel indication field subsequently corresponds to the DRB 4.
With the MAC CE format, the MAC subheader includes a length indication field L, and the length of the field L is 1 byte. The duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader.
Example eight: RB indication + deactivatable logical channel indication for bitmap, fixed length
In this embodiment, if there is a main logical channel that is always activated in the logical channels corresponding to the RBs configured for repeated transmission, the MAC CE for repeated transmission activation/deactivation only needs to include a logical channel indication that can be deactivated. The 1 st byte only indicates the RB which is configured with the repeated transmission and can be activated/deactivated in the repeated transmission, and the corresponding relation of the RB and the bit of the 1 st byte corresponds to the configuration sequence of the repeated transmission RB or the sequence of the RB numbers which are configured with the repeated transmission from large to small. The corresponding relation between the logic channel sequence and the bit is arranged according to the sequence of the logic channel configuration or the size of the logic channel number. For example, the DRB7 configures 3 logical channels, and the sequence in RRC signaling is LCID 1-6, LCID 2-4, and LCID 3-5, where LCID1 is the primary logical channel and is always active. If the protocol specifies that the sequence is configured according to the logical channels, the DRB7 activates the repeated transmission (the bit corresponding to the 1 st byte is set to be 1), and then the corresponding logical channel indication positions L1 and L2 respectively correspond to the LCID2 and the LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel number is from small to large, L1 and L2 corresponding to the DRB7 respectively correspond to LCID2 and LCID 3; if the protocol specifies that the logical channel numbers are from large to small, L1 and L2 corresponding to the DRB7 correspond to LCID3 and LCID2, respectively. If only two logical channels are configured for one RB, the RB does not need to perform a corresponding logical channel activation indication. In the eighth embodiment, a fixed-length MAC CE format is adopted, and is fixed to 3 bytes, the 1 st byte indicates activation/deactivation of the repeatedly transmitted RB, and the 2 nd and 3 rd bytes are logical channel indications sequentially corresponding to the activated repeatedly transmitted RB. The unused bits are reserved bits and may be filled with any value or protocol specified value, such as 0. After receiving the MAC CE, the UE ignores the reserved field.
As shown in fig. 13, the base station configures DRB7, DRB6, DRB5, and DRB4 for the UE to perform repeated transmission, so that the first 4 bits of the 1 st byte correspond to DRB7, DRB6, DRB5, and DRB4, and the subsequent bits of the 1 st byte are reserved bits. The base station indicates DRB7, DRB5 and DRB4 to activate repeat transmission (i.e. 1 st, 3 rd and 4 th bits are set to 1), DRB6 deactivates repeat transmission (2 nd bit is set to 0); therefore, as shown in fig. 14, the 1 st and 2 nd bits of the 2 nd byte correspond to 2 logical channels of the DRB7 that can activate/deactivate repeat transmission, the 3 rd and 4 th bits correspond to 2 logical channels of the DRB5, and specifically, the DRB4 is configured with only two logical channels, and activating repeat transmission indicates that the two logical channels are both activated without additional indication, so that no logical channel indication field subsequently corresponds to the DRB 4.
With this MAC CE format, the MAC subheader does not contain the length indication field L. The duplicate transmission activation/deactivation MAC CE is indicated with a specific LCID in the MAC subheader.
As an optional implementation manner, if the terminal is connected to multiple network side devices, the MAC CE transmitted by each network side device only includes RB indication information and logical channel indication information of a MAC entity that transmits the MAC CE.
In this embodiment, it may be implemented in dual connectivity or other multiple connectivity, where each MAC CE includes only RB indication information and logical channel indication information of the MAC entity that transmits the MAC CE, that is, the MAC entity only activates or deactivates the logical channel transmitted by the MAC entity.
It should be noted that this embodiment can be implemented in combination with the various alternative embodiments described above.
