Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic flow chart of an information configuration method according to an embodiment of the present application is shown, where the method includes the following steps:
and S101, acquiring configuration information of the basic input and output system in response to the received configuration instruction.
And S102, controlling the basic input and output system to generate a configuration file based on the configuration information.
S103, transmitting the configuration file to the baseboard management controller to control the baseboard management controller to store the configuration file to a storage position matched with the storage network address.
The BIOS (Basic Input Output System) is a set of programs that are fixed on a ROM chip on a main board in a computer, and stores the most important Basic Input and Output programs of the computer, a self-test program after power-on, and a System self-boot program. The BIOS setting function is a function of setting a BIOS by configuration information or a configuration file, and may include factory default setting, boot entry setting, attribute setting, chipset setting function, power management setting, and the like.
In step S101 of the embodiment of the present application, a configuration instruction is received, and configuration information of a basic input/output system is acquired. The configuration instruction may be an instruction for starting a BIOS setting interface, or an instruction for inputting relevant BIOS configuration information by a user. The specific type of the BIOS configuration information is not limited in the embodiment of the present application, for example, the configuration system information may include configuration information of an operating system, configuration information of memory parameters, an IP address, and other configuration information.
After the configuration information is obtained in step S102, the configuration file is generated based on the corresponding configuration information, and the process of generating the configuration file includes a naming process for the configuration file, and may be automatically named through parameter information such as an operation object and operation time, or named based on a file name input by a user, which is not limited to this.
In step S103, the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) may perform operations such as firmware upgrade on the machine and checking the device status of the machine when the device is not powered on. The configuration file is transmitted to the baseboard management controller, and the configuration file is stored on the network by using the network transmission function of the baseboard management controller, namely, the configuration file is stored in a storage position matched with the storage network address. The storage network address may be a default cloud storage network address, or a cloud storage location specified by the user.
The configuration file is stored in the cloud network position, the configuration file cannot be lost along with the change of the hardware and software environment of the electronic equipment, and the corresponding configuration file can be stored until the configuration file is required to be connected with a network through a substrate management controller without depending on an operating system and a professional configuration file storage tool of the electronic equipment. The aim of storing a plurality of sets of configuration files and preventing the configuration files from being lost easily is fulfilled.
In a possible implementation manner of the embodiment of the application, in response to receiving an instruction to start a configuration interface storing a configuration file of a bios, configuration information of the bios is acquired. The instruction for starting the configuration interface may refer to an instruction for entering the configuration interface, or may be an instruction for automatically calling the configuration interface when an operating system or other hardware or software in the electronic device fails, where the configuration interface may include a BIOS configuration list, and may modify a BIOS configuration parameter in the configuration interface, determine the modified configuration parameter as current configuration information of the BIOS, generate a corresponding configuration file based on the current configuration information, and transmit the configuration file to a designated network storage location through the BMC for storage.
In another possible implementation, the method further includes, in response to receiving an input instruction that the target object inputs the configuration information of the basic input output system, acquiring the configuration information of the basic input output system. In this embodiment, the target object may be an operation user of the current electronic device or a remote user controlling the electronic device. The input instruction may be an instruction generated by a user pressing a configuration information input shortcut key, or an invar instruction of the user, and the specific type is not limited in the embodiment of the application, and may be determined according to the actual situation of the electronic device. When the input instruction is acquired, the information input by the target object is monitored, and the information obtained through monitoring is determined as the current configuration information. And then generating a corresponding configuration file, and transmitting the configuration file to a corresponding network storage address through the BMC for storage.
In order to enable the configuration file stored in the cloud network to be convenient for obtaining the target object, in the embodiment of the application, when the BIOS transmits the configuration file to the BMC, a user may input a storage network address and a file name of the configuration file to be generated through a corresponding BIOS configuration interface. I.e., the BIOS may obtain the storage network address and file name that match the configuration file. And then controlling the BIOS to send the generated configuration file and the storage network address and the file name matched with the configuration file to the BMC. Correspondingly, the step of storing the configuration file to a storage location matched with the storage network address by the control substrate management controller includes: and controlling the baseboard management controller to establish communication connection with a network corresponding to the storage network address so as to obtain whether the baseboard management controller acquires a configuration file corresponding to the file name in the network. And if so, controlling the substrate management controller to generate prompt information, and controlling the substrate management controller to send the prompt information to the basic input and output system, so that the basic input and output system changes the file name corresponding to the configuration file based on the prompt information. And if the configuration file does not exist, storing the configuration file to the network corresponding to the storage network address by using the file name. In this embodiment, the user may preset a file name corresponding to the configuration file, so as to facilitate subsequent searching based on the file name, and may further specify a network storage location. When the network function based on the BMC is used for storage, whether a configuration file stored by the file name exists or not needs to be acquired from a corresponding network address, and if so, a user can select to change the file name. If the user does not change the file name, the storage failure is prompted, and the user can directly exit.
In another embodiment of the present application, the BIOS configuration file stored on the network may also be acquired based on the network function of the BMC, that is, in response to receiving the configuration file acquisition instruction, the acquisition instruction is sent to the BMC, so that the BMC acquires the target storage network address matched with the acquisition instruction; the control substrate management controller acquires a target configuration file matched with the acquisition instruction at a target storage network address; and the control substrate management controller sends the target configuration file to the basic input and output system so that the basic input and output system loads the configuration information based on the target configuration file. The obtaining instruction may carry related information of the configuration file to be obtained, such as a file name, a target storage network address, and the like, so that the BMC may obtain the target configuration file corresponding to the obtaining instruction.
Further, in the embodiment of the present application, if a corresponding device cannot enter the BIOS any more due to modification of a certain BIOS setting, the BIOS configuration file stored on the network may be downloaded through the BMC network function, so that the BIOS can be recovered, and a trouble of removing the device may be avoided.
Correspondingly, if the electronic equipment is in the first state, a remote configuration file acquisition instruction of a target object of the electronic equipment is acquired, and the acquisition instruction is sent to the substrate management controller. The first state represents a state in which the electronic device cannot perform a target operation based on the initial configuration information, and the target operation may be an operation that cannot enter an operating system and cannot enter the BIOS again. That is, the first state is a state that the system of the system electronic device is really disabled to be powered on, and is not a state that the system is not powered on. And then, the substrate management controller is controlled to acquire a target storage network address corresponding to a configuration file capable of enabling the electronic device to be in a second state, the corresponding target configuration file is acquired based on the target storage network address, and after BIOS setting is performed based on the target configuration file, the electronic device can be enabled to enter the second state, wherein the second state is a state in which the electronic device can perform target operation, for example, the electronic device is enabled to enter an operating system, so that a real power-on state can be realized.
In another embodiment of the present application, if the electronic device system can be normally started, after receiving an instruction to acquire the configuration file or an instruction to query the configuration file, acquiring the configuration file based on the instruction may not directly perform BIOS configuration, and may further generate preview information of the acquired configuration file, so that a user can determine whether to perform BIOS configuration by using the configuration file as a final configuration file. Specifically, if the electronic device is in the second state, the query instruction is sent to the baseboard management controller in response to receiving the query instruction for querying the configuration file. The control substrate management controller acquires a target storage network address matched with the query instruction; and the control substrate management controller acquires a first configuration file at the target storage network address. And determining the first configuration file as a target configuration file in response to the baseboard management controller receiving a confirmation instruction matched with the first configuration file. The user may directly determine the configuration file downloaded by the BMC as the information to configure. The configuration information in the configuration file may also be selected to be previewed to determine whether to use it as final configuration information.
In another embodiment, in response to the baseboard management controller sending the first configuration file to the basic input output system, the basic input output system is controlled to load a configuration information preview interface matched with the first configuration file; if the adjustment instruction is received based on the configuration information preview interface, controlling the basic input and output system to send the adjustment instruction to the substrate management controller, so that the substrate management controller obtains a second configuration file corresponding to the adjustment instruction; and if a confirmation instruction corresponding to the second configuration file is received, determining the second configuration file as a target configuration file.
In this embodiment, if the configuration file downloaded by the BMC is not determined by the user, the user may select to download again, and determine the downloaded configuration file as the target configuration file until the user's requirement is met, where the adjustment instruction is a re-download instruction generated by the user based on the configuration information presented in the preview interface. If the user of the first configuration file does not confirm, the second configuration file is downloaded, the configuration information in the second configuration file is presented, if the user confirms, the second configuration file is taken as the configuration information of the BIOS to be loaded and operated, if the second configuration file cannot be confirmed by the user, the third configuration file is continuously downloaded until the user confirms the configuration file based on the preview configuration information, and then the system is restarted to finish the configuration process.
Further, if an adjustment instruction is received based on the configuration information preview interface, the basic input and output system is controlled to acquire a target configuration file from the configuration file of the target object corresponding to the adjustment instruction. In order to obtain the configuration file corresponding to the target object more quickly, the corresponding configuration file may be obtained based on the related information of the target object, for example, the configuration file stored before the target object is obtained, and the configuration file may also be obtained based on a storage address common to the target object.
The configuration file acquired in the embodiment of the present application may also be a configuration file modified based on the original configuration information. That is, in response to receiving a change instruction of first configuration information of the bios, second configuration information is generated based on update information of the first configuration information, wherein a file name of the second configuration information is different from a file name of the first configuration information. When a user modifies configuration information in an existing configuration file, a new configuration file is generated based on the modified configuration information, and it should be noted that the file name of the configuration file is different from that of the configuration file before modification, so as to facilitate recording. It is also possible that the modified configuration information overwrites the configuration information of the previous configuration file, i.e. so that there is only one configuration file of the corresponding file name.
The following describes an implementation of recovering BIOS settings in the embodiment of the present application in a specific application scenario. Referring to fig. 2, the processing flow corresponding to the application scenario may include the following steps:
s201, determining whether the electronic equipment system is started, if so, executing S202, and if not, executing S203.
S202, entering a webpage corresponding to the BMC, and downloading a BIOS configuration file of a network position.
S203, starting to a BIOS configuration interface.
And S204, receiving the storage position and the file name of the configuration file input by the user based on the BIOS configuration interface.
S205, generating an acquisition instruction and transmitting the acquisition instruction to the BMC so that the BMC can download the corresponding BIOS configuration file from the network.
S206, displaying the preview configuration information corresponding to the BIOS configuration file, so that the user can obtain the preview configuration information.
And S207, if the user selects to input again, executing S204, otherwise, executing S208.
And S208, restarting the system based on the BIOS configuration file.
