Background
Currently, vertical barrier systems are the fastest and safest method of blocking unwanted underground liquid flow from solid waste contaminated leachate. The use of HDPE membranes for closure blocking can provide direct protection and long-term blocking. But the connection between two HDPE geomembranes is very important, so that the two membranes are fixedly connected together to form a complete barrier membrane wall, and meanwhile, the water impermeability of the connection part of the two membranes is ensured, and pollution diffusion caused by leakage of a connecting device is prevented.
The water stop strip is formed by mixing a high polymer inorganic water-absorbing expansion material and rubber, and is a main application material for preventing and controlling leakage of various engineering construction joints. The water stop strip generates expansion deformation of 2-3 times after meeting water, fills all irregular surfaces, holes and gaps of joints, and simultaneously generates huge contact pressure to thoroughly prevent leakage. The existing water stop strip is inconvenient in sealing installation because of small cavity formed by membrane connection, very narrow operation space and filling sundries caused by construction at the cavity part, difficult to fix and guide installation, time-consuming, labor-consuming and poor in effect. Therefore, a novel guide fixing and installing device for the water stop bar is needed to solve the problem.
