Currently, the vertical barrier system is the fastest and safest method to block the flow of harmful underground liquids due to solid waste contaminating the leaking fluid. The use of HDPE films for closure shutoff can provide direct protection and long term shutoff. But the connection between two blocks of HDPE geomembranes is very important, and not only needs to fixedly connect the two blocks of membranes together to form a complete barrier membrane wall, but also ensures the watertightness of the joint of the two membranes, and prevents pollution from diffusing due to leakage of a connecting device.
The water stop strip is formed by mixing a high-molecular inorganic water-absorbing expansion material and rubber, and is a main application material for preventing and treating leakage of various engineering construction joints. The water stop strip generates 2-3 times of expansion deformation after meeting water, is full of all irregular surfaces, cavities and gaps of seams, generates huge contact pressure and thoroughly prevents leakage. The existing water stop strip is not large in cavity formed by membrane connection, operation space is very narrow, and filling sundries at the cavity position caused by construction need to be cleaned, so that the water stop strip is inconvenient to install in a sealing manner, is not easy to fix and guide, wastes time and energy, and has poor effect. Therefore, a new guide fixing installation device for the water stop strip is needed to solve the problem.
