Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart of an OSD menu control method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step 110, the original OSD menu is synthesized with the background video stream, and the OSD menu synthesized with the background video stream is converted into an OSD menu in the form of a video stream.
The original OSD menu, i.e., the conventional OSD menu, mainly includes graphics and fonts. In practical applications, a path of background video stream for synthesizing to the original OSD menu may be preset. The background video stream may serve as the background for the original OSD menu. After the original OSD menu is synthesized with the background video stream, the synthesized result is converted into a video stream, which is a video stream of the OSD menu synthesized with the background video stream, thereby obtaining the OSD menu in the form of a video stream. The OSD menu in the form of video stream includes the background video stream and the original OSD menu, so that the function of the original OSD menu is still provided.
Step 120, displaying an OSD menu in the form of a video stream in a display screen of the display device.
In this embodiment, the original OSD menu and the background video stream are synthesized and converted into the OSD menu in the form of the video stream, and the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is displayed in the display picture of the display device.
In addition, because the OSD menu in the form of video stream contains background video stream, the content of the video is richer than that of simple fonts and graphs, and the user visual experience is higher. Based on this, the OSD menu in the form of video stream can be displayed as a signal source in the display screen of the display device. Then, when the OSD menu in the form of a video stream is displayed in the display screen of the display device, the OSD menu in the form of a video stream may be separately displayed in the display screen of the display device. At this time, the background video stream can be used as an operation interface. Of course, the OSD menu in the form of a video stream may also be displayed in the display screen of the display device as a signal source together with at least one target video stream. Therefore, the OSD in the form of video stream has the same video attribute as other video streams and can be synthesized into any video stream for OSD operation, thereby achieving the effects of beautiful vision and convenient operation.
The scheme of the present embodiment may be performed by the display device or a combination of software and/or hardware therein.
Based on the above embodiment, after the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is displayed in the display screen of the display device, the OSD menu control method may further include: and controlling to adjust the target attribute of the OSD menu in the video stream form in response to the adjustment operation for the target attribute of the OSD menu in the video stream form. The target attribute is the attribute of the OSD menu that needs to be adjusted currently. In this way, the user can input the adjustment operation for the target attribute of the OSD menu in the video stream format according to the requirement to control and adjust the target attribute of the OSD menu in the video stream format.
In an exemplary embodiment, the specific implementation manner of controlling and adjusting the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may include: and controlling and adjusting the display position of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream in response to the target attribute being the display position.
In practical applications, after displaying the OSD menu in the form of the video stream, a first adjustment operation may be performed with respect to a display position of the displayed OSD menu, where the first adjustment operation is an operation of moving the OSD menu to a target position, and at this time, controlling and adjusting the display position of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may specifically include: and acquiring a target position corresponding to the first adjusting operation, and controlling and adjusting the display position of the OSD menu to be the target position corresponding to the first adjusting operation. The target position is the position to which the OSD menu needs to be adjusted.
In this embodiment, since the video stream type OSD menu has the attribute of the video and the display position of the video can be flexibly adjusted, the display position of the video stream type OSD menu can be flexibly adjusted, so that the display position of the video stream type OSD menu is adjusted to a position convenient for viewing.
In an exemplary embodiment, the display screen includes a screen of a plurality of target video streams selected by a user, and an OSD menu in the form of a video stream is displayed in the display screen of the display device, and a specific implementation manner of the OSD menu may include: and displaying an OSD menu in the form of a video stream in a picture of at least one target video stream of the multiple target video streams.
With the increasing demand of multi-picture display, in practical application, a user can select multiple paths of video streams to be displayed as target video streams, use the multiple paths of target video streams as signal sources, and display the pictures of one path of target video streams in each of multiple areas in a display picture of display equipment, thereby realizing multi-picture display. In a multi-picture display scene, the display position of the traditional OSD menu is generally fixed at the lower right corner of the whole display picture of the display device, but in the embodiment, the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is displayed in a superposition manner in the picture of at least one path of video stream of the multi-path target video stream, the display is more flexible, and a user can quickly find the OSD menu in the picture of one path of video stream which is convenient to watch, so that various working indexes such as color, mode and the like of the display device are quickly adjusted.
In an exemplary embodiment, the specific implementation manner of controlling and adjusting the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may include: and in response to the OSD menu in the form of a video stream being displayed in the picture of each of the plurality of target video streams, controlling to adjust the display position of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream within the area of the picture of the target video stream in which the OSD menu in the form of a video stream is located. If the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is displayed in the picture of each target video stream, when the attribute of the display position is adjusted, the OSD menu in the form of the video stream can be adjusted in the area of the picture of the target video stream where the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is located, so that the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is adjusted to a proper position in the area of the picture of the target video stream where the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is located.
In an exemplary embodiment, the specific implementation manner of controlling and adjusting the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may include: and in response to the OSD menu in the form of a video stream being displayed in the picture of one of the plurality of target video streams, controlling and adjusting the display position of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream within the area of the display picture of the display device. In this embodiment, for a multi-picture display scene, if the OSD menu in the form of a video stream is displayed in a picture of one path of target video stream, the display position of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream can be adjusted in the whole display picture area of the display device as needed, and the display position control is more flexible, so that the OSD menu in the form of a video stream can be adjusted to one picture which is convenient to view.
Based on any of the above embodiments, the OSD menu in the form of a video stream may be in the same bus data format as the target video stream. Illustratively, the OSD menu in the form of a video stream takes the form of an Avalon bus data format. The Avalon bus is an on-chip bus with a simpler protocol. Therefore, the OSD menu in the form of video stream can be compatible with the target video stream, and the display equipment can conveniently and uniformly perform bus control on the video stream.
In an exemplary embodiment, the specific implementation manner of controlling and adjusting the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may include: responding to the target attribute as the display size, and controlling and adjusting the display size of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream; and/or, in response to the target attribute being transparency, controlling to adjust transparency of an OSD menu in the form of a video stream.
The display size therein may be a resolution size. In practical applications, after displaying the OSD menu in the form of the video stream, a second adjustment operation may be performed with respect to the display size of the displayed OSD menu, where the second adjustment operation is an operation of scaling the OSD menu to a target display size, and at this time, controlling to adjust the display size of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may specifically include: and acquiring the target display size corresponding to the second adjustment operation, and controlling the display size of the adjusted OSD menu to be the target display size corresponding to the second adjustment operation. The target display size is the display size to which the OSD menu needs to be adjusted.
The display size of the traditional OSD menu can not be adjusted randomly, the current large picture demand is increased gradually, and when the display picture of the display equipment is large, the display size of the OSD menu still keeps the original size, is not matched with the display picture of the display equipment, and is inconvenient to watch. In this embodiment, since the video stream type OSD menu has the attribute of the video and the display size of the video can be flexibly adjusted, the display size of the video stream type OSD menu can be flexibly adjusted, that is, flexible scaling is performed, so that the display size of the video stream type OSD menu is adjusted to a size convenient for viewing.
The display size of the OSD menu may be adjusted to the size of the entire display screen of the display device. If the size of the whole display frame of the display device is 7860 × 4320, the display size of the OSD menu can reach 7860 × 4320 at most, and the adjustable range of the display size is very large.
In practical applications, after the OSD menu in the form of the video stream is displayed, a third adjustment operation may be performed with respect to the transparency of the displayed OSD menu, where the third adjustment operation is an operation of adjusting the OSD menu to a target transparency. At this time, controlling and adjusting the transparency of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream may specifically include: and acquiring the target transparency corresponding to the third adjustment operation, and controlling and adjusting the transparency of the OSD menu to be the target transparency corresponding to the third adjustment operation. The target transparency is the transparency to which the OSD menu needs to be adjusted.
The transparency of the traditional OSD menu can not be adjusted at will, and the requirement of multi-layer display can not be met. In this embodiment, because the OSD menu in the video stream format has the attribute of the video and the transparency of the video can be flexibly adjusted, the transparency of the OSD menu in the video stream format can be flexibly adjusted, so that the transparency of the OSD menu in the video stream format can be adjusted to a proper transparency, and thus, the contents of other layers covered by the OSD menu can be better viewed.
It can be understood that, since the OSD menu in the form of video stream has the attribute of video, the adjustment control strategy for the target attribute of video may be adopted to control the adjustment of the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of video stream. Specifically, the adjustment control strategy for the target attribute of the video may be implemented by referring to the related art, which is not described herein again.
It is to be understood that the above description is only exemplary and can be applied to adjust the display position, display size or transparency of the OSD menu, and can also be applied to adjust other attributes, which are not listed here.
In an exemplary embodiment, after the original OSD menu is synthesized with the background video stream and the OSD menu synthesized with the background video stream is converted into an OSD menu in the form of a video stream, the OSD menu control method may further include: storing the OSD menu in the form of video stream in the memory of the display device; and in response to the size of the residual memory of the memory being smaller than or equal to the preset threshold value, storing at least part of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream stored in the memory into an extended memory of the display device.
Illustratively, the Memory is a Random Access Memory (RAM). The extended memory may be, but is not limited to, Double Data Rate (DDR) SDRAM.
The size of the preset threshold may be set according to actual needs, and is not limited here.
In practical application, the OSD menu in the form of the video stream can be stored in a memory of the display device, the OSD menu in the form of the video stream occupies a large amount of memory, the size of the memory of the display device is limited, and if the memory is insufficient, the OSD menu in the form of the video stream can be stored in an extended memory for storage, so that the problem of insufficient memory is solved.
The following describes an OSD menu control method provided in an embodiment of the present invention in more detail by taking a specific application scenario as an example.
The scheme of this embodiment may be implemented based on a Display device such as a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and performs Display control of a large-screen multi-layer. The display chip in the display device may be implemented based on a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design.
As shown in fig. 2, the display chip includes a first CPU management unit 201, an instruction data decoding control unit 202, an OSD menu attribute control unit 203, a storage management and control OSD unit 204, a first image processing unit 205, an OSD packet output video stream unit 206, a storage unit 207, a second CPU management unit 208, a storage management unit 209, a second image processing unit 210, and a display output unit 211.
The first CPU management unit 201 and the second CPU management unit 208 may be internal CPUs of the display chip or external CPUs of the display chip. The memory unit 207 includes a RAM and a DDR. Among them, the storage management and control OSD unit 204, the OSD menu attribute control unit 203, and the OSD packetized output video stream unit 206 operate under the control of the first CPU management unit 201. The memory management unit 209, the second image processing unit 210, and the display output unit 211 operate under the control of the second CPU management unit 208.
The instruction data decoding control unit 202 is configured to decode an instruction from the first CPU management unit 201, generate control information, and send the control information to a unit controlled by the first CPU management unit 201 for execution.
Based on this, the storage management and control OSD unit 204 is configured to generate an original OSD menu and perform storage management under the control of the instruction of the first CPU management unit 201, and is also configured to perform storage management of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream and a background video stream from the outside.
In an implementation, when generating the original OSD menu, the manner of generating the pixel data of the OSD menu may include writing data for the display address in response to an instruction (denoted by a character string 0X 01) to write the display address; in response to an instruction to write display data (represented by the character string 0X 02), write display data (e.g., graphics data): writing a foreground color of the display data (e.g., a color of a graphic) in response to an instruction to write the foreground color of the display data (represented by a character string 0X 04); in response to an instruction (represented by a character string 0X 08) to write a background color of the display data, writing a background color of the display data (e.g., a background color of a graphic); in response to the instruction to write the continuous display data (represented by the character string 0X0F + continuous display data), the continuous display data (i.e., the repeated data) is written into the preset display color panel, and then the data of the preset display color panel is called directly. In response to an instruction to close all channels (indicated by the string 0X 00), all channels are closed, and writing of pixel data of the OSD is completed.
The first image processing unit 205 is configured to synthesize an original OSD menu with a background video stream, convert the OSD menu synthesized with the background video stream into an OSD menu in the form of a video stream, and adjust a target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream.
The OSD menu attribute control unit 203 is configured to control the first image processing unit 205 to synthesize an original OSD menu with a background video stream, convert the OSD menu synthesized with the background video stream into an OSD menu in the form of a video stream, and adjust a target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream, under the control of an instruction of the first CPU management unit 201.
In implementation, the original OSD menu is composited with a composite object (e.g., a background video stream) in response to a display compositing instruction (represented by the string 0X2 + identification information of the composite object). Wherein, the value range of the star is 0 to F.
The OSD packetized output video stream unit 206 is used to output an OSD menu in the form of a video stream. In implementation, an OSD menu in the form of a video stream (i.e., an output object) is output in response to a display output control instruction (indicated by a character string 0X3 + identification information of the output object).
The memory management unit 209 is used for memory management of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream and n-way target video streams from the outside.
The second image processing unit 210 is configured to synthesize an OSD menu in the form of a video stream with at least one of the n target video streams. Wherein the value of n is a positive integer.
The display output unit 211 is configured to output the video stream processed by the second image processing unit 210 for display.
Based on the above structure, the OSD menu control method provided in this embodiment includes:
first, the OSD unit 204 reads the original OSD menu and the background video stream from the storage unit 207, synthesizes the original OSD menu with the background video stream through the first image processing unit 205, converts the OSD menu synthesized with the background video stream into an OSD menu in the form of a video stream, and then buffers the OSD menu in the form of the video stream to the RAM of the storage unit 207.
Second, the OSD unit 204 controls at least a portion of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream in the RAM of the storage unit 207 to be stored in the DDR of the storage unit 207 when it is determined that the size of the remaining memory in the RAM of the storage unit 207 is smaller than or equal to the preset threshold.
Third, the storage management and control OSD unit 204 reads the OSD menu in the form of a video stream from the storage unit 207 and transmits it to the OSD packetizing output video stream unit 206 through the first image processing unit 205 for output.
Fourth, the memory management unit 209 stores the OSD menu in the form of the video stream output by the OSD packetizing output video stream unit 206 together with the n-way target video stream to the DDR of the memory unit 207.
Fifthly, the storage management unit 209 reads the video stream of the OSD menu in the form of the video stream and the n target video streams from the storage unit 207, synthesizes the OSD menu in the form of the video stream with at least one target video stream in the n target video streams through the second image processing unit 210, and sends the synthesized video stream to the display output unit 211 for output for display.
Sixth, the instruction data decoding control unit 202 receives and decodes the instruction from the first CPU management unit 201, and generates control information according to the adjustment operation for the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream, and sends the control information to the OSD menu attribute control unit 203. The target property may be, for example, a display size, a display position or a transparency, etc.
Illustratively, in response to an instruction for display zoom-in control (a parameter such as a character string 0X1 × magnification), zoom-in control information is generated to zoom in the OSD menu.
Seventh step, the OSD menu attribute control unit 203 controls the first image processing unit 205 to adjust the target attribute of the OSD menu in the form of a video stream in response to the received control information, and transmits to the OSD packing output video stream unit 206 for output, returning to the fourth step.
It should be noted that the control strategy of the original OSD menu function is still applicable to the OSD menu in the form of video stream in the embodiment of the present invention, which may be implemented by referring to the related art specifically, and is not described herein again.
It should be noted that, when storing the color data of the pixels in the storage unit, the color data may be stored according to the color palette, and the color palette is first written into the color palette and then called, so that the color palette may call the corresponding color. For example, the stored 1BIT data may include: 0: display background color, 1: and displaying the foreground color. Stored 2BIT data: 0x00, 0x01, 0x10, 0x11, respectively, can call the corresponding color palette. The stored 3BIT data D2, D1 and D0 can call 8BIT color plates and can also respectively correspond to three different color values of RGB. In addition, the color can be stored in other ways, and the stored 8BIT data, RRRGGGBB, represents different color values. The stored 16BIT data RRRRRGGGGGGBBBBB represents different color values.
The data storage structure in the storage unit may also be implemented by referring to the related art, which is not described herein.
